Chapter 244 Phone Call
Chapter 244 Phone Call
"Can I go to the bathroom?" She saw the man approaching her, Veronica Parker turned her head and asked.
"You want to escape?" Rachel Hamilton sneered.
"Can I escape when you are around me? Otherwise, who wants to have a wet blanket in the middle of the process?"
"You are very considerate of us. If you take her there, I'm sure she can't get away." Rachel Hamilton was very confident.
Veronica Parker went into the bathroom and closed the door.
She did not have time to think, also she knew that the man outside was watching her, and there was no window in the bathroom, only a ventilation hole. Her head could not stick out, not to mention her body.
Veronica Parker leaned against the sink in a daze and said that she would go back to eat. That was great. Her six little children would be so disappoint if they didn't see her.
Veronica Parker didn't call Isabella in advance.
Her backpack was searched by Rachel Hamilton's people.
Now that Rachel Hamilton was sitting on the sofa, she was not worried that Veronica Parker would run away, if she would try she would see what she can do!
At that time, the cell phone in the shoulder bag rang and was removed from Rachel Hamilton.
Regardless of other people's privacy, she opened her backpack and took out her cell phone.
The caller ID was Isabella.
Rachel Hamilton hesitated for a moment, but she answered and immediately heard a milky voice inside, "Mom, are you back yet? We are waiting for you to have dinner!"
'Child? Where did she get the kid?' Rachel Hamilton asked herself.
Rachel Hamilton was still wondering that she hung up the phone after the first bout of bewilderment.
Veronica Parker spent ten minutes in the bathroom and the goon knocked on the door, "Are you done?"
"Wait a minute." Veronica Parker yelled at the door.
It was quiet outside.
Then the door was pushed straight open.
When Rachel Hamilton came in, she saw the leisurely Veronica Parker standing there and asked suspiciously, "What are you doing?"
"My feet are a little numb. Can't I have a rest while standing up?"
Rachel Hamilton was so angry with her so she said, "Pull her out!"
"I'll go by myself!" Veronica Parker, she didn't want them touch it.
After going out, she went straight to the sofa in the living room.
Rachel Hamilton sat down, and the two men were about to press Veronica Parker on the sofa when the car engine sounded outside.
Rachel Hamilton froze, while Veronica Parker smiled.
"Who's here? Did you do something?" Rachel Hamilton saw the sneer on Veronica Parker's face. She remembered that Veronica Parker had been very calm since she was arrested.
'Did she know that someone would come to save her? Who is it?' Rachel Hamilton asked herself.
There was a commotion at the door, which made the air uneasy as if they could be invaded at any time.
Nick Cage's long black figure suddenly fell before her eyes. He walked in angrily and majestically.
Rachel Hamilton couldn't believe in her eyes. 'Why did Nick find this place?' She said to herself.
'Veronica must have told him, otherwise how would he know about this place!' She added in her mind.
Veronica Parker was not surprised. She turned around and shook her body. She slapped Rachel Hamilton in the face and slapped her again using her backhand.
Rachel Hamilton screamed, she was shot in her cheek. "Veronica, how dare you beat me to death?"
The two men behind her were ready to stop Veronica Parker.
Nick Cage's cold eyes swept past, and the man came to a standstill with fear.
Veronica Parker sneered, "Why not? Who makes you so interested in other people's faces?"
Rachel Hamilton wanted to fight back, but she saw Nick Cage here, she hurriedly came forward and cried pretending to be weak. "Nick look, she hit me, you must help me!"
Nick Cage said coldly, "Who told you to tie her up?"
"It was because she was rude to me that I wanted to bring her here to warn her, but I didn't do anything." Rachel Hamilton wronged, she was pretending to be the good one between her and Veronica Parker.
Veronica Parker looked at Nick Cage's blankly look, but she still had no idea.
At least Rachel Hamilton had something to do with her mother, and she was the daughter of her enemy.
