Chapter 200 Meeting The Doctor
Chapter 200 Meeting The Doctor
Nick Cage's thin lips touched her neck, like a wild animal licking a wound, and her soft tongue made Veronica Parker tremble.
It was as if Nick would expose his fangs and bite hard at any moment.
It's extremely dangerous.
"Don't move." Nick's voice was not strong, but he had a tone of command that could not be disobeyed.
Even though Veronica Parker's body was tense, she could not contain the tremor.
She tilted her neck, stretched gracefully, closed her eyes, gasped carefully, and her hand hanging to one side and consciously grasped Nick's arm, bearing the comfort of Nick like Laura.
It took about two or three minutes for the action to stop.
Veronica bowed her face and trembled, feeling that the pinched part of her neck was boiling.
Nick's angular face was closer, almost close to hers, breathing heavily on her slippery skin and feeling hot all over her body.
She went to the hospital again and receiving her was Dr. Tracy Dora.
Veronica was half-lying there with her throat checked by Tracy. Nick was still sitting next to her like a parent with a child to see a doctor.
Veronica felt very embarrassed when he saw Tracy, but Tracy did not dare to snub Nick's command.
Busy examining her, "Say, ah." Tracy shines a small flashlight on her throat.
Veronica called obediently.
Tracy turned off the flashlight and said, "Except for the bruises on the neck there's no trauma in the throat. The pain will go away in two days with medication."
Veronica sat up and said, "Thank you."
"You're welcome," Tracy replied.
Veronica asked, "If I have any questions, can I still talk to you?"
Tracy didn't think she would ask this and looked hesitantly at Nick. After all, Veronica's identity is a little sensitive.
"Just ask me," Nick answered slightly strong.
Veronica's lips were silent.
"Ask you? Are you a doctor? Why do I have to go through you? I'm not feeling well, you know?
I've never seen such a bossy person!"
Those who didn't know thought he was the dean!
Veronica Parker turned and left.
Tracy was surprised by this attitude in front of Nick. When she looked at Nick's expression again, there was no sign of anger.
This is really strange.
Veronica arrived outside the neighborhood in Nick's car.
She didn't say anything and just wanted to get out of the car.
As soon as she tightened her wrist, she was grabbed by Nick. His big hands clasped her like an unbreakable chain.
Veronica suppressed her panic and looked at him, "What's the matter?"
Nick's sharp, deep eyes swept across her neck saying, "Nothing." With that, he let go of Veronica.
Veronica lowered her eyes, jumped out of the car, and went to the compound baffled by Nick's behavior.
What was he trying to do?
I thought he was going to get something from her, but he let her go.
Forget it, anyway, I can't guess the mind of this uncertain man!
Even without looking back, Veronica knew that Rolls-Royce was still dormant in the dark.
Nick sat in his seat, looking sharply and darkly at the slender figure farther and farther away until he was out of sight.
Veronica Parker went back to the house and went back to the room first. Six little ones were not there.
She gently opened Isabella's door, and Isabella and Peter were asleep.
She closed the door quietly and went back to her room.
Instead of going to bed, she went straight to the bathroom with pajamas and towels.
Standing in front of the mirror, Veronica saw the bruised fingerprints on her neck.
It looked scary.
Nick said he was fine and took her to the hospital, and he was so careful with such a trifle, and the last time her face was swollen.
