Chapter 476 I'm Leaving
Chapter 476 I'm Leaving
Veronica Parker waved to them, "All right."
Veronica Parker back to her senses when she couldn't see the figure of the six little children together with their teacher and Nick was there, stood beside her.
Although it happened last night, she looked for a chance to survive and not to mess with him again, "I'm leaving."
Veronica hesitated to raise her eyes because of what she said and then looked directly into the eyes of Nick that made her pupil moved back unconsciously.
Without a word, she turned around and left.
Anyway, she took the initiative to talk to Nick.
"Where are you going?" The low and cold voice of Nick Cage came.
Veronica Parker froze and looked back at him, "I'm going to the TV station."
"Get in the car."
Veronica Parker pursed her lips and said nothing.
After the command of Nick Cage, she went straight to the car.
It seemed that Nick was not worried that Veronica Parker would leave.
Veronica should not leave.
She didn't want to mess with Nick at that time.
The car moved steadily on the road, Veronica Parker and Nick Cage sat in the closed back seat.
Veronica Parker looked to the window, and Nick Cage's eyes fell on her which looked deeply depressed.
Veronica didn't feel that Nick worried about her.
The sight of Nick was in Veronica until she got on the car.
She looked relaxed, but the truth was she was nervous.
She was afraid to repeat what happened last night and what Nick Cage would do to her.
But she knew that no matter what Nick Cage did to her even in the car, she would not settle.
"You have nothing to say?" The silence was broken by the low voice of Nick Cage.
Veronica Parker looked out of the window and trembled, "What do you want me to say?"
She didn't want to say a word.
"So, you decided to never see the children again?"
"I want to see them, I want to be with them all the time and watch them grow," Veronica Parker spoke the truth. "You just won't allow it."
Nick Cage reached her out and grabbed the back of her neck. He stood in front of her and looked at her, "Are you still going to live there? No regrets? "
Veronica Parker's eyes trembled.
Nick Cage's eyes were cold and bad-tempered, and his emotional prevention made him breathe heavily. "Okay, I'll do it for you!"
Rolls-Royce stopped outside the TV station, Veronica looked at Nick Cage but he looked out of the car window as cold as frost.
Veronica Parker compressed the bitterness in her heart and went out of the car.
When she got out of the car, the door closed and the Rolls-Royce rushed away behind her.
She felt that Nick didn't want to see her at all.
Veronica Parker looked at the shadow of the car in the distance that quickly disappeared and she lowered her sight.
She knew that she would never see the six little children again, in the future.
In the TV station, Veronica Parker was distracted all day and made many mistakes in her work.
The director and producer talked to her and also comforted her like it wasn't Veronica Parker's fault but theirs.
She was embarrassed.
She should calm down and go to her work.
Fortunately, the next cute child who needed to interact with her, he was looked like Daniel except that he was a year or two older than him.
Veronica Parker's heart became a little more focused.
Half an hour later, the recording successfully passed, Veronica Parker and other staff members breathed a sigh of relief.
Otherwise, if there was no result for that day of recording, it would be a waste of hard work.
When she stepped down, Lucy Underwood brought her cell phone and said, "Host Parker, your phone. You said that if it was Tom Parker, I would bring it to you right away."
"Thank you." Veronica Parker took the phone, went out to the recording hall, stabilized her mood, and then answered, "What can I do for you?"
"The house has been settled in the villa area of Sunshine."
"When will you move in?" Veronica Parker asked.
"Sarah, Clare, and Elton will be over there within two days. I'll let you know when I move in but did you mention to Nick?"
