Chapter 396 It's For You
Chapter 396 It's For You
Veronica Parker didn't have to look, because she knew who was hugging her.
Nick Cage was a beast and he was terrible.
Veronica Parker was still hugging him and cherishing the moment. She did not know how long this would last. She only knew that it was not a dream. Nick Cage was like having inexhaustible strength, forcing her to bear his strength and endless demands.
She thought that the woman who would be on his side for a lifetime should have a long life.
She was the one who came to him on her own initiative.
She couldn't escape the clutches of Nick Cage.
'Is Nick giving her a chance to escape by avoiding her? So naive!' She said to herself.
Once she had the desire to escape, the consequences would be more serious.
But she could not escape, if she tried, she couldn't see her children again.
She had no way out. The only way was that Nick Cage gave her permission, or she could beg him.
"Well." Veronica Parker got used to it and moved her body, but he still couldn't help humming, and her scalp went numb.
"What?" She heard Nick Cage's low hoarse voice.
Veronica Parker hummed. She clenched her teeth, she was uncomfortable. She tried to get out of Nick Cage's arms.
Veronica Parker turned around. Nick Cage's hand clasped her waist and hugged her from behind.
Nick Cage's toned hot chest was pressed to her back.
Veronica Parker's eyes roamed again in the dark room. "What time is it? I need to go home. I have to go to work."
"Can you get out of bed? Huh?" Veronica Parker felt the hot breath of Nick Cage on the back of her neck.
"I can." Veronica Parker gritted her teeth.
Behind her, Nick Cage moved and looked at the clock. He said, "Three o'clock."
"Three o'clock in the morning?"
"In the afternoon."
Veronica Parker was so shocked that her body moved but she was about to stand and she suddenly felt sore and had to relax again.
Three o'clock? Afternoon? She couldn't believe it.
But Nick Cage didn't have to lie to her.
The curtains were added, there was no light coming in, and the room was very dark, so she didn't know the time.
She was late!
She never became late when she started working in the TV station, that was her first time.
Nick Cage's hand slipped to her shoulder when Veronica Parker was in a trance. She stiffened, she grabbed his hand and asked, "What are you doing?"
Nick Cage won't give up.
"I'm hungry. Do you have anything to eat?" Veronica Parker was busy looking for something.
It was difficult for her to get up, so she had to get Nick Cage out of bed quickly.
Who knew what he would do?
But to be honest, she was really hungry and her body was hollowed out.
Nick Cage let her go and turned on the lights. The darkness dispelled.
Veronica Parker closed her eyes and stared at the curtains.
Behind her was Nick Cage and he was telling her to prepare food for him.
Veronica Parker thought Nick Cage would get up after he had been told that he was hungry, but who knew he would stick his body over again and lay her flat.
Veronica Parker's eyes twinkled as they stared at each other.
Their distance was too intimate and too dangerous for her.
"When did you realize that you have me in your heart?" Nick Cage squeezed her chin, his voice was hoarse.
Veronica Parker was breathing steadily. 'Why did he mention that again?' She asked herself.
"I don't know. I just can't find you, and the days that I couldn't see you, you ran in my mind every damn time. So, I knew that I have that feeling in my heart. I've already explained to you that it's in the box and for Rachel to hear it. That time I went abroad with Toby, I come with him to clear my mind and my heart. I didn't come with him because I like him, but I came with him because it's for you. If I really had him in my heart, I would have gone further."
"You think I don't know your little mind? Huh?" Nick Cage's black eyes looked at her deeply, without the slightest sign of anger.
Veronica Parker was stunned, "Then, why did you still show up?"
"Even if I take the bait, you are not allowed to run with other men. Do you understand?" Nick Cage squeezed her chin with a slight force, with a warning in his domineering voice.
