She simply changed the subject, she was worried that Nick would be angry because of what happened. She said, "I do not understand why the children come to the TV station. Why are they not in school? Do you know how dangerous it is when they sneak out of school? I didn't expect you to take care of the kids like this. Don't you want to talk to the school? After all, Veronica was afraid of Nick. He won't do anything when the child was present. What about when the children were away?

Daniel ran up to Veronica and grabbed Veronica by the leg. "Mom!"

"Daddy." Lily's tears were falling while she was holding her mouth, wasn't that so pitiful?

Nick's facial lines were tight. "Come on, please."

No sooner had the words dropped than the bodyguard outside appeared.

"Send him away." Nick command.

The bodyguard looked up at John, among the children. "Yes."

He came forward and picked up John.

John resisted and struggled in the arms of the bodyguard, "I don't want to go! I don't want to go! I want to play with Peter! I want to play with Cathy! I want to play with Julie, I."

They could no longer hear his voice in the back. He was taken far away by the bodyguard.

Nick's sharp eyes swept to the children on the ground and said, "Let's go."

The little ones all looked at Veronica.

Veronica, who was enduring a sad heart, squatted down and touched Josh's crying face. "Mom hasn't finished work yet, go back with Daddy first and be good, will you? By the way, next time, don't run out of school, Daddy and Mommy will be worried, okay?"

Lily slipped down from Nick, ran to Veronica, and asked innocently, "Mom, don't you like Daddy's tenderness?"

The six little ones were immediately happy and ran to the door like a little penguin. When they got to the door, Cathy, who fell behind, turned around and said, "Mom, come quickly!"

Veronica barely smiled. How could she possibly go? She was lucky to see them unexpectedly.

Why would she be allowed to get on the bus together with the children?

Veronica Parker was still looking down when she heard Nick's low voice, "What are you still doing there?"

Veronica was stupefied and raised her face. It took a while to understand what Nick was talking about because it was unexpected.

"Wait! Give me a minute. I'll get my bag from the office. I'll be right there! " Veronica walked past Nick with joy.
