Chapter 370 Dodge Nick Cage at All Cost.
Veronica Parker swallowed, gritted her teeth, and looked away awkwardly. "I'm going to check in on the kids."
Before she could even finish what she wanted to say, Nick Cage, suddenly moved closer to her, enveloped her with his warm body, and surprisingly gave her a kiss on her lips.
Veronica Parker was terrified of what was going on. Her eyes opened wide. She could not believe what was happening. She wanted to push Nick Cage's body away, but her hands unexpectedly fell on Nick Cage's chest instead. She could not explain what was going on with her, but she felt that all her strength instantly vanished as if some machine took it all away from her. She felt so weak that she found herself starting to give in to whatever Nick Cage was doing.
It was only after a series of invasions, entanglements inside and outside, and a lot of passionate kisses that Nick Cage let her go.
Veronica Parker gasped for air and questioningly stared at him, not only her eyes trembled, but everything in her mind appeared blurred!
"I felt I needed to do that. Immediately after I got out of bed, that was everything I have been thinking of doing." Nick Cage closed his eyes, his black eyes as black as ink. He then squeezed Veronica Parker's chin and looked down at her, his voice as low as a hoarse voice, and said, "Thanks. I feel so much better now"
Veronica Parker was speechless. She looked away first and then blurted out, "Am I some punching bag to you? I don't need to take whatever blow you feel like doing when you wake up. Anyway, can you step back a little bit?" She sternly asked, desperately trying to mask the nerves that she is feeling all over at the moment.
There is no way Nick Cage could be acting like this. He was never warm with her. He has always been hostile and so she couldn't fathom what just happened.
He pinched her on the chin one more time. His fingers slightly rubbed on her skin, letting her feel his rough and manly hands. "Wait a minute"
"What are we waiting on? I don't see any reason I have to stay here with you. Plus, it is a lot better for the two of us to be separated. Let us make sure that this never happens again."
Nick Cage was intentional. He wanted to see Veronica Parker panic. He stared at her intently as if he was reading through her soul.
Veronica Parker couldn't push him away, so she just forced to change the subject hoping it will derail him. "By the way, did my mother give you her money because that was what she told me?"
Nick Cage's dark eyes deepened and sharpened upon hearing what Victoria Parker said, "Huh?"
"Well, you see, if she had that means I don't owe you money anymore. I am not under you anymore. We are even" Veronica Parker said.
Nick Cage's lips slightly turned upside down, his black eyes turned deeper and deeper. He put more pressure on Veronica Parker's body as he pinned himself even closer to her.
Veronica Parker's face froze, and her body trembled. "You."
"Are you still innocent? Huh?" The naughty Nick Cage teased her.
Veronica Parker gritted her teeth. She was once again speechless.
Nick Cage's actions were so straightforward that she knew she had no choice but dodged him but dodge she can't do.
Talking to Nick Cage about innocence is just self-deception.
Nick Cage was extremely dangerous now. He acted as if he was ready to invade her at any time. She dared not move, held her breath in her chest, and made sure that she does not give off anything that might get misinterpreted as submission.
Just then, they heard a knock on the door. Veronica Parker thanked whoever that was who rescued from Nick Cage's emotional suffocation. "I'll get the door"
With that, she pushed Nick Cage away from her and fled to the door.
The door opened and the waiter reappeared to bring breakfast.
The waiter was not surprised to see Veronica Parker showed up again. Besides, it was the second time that she opened the door for him.
The effect of panic from everything that Nick Cage did that morning was so serious that after the door closed, Veronica Parker turned away from where he was at and immediately headed to her room.
Veronica Parker didn't go to the TV station that Sunday to accompany her six little ones. She was glued to them all night, last night.
After what happened this morning, she couldn't help but think that everything was premeditated by Nick Cage.
After breakfast, she and the six little kids went to Winter Villa in Nick Cage's car.
As soon as they got out of the car, the sextuplets waved their short legs merrily like a round little penguin.
"Aircraft! I want to see the aircraft!"
"Me, too!"
Veronica Parker saw the cute appearance of the six little ones. Just as she was about to follow them, her cellphone rang.
Who could be calling her? It must be someone from work. She thought to herself.
She took out her cell phone and looked at it. Her expression changed slightly at the sight of who was calling. She just stood there not showing any intention of answering the call.
"Are you not going to answer your phone?" Nick Cage looked at her maliciously.
Veronica Parker turned off the phone. "It's not that important."
With that, she turned around and left.
This expression of guilt on her face made Nick Cage's aura suddenly cold and his eyes clouded.
Bob, who came over, wondered if anything happened?
"Here comes Mr. Cage, Mr. Oscar"
Nick Cage was stunned and walked in the direction of the hall.
In the side hall, there was a man standing in front of the whole glass wall, and in the distance were Veronica Parker and the six little ones. The man has his back turned against him. He has broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and long legs, and has a slightly strong figure.
