Veronica decided to set up a trap. She has to make sure that the living room has a surveillance camera installed but well-hidden.
If anything happens to her in the living room, Nick will know immediately!
Veronica walked out of the room. There was no one in the living room and it was quiet.
She went to the coffee table and squatted down to pour water, behaving calmly.
From the door, there is a ripple and sound of pouring water. The sound insulation there wasn't good, so the servant in the room must be able to hear her clearly.
However, there was no reaction in the room when she came out.
Veronica put down the drinking cup and acted that she suddenly had a headache. Then, she shook her body and fell on the foam board, collapsed on the floor, and acted motionlessly.
In less than three seconds, the door of the room opened suddenly. With a feeling of eagerness and panic, the servant ran to the fallen Veronica.
"Miss Parker? Miss Parker? " The servant made her sit up and asked worriedly. "Miss Parker, wake up!"
"Hmmm." Veronica weakly opened her eyes, vaguely hummed, and asked. "What's wrong with me?"
"I don't know. Why did you pass out? What's wrong with you? I'll take you to the hospital now!" The servant said eagerly.
Veronica moved her weight away from the servant. She leaned against the sofa and held her forehead. "Maybe I'm a little hypoglycemic. Could you pour me a glass of sugar water?"
"Alright, I'll get that for you!" The servant was too busy and poured the sugar into the water.
Veronica sat on the foam board, leaned her back against the sofa as she sipped sugar water.
After she fell to the ground, the servant did not come out of the room normally. The servant just stayed with her to be Nick's eyes. She knew something had happened to her when she was still inside.
She was sure that there are surveillance cameras in the living room. Although she doesn't know where it was installed, there was no doubt!
This kind of thing can't be found, unlike the tracking device in the bracelet. The surveillance is being monitored all the time. The moment that she found the surveillance camera, she would find be exposed.
What she wanted was to play dumb!
"Miss Parker, do you feel any better? Are you still dizzy? " The servant looked at her nervously and asked. "I'll call Mr. Cage!" She's afraid to decide and informed her.
Veronica shook her head. "I'm not dizzy. I'd better go back to my room and get some sleep."
The servant helped her up, took her back to her room, helped her laid on the bed, and said. "Miss Parker, you must tell me if you're still uncomfortable, okay?"
"Mm-hmm." She weakly responded.
The servant went out and Veronica didn't know if she called Nick.
It wasn't long before he came to see her again.
Veronica didn't sleep and leaned against the bedside to get her cell phone.
She can still play with her cell phone, which means it's really all right.
The servant went out again and closed the door.
Veronica put down his phone with lingering fear.
Suddenly, she remembered something else!
