Chapter 263 The Bar
Chapter 263 The Bar
When she was thinking about who she was looking for, her cell phone rang.
She was stunned when she saw the call, Kay Tours?
Why did she call her?
She answered, "Hello, Secretary Tours."
"I don't seem to be sleeping when I answer the phone so soon. There's nothing I can do. I want to ask you a favor."
"What can I do for you?"
"Mr. Cage talked to some business people in the bar and then he didn't have a good time, and the situation was a little hard to stop, so he wanted you to appease him."
"Am I going to be cannon fodder?"
"No, believe me, his mood would not settle down until you go to Mr. Cage."
Veronica Parker would like to say that you think too highly of me.
On second thought, was that a godsend?
She didn't lead Nick Cage. Kay Tours came to her.
"I'm at the gate of the neighborhood." Kay Tours said.
Veronica Parker was shocked
Walking outside the neighborhood, she saw a strange car parked on the side of the road with Kay Tours standing beside it.
Veronica Parker walked over, thinking inexplicably that, Kay Tours had planned to pick her up long ago, and even had a determination that she was bound to receive her.
Even if she doesn't agree to, Kay Tours, she would try her best to convince her.
"Veronica Parker, please." Kay Tours said, opening the door for her personally.
"I'm flattered that I don't need Secretary Tours to answer it in person. But I wonder how do you know where I live?" Veronica Parker remembers that she did not fill in her exact address when she worked for the KING Group.
"Mr. Cage has mentioned it before."
Veronica Parker smiled and got on the car.
After the car was on the road, Veronica Parker wanted to talk to Rachel Hamilton but didn't know the address of the bar.
"Where is Mr. Cage now? Still in the bar?" She asked.
"Yes."
"Where's the bar?" Veronica Parker asked.
"You'll know when you get there."
"You can't even say the address, why don't you keep it such a secret? Is there anything I can't know?" Veronica Parker asked defensively.
Kay Tours pushed his glasses and smiled. "How could that be?"
When Veronica Parker saw that he did not say anything, he did not ask any more questions. Asking too many questions would only make people feel strange.
She would tell Rachel Hamilton when she got there.
When she got to the bar, I got out of the car and, Veronica Parker saw the name of the bar.
She followed Kay Tours into the bar, Kay Tours in front walk, Veronica Parker in the back, while walking, she's holding a cell phone to send Rachel Hamilton the bar location.
After sending it, put the phone back in the bag, unnoticed.
They walk through the busy men and women and walk back until they stop in front of a box.
Kay Tours pushes the door open and blocks it to let Veronica Parker in.
When Veronica Parker went in, she saw that there were almost four pairs of men and women inside, while Nick Cage was sitting alone, with empty seats on both sides, and no one dared to sit on an equal footing with him. He clung to the wine glass in his hand, and his eyes changed slightly when he looked at her. "What are you doing here?"
Kay Tours said next to him, "I called Miss Parker for Mr. Cage."
"It's troublesome." Nick Cage looked cold.
Kay Tours nodded slightly.
Nick Cage looked into Veronica Parker's dark eyes and clapped his hand beside him.
Veronica Parker understood, went over, and sat down beside him.
Veronica Parker looked aside and Nick Cage gulped down the wine in his hand. Look at his face, as cold as frost. Others seemed curious about her identity, but no one dared to ask, and the atmosphere seemed a little depressing.
Sure enough, something unpleasant happened before she came.
Just as Veronica Parker's mind wandered, Nick Cage turned and stared at her, then the shadow pressed over and when the thin lips were about to be affixed to Veronica Parker's mouth, Veronica Parker bowed her head slightly and whispered, "Somebody, don't do this."
"Wait for the idle people to get out." The Nick Cage voice did not rise and fall, but it startled others, and everyone stood up and walked out trembling.
