Chapter 526 Gentle Side
Chapter 526 Gentle Side
It seemed that their Mom was really inside. The people in the building wanted them to find their mother on their own.
"It was brave for these kids to come out looking for their Mom."
"They're so cute."
The seven little ones ran in and there were long corridors on the left and right. Peter's cute face looked from left to right and his little finger pointed to the right. "Here!"
Seven little boys ran to the back, and it was interesting for passers-by to look at such a group of cuties.
Around the corner, Peter, who was running in front didn't have time to stop himself and fell into someone's arms.
He lifted his cute little face and when he saw who the smiling person was, his big eyes suddenly burst into the starlight of excitement, "Mom!"
The other children behind him also saw their Mom and they started to pounce excitedly into Veronica's arms.
"Mom!"
"Mom!"
"Mom!"
"Mom!"
"Mom!"
"Elder Sister!"
Veronica Parker was no less excited than them, her eyes were hot, and hugged she them tightly. "Keep your voice down, don't let your voices be heard."
The six little ones pounced on her arms. What's wrong with this fish-eyed John Cage? He was as happy to see her as the six little ones.
Someone happened to pass by and looked at their way.
Veronica busily took to them to a secluded lounge.
She asked them, "What are you doing here? Aren't you at school? You're not sneaking out again, are you?"
"Mom, we came here on our own!" Peter said.
"I met an aunt on the way!" John said.
Veronica thought that the woman they met on the road brought them here.
It was too dangerous!
She had to talk to them, "Didn't Mom tell you to be obedient at school? What would I do if you run out and meet a bad guy?"
Daniel threw himself into his Mom's arms. His head was buried in her arms and his hands clutched Veronica's clothes tightly.
Peter said, "Mom, we're good! As soon as we looked for you, we found you!"
Cathy, "Mom, we missed you."
"I miss Mom, too." Julie.
"I want to Mom." Josh.
"I haven't seen Mom for a long time and Mom hasn't come to see us." Lily was aggrieved.
Veronica Parker looked at the tearful six little ones and felt a pain in her heart. It was as if someone was gouging out her heart.
She didn't mean to but she couldn't tell them about the pain in her heart.
Cathy asked, "Mom, are you fighting with Daddy?"
"Huh?" Veronica was surprised that she asked such a sensitive question.
"Did Daddy piss you off?" Cathy asked again.
Daniel's little head was finally raised and he and the other little ones looked at Veronica with twinkling eyes.
Veronica thought that hers and Nick's situation was more than a simple matter of quarreling.
"Doesn't Daddy like Mom?" When Cathy finished asking, the other youngsters only looked more depressed.
Veronica smiled and said, "No, neither. Mom is just a little busy at work."
She was asked to the point of embarrassment by a child.
"I see!" Soon, Cathy's bulb lighted up, "It's Mom who doesn't like Daddy!"
"Er." Veronica was speechless.
"No, Mom likes Daddy!" Lily pulled one of Veronica's fingers and said, "Mom will you come back with us to see the gentle side of Daddy?"
Veronica Parker has frozen once again. Gentle side? Who?
Besides their Daddy's uncertain attitude and moody personality, there was no gentle side!
As she looked at her kids whom she hasn't seen for a while, Veronica felt so happy holding her children again and smelling their sweet scent. Missing for such a long time was cured at once.
