Chapter 34 Talk Like I'm A Punching Bag
The luxuriously dressed woman came down from upstairs and reprimanded the servant next to her as she walked. "How were you able to look at the young master?"
No one dared to refute her words.
Chloe Bowen picked up the baby boy and asked, "What's the matter? Stop crying and tell your mother who bullied you."
"It is the elder brother, the bad elder brother!" John Cage complained.
Chloe Bowen, who was ready to stand up for his son, flashed her eyes slightly, "Don't be so rude, my brother likes you."
John Cage acted pitifully at Chloe Bowen and sobbed, "Like me? He won't let me go to his office."
"That's because my brother is busy. Wait until my brother is not busy. Go and wash your face first."
John Cage followed his servant to wash his face.
Chloe Bowen was already planning.
She wanted to keep John Cage and Nick Cage close.
She just didn't expect that Nick Cage would be so ruthless to a child.
Nick Cage was the boss of the Cage family which controlled the KING group.
Who would have thought that Nick Cage, who once left home, would have such great ability and ambition? At this moment, he was the owner of the whole of Kyoto and no one wanted to go to the top of him!
It was also a rock pressing down on the Cage family.
She needed to think of a plan to make Nick and John Cage closer to each other. After that, everything would be easier!
Veronica Parker was drinking in the pantry, she was holding a cup while she was thinking about buying milk powder for her children. The milk she bought last time was consumed very fast.
However, she was feeling very happy thinking about the way her cute little babies would hold the milk bottle and finish it.w
She saw Kay Tours who came in to get some water.
Kay Tours saw her smile and thought that it was a greeting.
Veronica Parker thought about what happened yesterday and said, "Mr. Kay Tours, will you stop me asking me to go to Mr. Cage's office?"
"Why?"
"That's not my job! Sooner or later, it will only lead to discord among my colleagues." Veronica Parker said.
"No. And you did a great job, Mr. Cage was in a much better mood later. "
"It's like I'm a punching bag." Veronica Parker muttered.
"Did Mr. Cage embarrass you?"
"No."
"That's good." Kay Tours poured the water and left.
Veronica Parker bit her lips, embarrassed? Kay Tours would never be able to imagine the dilemma in the office but she can't say that!
In the afternoon, the phone on her desk rang and she answered.
"Get Mr. Cage a cup of coffee." she heard Kay Tours said on the other line.
"Why me again?" Veronica Parker was depressed.
"I asked Josephine to make copies of the afternoon documents."
Veronica Parker turned around and sure enough, Josephine was not at her table. She wanted to ask if someone else could do it. She's not alone in the secretarial department.
But as soon as she opened her mouth to protest, the other line went dead.
Veronica Parker felt scared. Nick Cage's office was her nightmare! Once inside, she would face irrevocable danger!
But it was her job and she needed to go.
Nick Cage had a special pantry, which was different from the staff.
It contained everything in it, especially the refrigerator but there was nothing in the fridge.
Fortunately, Veronica Parker learned to make coffee when she was abroad. That was why it was very easy for her to make one.
She made the coffee, knocked on the door of the office, and when she heard an answer, she came inside to bring the cup of coffee.
When she came inside the office, she noticed that Nick Cage was there with two senior executives.
Nick Cage sat in the middle of the sofa. It looked like an imperial seat and the senior management executives sat opposite Nick Cage. He looked serious with two cups of tea in front of him. They were talking about the top management of the company.
Nick Cage was lazily leaning on the back of the sofa, cross-legged. He exhibited a domineering posture, he was listening silently and an unspeakable sense of pressure was felt in his aura.
