Chapter 212 Something Was Wrong
Chapter 212 Something Was Wrong
"Is there any medicine she can take to lessen the pain?" he asked Tracy Dora.
"Dysmenorrhea is just a normal thing for women. It might improve when she gets pregnant and gave birth", she said.
"Do you think she can be pregnant in the future?" Nick Cage asked.
At that moment, Veronica Parker could hardly breathe as if her heart suddenly stopped.
She turned to Nick Cage and angrily said, "I said there's no need for a consultation! I told you already that I can no longer get pregnant! I don't have the right to become a mother and you don't have to tell it to my face!" she angrily said.
"Dr. Dora, thank you for your time today", she said to Tracy Dora, wiped her tears and walked away.
Tracy Dora was stunned. Nick Cage chased her.
Veronica Parker walked as fast as she can with her hand on her belly. Nick Cage caught up with her. She asked him to stay away.
"Nick, I know you hate me, but please stop torturing me like this", she said in tears, "I said there's no need for consultation, but you still forced me to do so! I cannot bear a child!"
"Tracy Dora is a doctor", Nick said calmly.
"I know! And I don't want to hear whatever she found out", she cried helplessly, "I just want to be alone. You know this is something I couldn't accept until now".
She covered her face with her palm and continued crying.
Nick Cage was stunned. He felt like he just committed a crime.
He called the bodyguard and ordered to ask the doctor for the prescription.
"Are you done crying?" he asked Veronica.
"No!"
He walked towards Veronica Parker and tried to lift her up. She was struggling so he said, "Don't try to mess with me".
The bodyguard approached them and handed over the prescription. They went to the car and head home.
She was prescribed painkillers. She hoped it will work because she was already in so much pain for the past three days.
Veronica Parker was seated in the car with her head against the window. She was thinking about what happened back in the hospital. She was wondering if Tracy Dora found anything that she couldn't say in front of Nick Cage.
She confronted Nick Cage in front of Tracy Dora about her inability to bear a child, but she didn't say anything, or maybe she thought Nick Cage knew she got pregnant before.
She knew there was something wrong with her.
Her eyes were closed. Nick Cage grabbed her head and carefully laid her down to his lap.
