Chapter 246 Have Been Cheated
Chapter 246 Have Been Cheated
"Well." Peter only got deeper into her arms.
Veronica Parker said sadly, "Sorry, Mom was late because I did something else. I hasn't eaten yet. Have you eaten?"
"I've already eaten. I'll help you with it." Isabella said.
"Good." Veronica Parker touched her children's heads one by one and said, "Come on, let's go back to the house."
Veronica Parker and her children went into their house and close the door, and Isabella came out with the meal.
No sooner had Veronica Parker sat at the table and then Cathy volunteered, "Mom, we called you!"
"Mom, you didn't speak when we call you," Peter said.
Julie added, "And then. And then the phone fell on the floor!"
Josh said, "You hang up!"
Lily said, "They said we will call you later!"
Daniel, with his reddened face and bright eyes, seemed to want to call her Mom too.
"Did you call me?" Veronica Parker was surprised.
Isabella asked, "Didn't you get it?"
Veronica Parker was stupefied at first. When she thought of something, she immediately stood, she picked up her bag and pulled out her cell phone.
And then she saw her dialler record.
The time they called when she was in the bathroom.
Veronica Parker was so scared that her head became blank for a moment.
The call must have been answered by Rachel Hamilton. When she picked up her bag, the zipper was open.
She didn't think too much. She thought that she had accidentally pulled it open during the struggle.
Peter was only hidden by her, but she never thought she would fold it in Rachel Hamilton!
It was just that, Veronica Parker thought again, since Rachel Hamilton received a phone call from her children, why didn't she tell it to Nick Cage while he was there?
Or she did not react? She didn't think of that layer of relationship? No way, with Rachel Hamilton's character, someone would never know the information that she had.
Veronica Parker had no way to ask Rachel Hamilton. 'What if it reminds her instead?' She asked herself.
She was more or less lucky in her heart. She was hoping that Rachel Hamilton didn't know anything.
Veronica Parker slept all night safe and sound, and she went to work the next day.
Then she went home from work normally and she bought her children's favorite fruits.
After dinner, she cut the fruit and put it on the table for them to eat.
Isabella was washing dishes and Veronica Parker was picking up the toys and books that thrown everywhere. Her six little ones were playing by their selves.
Then there was a knock on the door, and Cathy immediately raised her hand to volunteer. "I'll get the door!"
Veronica Parker wondered, who would knock at the door at this time?
Cathy stood on tiptoe, her flesh hand painstakingly opened the door. She innocently looked at the woman standing outside and asked, "Who are you looking for?"
"Who are you? I need to talk to Veronica, Veronica?" The woman who appeared was none other than Rachel Hamilton, who was sure of something when she saw the child coming to open the door.
"She's there, Mom!" Cathy said.
Veronica Parker was stunned at what she heard, she walked over and froze when she saw Rachel Hamilton.
Rachel Hamilton raised her eyes and looked sarcastically at Veronica Parker. "So you have kids? I wonder if Nick knows that you have children."
Veronica Parker tightened her nerves and looked at her coldly. She didn't expect that Rachel Hamilton would come directly to her house. Well, she caught her on the spot.
"I told you, I wasn't sure who the kid who called you Mom on the phone was. Fortunately, I hired someone to follow you. If I didn't discover this Nick would have been cheated by you all this time!" Rachel Hamilton smiled proudly, as if she was waiting for her to die.
As soon as Rachel Hamilton finished her words, Veronica Parker's other five children ran over with their short legs and looked curiously at the strange uninvited guest.
Rachel Hamilton blinked and wondered, "Why are there so many children?"
