Chapter 793 Old Flame

"I remembered what happened to Isabella Hudson. You were involved, weren't you? I have a recording of our call here. Would you like to hear it?"

"You!" Chloe exclaimed in anger. "You actually recorded it?"

"Of course! I didn't expect that it would be this useful. Haven't you ever heard of someone is on the defensive? The main thing is I'm always on guard against you."

Chloe was exasperated that she tried hard to calm herself. "Do you expect me to believe you?"

Tom didn't hung up and just sent the recording.

"You can try Isabella Hudson. Didn't you want her back then? Isabella is very important to Veronica. Start with her and you can get what you want and no one will expect it."

Chloe burst out in anger and yelled at the person on the phone.

"Tom, you're a bastard."

"I already know that." Tom said sarcastically.

Chloe gritted her teeth and cursed Tom to die now.

How could she have known that Tom will take advantage of her situation and used it against her?

"Nick doesn't want anything to do with his family's company? He even turned a blind eye to his father. The most important thing you should be dealing with right now is Veronica. Instead of asking for my cooperation!"

"What am I going to do with her? Kidnap her? Now, why would I do such a thing?" Tom said sarcastically.

This was to get even with Chloe.

"But Nick almost bought Kevin's company before!" Chloe exclaimed.

"Almost. It means that he didn't buy it. Since he was unsuccessful the first time, he might still try it again."

On the way back, Chloe propped up her aching head. She tried every possible way without success and now she is at her wit's end.

She definitely doesn't want to work with Tom.

First of all, she was afraid of Nick. Secondly, Tom is her ex-husband.

She wasn't able to get Kevin's cooperation on this. Kevin does not want her to get involve with her ex-husband.

Veronica knows about the recording and she will never let that go.

Veronica was not afraid because she got Nick behind her. The man was ruthless and will do anything that is necessary to achieve what he wants.

Looking up, she saw a hospital and was reminded of Eden who had not yet awakened.

There was always a threat to her life as long as Eden was still alive. Eden was always threatening her and sleeping with her which annoyed her.

Maybe one day Eden will wake up and she will not allow that to happen.

Toby came out of the ward dressed up. He stood at the door and looked at the doorman's bodyguard. "I'm going to the hospital to see my father. Do you want to follow me?"

The bodyguards looked at each other and asked their superiors if they were to follow Toby.

Nick Cage said "No."
