Chapter 127 Put Your Dirty Hands Away
Chapter 127 Put Your Dirty Hands Away
Veronica Parker thought it was unfortunate, for how could such an excellent woman be charmed by Toby Cage?
"But don't tell Toby that I brought you to the bar." Suzanne Roland said.
Veronica said, "No, I don't know him very well. I won't go and talk to him." It seemed that Suzanne still cared about what Toby thought.
It was normal, as apart from his character, other external conditions about him are the best choice.
Suzanne looked at her and smiled. Veronica thought it meant something.
"Do you think Toby and I deserve each other?" Suzanne said as if she was just chatting.
"Handsome men and beautiful women are a good match." Veronica paused with an obscure look in her eyes and said, "In fact, you know best whether you deserve him or not. I mean the aspect of getting along with his character. As long as the other party does not have a problem with principles, it is a match."
"What is the matter with the principle?"
"It's the kind of when he set foot on several boats. What women usually like is the single-mindedness of men."
Suzanne was stunned and laughed. "Do you think Toby Cage looks like that kind of person?"
"This. I don't know." Veronica said. "It's for you to find out for yourself."
Suzanne thought for a moment and nodded. "I think the same as you."
Veronica stopped saying anything because if she talked too much, she would make mistakes.
Ex-girlfriend and current girlfriend coming to the bar to talk about feelings, so such harmony was too weird!
Suzanne's phone lit up next to her. Suzanne looked at the call and stood up. "I'm going to answer the phone."
"Okay."
Veronica sat there alone, eating fruit with a toothpick. She was in no hurry to get back. Anyway, the six young ones must have been fast asleep by this time, and it was morning when they would see Mom.
"My lady, why are you alone?" Someone came to talk to her.
My lady? Veronica looked up and saw three men, one of whom had a glass in his hand, and placed it in front of her, "Let me buy you a drink."
"I don't drink." Veronica withdrew her eyes and refused to talk to him.
"Are you kidding me? Who comes to a bar without drinking? It's too hard to refuse in this way." The man insisted, "Just one drink."
"I told you, I don't drink." Veronica was not happy.
"What's up with that face? Then you have to ask my brother if he will allow it." The man pointed to the two men next to him. "Beauty, I advise you not to make a toast, not to eat, or I'll punish you." As he said, he was about to start touching Veronica's face.
Veronica subconsciously blocked it with her hand, stood up, and left the seat. "Please put your dirty hands away!"
"Dirty? Why are you pretending to be pure? Isn't it true that women who come to the bar are sent for men to play?"
Veronica's face was afraid of the worst that could happen, as he spoke so dirtily.
She turned around and saw that Suzanne hadn't called yet.
Forget it. She'd better go back first and tell Suzanne when she went to the TV station later.
As soon as she turned around and walked away, she was stopped--
"What's the matter, your brother is lucky to have a crush on you, and you still want to go?"
"Get out of the way." Veronica panicked. After all, she couldn't beat three adult men but it doesn't mean she could be bullied.
"Why don't you get a room with my brother? He won't treat you badly." The man was going to touch her face again.
Veronica took a step back and couldn't stand it.
She picked up the bottle next to her and smash it on the man's head.
Just as soon as her hand was raised, her wrist was strangled, and the tough force made Veronica unable to move for half a minute while the bottle stood still in the air.
Veronica thought it was a gang, but she subconsciously struggled. When she turned around and saw who has reached her back, she froze on the spot. 'Nick Cage?? What's he doing here?!'
In response, Veronica was furious and said, "You. What are you doing holding my hand? Let me go! Didn't you see that man stopped me from leaving? And he touched my face! Let me go!"
