KATHERINE
“Hey Katherine, where are you?” Katie asked the moment I answered the call, I had just left my dad's place. The house felt silent this morning when we were having breakfast, I wondered what was wrong if they had an argument but neither of them said no and that it was just once in a while thing when couples are short of words to say to each other.
I hadn't bought their silly excuses but in order not to pry deeper I had let it go hoping they would tell me when they have both calmed down, I told them I would be leaving after breakfast.
Dad had instructed his driver to drop me off at my apartment and I was close to my door when I heard my phone ring and it was Katie.
“I just got to my apartment, what's wrong?” I asked.
“Nothing, you didn't call me yesterday when you left and I was worried, I tried calling your number but it wasn't connecting.”
“I slept off early, I was exhausted. I'm sorry about that. How was the party celebration?” I asked her.
“It was nice though dad and mum were disappointed you left without telling them and a certain someone wouldn't stop bugging me, he kept asking about you" Katie informed me and I scoffed.
“And what did you tell the certain someone?” I asked as I searched my bag for my keys.
“That you went home, he was desperate in finding you because he would stop telling me to give him your address”
“Well I'm glad you didn't give him because he is a pain in my ass, I just want to get through school without him invading my life. I wish I could just tell him to disappear from my life for-”
The sound of someone clearing its throat distracted me and I turned to see Alexander staring at me, his hands crossed on his chest and an evil smirk on his lips.
“I - I - I will call you later Katie, code red” I stuttered before ending the call.
“I presume I'm the pain in your ass and you want me to disappear isn't it?” he asked and I remained silent, “I thought we were getting to a good start I didn't know you harbor so much hate in your heart for me and everyone thought you are the sweet innocent girl, guess one knows what you are really made of” Alexander and I sneered.
“What is it you want Alex?” I asked and he took a step closer to me.
“I was worried about you yesterday, I kept staring at your door hoping you would come home, I tried calling your number but you wouldn't pick up my calls. What the hell happened?"
“First of all, you aren’t my parents to question me about my movements, and didn't Katie tell you about my whereabouts lastly, and who are you to be worried about me?”
“Your boyfriend, I'm your fucking boyfriend and I have every right to be worried about you" he yelled.
“Wow calm your horses Xander, I don't remember me agreeing to be your girlfriend.”
“You did, remember you told me in the female restroom.”
“You cornered me Alexander, I had no choice but to accept so you won't make the whole school think that I lured you I'm into the restroom to have sex with you”
“I don't care Katherine, you belong to me now and as such you need to tell me where you are so I won't get worried,” he said and I rolled my eyes at him.
“I don't have time for this l, I have work to do and assignments to work on,” I told him before opening the door to my room, I was about to lock it when he placed his leg on the door, “What is it this time?”
“I need you to tutor me; I know you hate me because of my ways. I'm not the perfect guy for you but I can change if you allow me to. I can stop flirting with the ladies and take my bookwork seriously if it means having you to be mine” he said.
“And why would you do that?”
“Because I want you and I'm willing to let go of everything”
“Will you really do that?” I asked, with a bit of hope.
“No, I can't and I wouldn't think of that at all. If you want me to change then you have to change me, show me that you care about me, and then I will change my ways to fit yours”
“For a second I thought I could see a light at the end of your tunnel but Nah I doubt there will ever be a light” I lashed at him and he placed his hand on his chest.
“Ouch, that hurts, for fuck sake Katherine. I'm trying to get you here. The list you can do is to be happy and surrender to me. I will make you happy” he informed me.
“I'm happy without you in my life, so no thank you”
“What about being sexually happy, I can satisfy you. I know you haven't had an orgasm in your life, I can smell your pureness oozing out of you. Why don't you give me the chance to help you out” he said.
“I can satisfy myself if I want to; I don't need you helping me out on that”
“Are you so sure about that?” covering the only gap that was left, his firm chest pressed against mine as he lifted my face up to look at me, ”you are gorgeous Katherine Thrones and everything about you drives me insane. I don't think I can resist those lips of yours anymore. You can hate me if you want to after this but one thing you should know is that I won't back away from you until you become mine”
He said that last part in a whisper and I could feel his breath on my face as he kept rubbing his thumb slightly on my lips.
”Don't do t-”
“Shh,” he said, placing a finger on my lips to silence me, “you don't have to talk, just feel it,” he said before claiming his lips with mine.
He bent back my head across his arm and kissed me softly at first, and then with a swift gradation of intensity that made me cling to him as the only solid thing in a dizzy swaying world. His insistent mouth was parting my shaking lips, sending wild tremors along my nerves; it felt like I was floating in space as his mouth devoured mine.
Soft moans escaped my lips as I gripped tightly and he took that as a welcoming invitation to insert his tongue into my mouth which I gladly accepted and just when the kiss was about to reach its peak when I heard my name.
“KATHERINE THRONES!!!!” I heard someone scream my name and I quickly turned to see who it was and I froze, my jaws wide open as the woman approached me. What the hell was she doing here and why now, why was she here at the wrong time? The moment when my lips were locked with Alexander.
