Chapter 17 Sleep Is Like Fighting A War
"It doesn't matter if he's not interested in me, as long as I'm interested in him!" With that, she hung up the phone without waiting for Toby Cage to speak.
She almost crushed the screen with her fingers.
This Toby Cage was so mean when they broke up.
Her cell phone number was changed after returning home. Toby Cage must have gotten it from Myra Carllyle when she gave her, her phone number.
Veronica Parker felt uneasy until she had calmed down. She didn't get in touch with anyone when she returned home, but more and more people knew her.
It didn't matter who knew her, it didn't matter who knew that she has children. Anyway, that's what she's going to do in her life.
However, she didn't take into account that Nick Cage was also from Illinois.
Nick Cage must not know that she gave birth to his baby!
Such a big city like Illinois, but still they came across each other, and she was able to work for the King Group, it like they was destined to meet. It was no wonder Nick Cage thought she was up to no good.
When she got home, the little ones were asleep. After Veronica Parker went back, Isabella went home.
The little guys on the bed were supposed to sleep well, but then they turned into four-pronged ones and pouted their little butts on their stomachs. Josh had one foot in his sock and a small fleshy foot exposed. She saw the sock was in Daniel's hand. He must have been in a daze's sleep and was dragged down by him.
Veronica Parker lay down on the bed and began to kiss Peter's fleshy arm and suck her baby's fat face from the first to the sixth.
After inhaling, Veronica Parker felt a little dizzy, caused by a lack of oxygen. She might have inhaled a little hard.
The next day was Saturday, and Veronica Parker was going to sleep upside down when she doesn't have to go to work.
However, after giving birth to the baby, she couldn't get satisfactory sleep.
Even though the children did not disturb her, her body clock woke her up.
As soon as Veronica Parker was conscious, she felt the weight of breathing. When she opened her eyes, she saw Daniel's face in front of her. Daniel was lying on her chest, sleeping soundly.
And next to the diaper-wrapped buttocks facing her face, she didn't know which one it was.
She didn't have to look at them to know that her body was surrounded by small children every day.
She was really tired. Sleeping was like fighting at war.
"Daniel, wake up." Veronica Parker called him.
Daniel rubbed his eyes with his little hand and opened them. At first sight, the stars twinkled in Veronica Parker's eyes and said, "Mom!"
"Good morning, Daniel." Veronica Parker smiles.
Then she heard a thump. She didn't know who fell to the ground.
Frightened, Veronica Parker sat up and saw Peter, who had fallen to the ground, with his hands on his ear, his coat swung up, revealing his round belly and still sleeping soundly.
Daniel looked at her, with his thinking face.
Veronica Parker couldn't help being amused.
She counted children on the bed and the ground, "one, two, three, four, five, six, just right."
During the day, Veronica Parker took the children for a walk and went to the mall.
"Stand in line, don't run." Veronica Parker said.
So, the six little guys took the lead with Peter and moved on.
They attracted a lot of people in the mall, and some even filmed them with their cell phones.
"Wow, they're all the same size. How cute"
"Look at the last one left behind! So cute."
"Where did this child come from? Are they all from the nursery?"
The people next to them were adorable and stared at them all the time.
The little ones seem to be used to being seen, are not shy at all, and walked in good order.
But Veronica Parker was embarrassed to blush.
"Mom, I want it hot!" Cathy pointed to the panda puppet outside a store and blushed with excitement.
