Chapter 407 Torn Necklace
Chapter 407 Torn Necklace
"I'll take you there after dinner," Nick Cage looked cold.
"Daddy, we'll have a good meal!" Cathy said that and began to eat happily.
The other five children also ate obediently.
Nick Cage told the driver to ready the car after dinner.
Rolls-Royce was parked outside and the bodyguard opened the door waited for Nick Cage to carry the six children. Peter asked with excitement, "Daddy, I want to take the aircraft!"
Nick Cage looked down at the excited face of Peter without saying a word.
"Daddy, I want to take aircraft too!" Julie added.
"I also want to take the aircraft," Josh insisted.
"You can see Mom messing with Daddy when you sit on aircraft!" Cathy said.
"Is that okay, Daddy?" Lily asked positively.
"Daddy, " Daniel's little face was excited.
Bob stood behind him and thought it was not impossible to fly a little distance.
He looked carefully at Nick Cage's face, which was looked terrible.
"Take the plane!" In a moment, Nick Cage opened his mouth.
"Yes," The bodyguard closed the car door.
Nick Cage put all the six kids on the helicopter, and he sat and told the pilot, "One more circle."
"Yes."
The helicopter took off and flew to Veronica Parker's residence.
Bob said to Isabella who was next to him, "Mr. Cage adored his children."
"Yes," Isabella answered.
Every time she looked at the six little children who made all kinds of trouble in front of Mr. Cage, she was nervous.
After all, Mr. Cage didn't look like a good guy.
The children had a Mom and Dad. Isabella wanted the children to be happy.
"Miss Isabella, it's still early, so why don't you sit down and make a cup of tea?" Bob asked.
Isabella came back with Bob and said, "That sounds good."
Bob made tea himself and sat down with Isabella at the round table.
"Did Miss Isabella get anything from going shopping today?" Bob asked.
"I bought a necklace, and it was a gift from Veronica," Isabella said.
She unconsciously touched the necklace around her neck but felt empty.
She looked overwhelmed, and her eyes became dull even more.
"Are you not wearing it?" Bob asked.
"I'm keeping it, I'm afraid I'll lose it."
Bob smiled, "Miss Isabella, you care about Miss Parker."
"Yes, she was miserable when she was a child. Although I was not with her, I know she had a hard time. It was very difficult for her to study alone, go abroad and have children. Fortunately, she is a strong child," Isabella looked away and said with disappointment.
Bob looked sad at her and thought it would become worse if she knew what Veronica Parker experienced in Winter Villa.
However, as a servant, they could only watch Mr. Cage and won't talk about it.
For Miss Isabella, who was distressed by Veronica Parker, it was better if she didn't know.
After drinking the tea, Isabella didn't sit much, so she went back to her room.
When she returned to her room, Isabella sat blankly on the edge of the bed and had a nervous breakdown for the whole afternoon.
She covered her mouth and cried in a low voice.
She didn't want anyone to saw her or even heard her crying.
She touched her empty neck, and the necklace that Veronica Parker bought for her was not put away by her but was torn in the confrontation with Tom Parker. She didn't know where the necklace went.
She looked around but still, she didn't find it.
She thought Tom Parker took it.
Isabella was never married and never had children all of her life. For her, the shadow of her family made her afraid to get married. She didn't expect to be given by Tom Parker.
The more Isabella thought about it, the more she cried, and her body trembled.
When the phone rang, Isabella picked up the phone. When she saw the strange numbers above, she calmed down and answered, "Hello?"
"It's me."
A disgusted voice came, and Isabella scolded angrily, "You are a monster!"
