Chapter 226 Nobody's Free
Chapter 226 Nobody's Free
However Rachel Hamilton tried to go up the staircase, the bodyguard at the entrance of the staircase would not give him a chance.
She had no choice but to argue with Nick Cage, almost crying she said, "Nick, why did you let her here? Look at her, she's so arrogant!"
Nick Cage glanced at the guardrail upstairs and ordered, "Send her away."
Rachel Hamilton laughed as soon as she heard those words, 'Oh, finally.'
She thought to herself, 'Veronica Parker, who do you think you are? How dare you act arrogantly in front of me? You are just a nobody.'
Thoughts were racing in Nick Cage's mind. He had always believed that he was the most important person, 'I am different from that woman. She was just a lowly civilian. What qualification did she think she has that she came here to Winter Villa? Without me, she's just nothing!'
However, when the bodyguard came up to her, Rachel Hamilton's face turned from proud to surprise. "What are you doing? I am not the one you should send away. It should be Veronica Parker!"
The bodyguard did not speak and he went straight up to Rachel Hamilton. He grabbed her and pulled her out forcibly.
"Ah! Let go of me! Let go of me, you moron! Nick help me, he's crazy!" Rachel Hamilton kept calling Nick Cage.
Nick Cage didn't respond until Rachel Hamilton was dragged out and he could no longer hear the woman.
Nick Cage turned to look at Veronica Parker.
Veronica Parker gave him a look of innocence before she got up and left.
She was very disappointed.
She thought Rachel Hamilton's anger would have an effect on Nick Cage. She wanted to get that chance so he would let her go at least for short while but much to her surprise, the person who was sent away was not her.
Didn't they say that Rachel Hamilton was Nick Cage's fiancee? Did he not care about his fiancee's feelings at all?
Sure enough, he was a man with a lot of money and power. That being said, anyone is just insignificant in his eyes.
Veronica Parker was upset that she wasn't sent away.
It seems that Rachel Hamilton was nothing in Nick Cage's heart.
When Veronica Parker was about to close the door, it was suddenly blocked by a hand which startled her.
The door was forcibly pushed open and the person who pressed on the door panel was caught by Veronica Parker's eyes within a flash.
Veronica Parker took a deep breath, "Nick, it's not good for you to do this to your fiancee."
"Why? Aren't you jealous?" Nick Cage squeezed her chin and said in a low hoarse voice, "I am allowing you to be jealous."
Veronica Parker looked at him with her lips pursed, 'Is this man in his right mind? Why would she be jealous? He's talking nonsense.'
"Mister Cage, don't you worry, I'm not jealous. Why would I be? You know ---," before Veronica Parker had finished her words; she was interrupted as Nick Cage leaned in to kiss her. She heard him say, "It's okay, we'll take it easy."
Nick Cage seized her forcefully and violently. After he let go, Veronica Parker leaned softly against Nick Cage's strong chest so she could clearly hear his loud heartbeat.
Her lips and tongue felt numb.
And then she heard Nick Cage's said, "Get down on your knees."
Veronica Parker, with her eyes trembling with a little fear, hesitantly knelt in front of Nick Cage.
"Just be a good girl and do your job. I will let you go back tomorrow," Veronica Parker was dumbfounded for a moment and she looked up at Nick Cage's dangerous expression.
She knows that Nick Cage always gets to have what he wanted, that man got his ways. She felt humiliated that she was forced to do something she did not want to.
Veronica Parker did not want to do it but the terms offered by Nick Cage were tempting her.
If she refused his offer, would she able to climb the walls in Winter Villa for her to gain just a bit of freedom?
Realistically speaking, climbing the walls was impossible for her. Even if she was born with wings it is difficult to fly when Nick Cage's were looking at you from every corner of the Winter Villa.
"You can't go back on your word, " Veronica Parker could handle the disgust of pleasing him if it means she could go far away from him and prioritized the sake of her six little ones.
"Oh, it's time," Veronica Parker woke up early in the morning.
It was 07:30 am when she looked at her cell phone on the nightstand.
That night, she didn't forget that Nick Cage promised her that she was allowed to go outside for the day.
So she didn't want to waste any more time and she prepared herself so she could leave as soon as possible.
Nick Cage should not forget what he promised her or what she suffered last night will be put in vain.
