Chapter 875 Broken Glasses
Chapter 875 Broken Glasses
"I dare not speculate on Mr. Cage."
"Have you guessed less?"
"If you have anything to say, don't be shy."
Kay nodded slightly. "Everyone will be confused by another person whether it is a man or a woman, Veronica is very beautiful and has given birth to six lovely children for Mr. Cage. She is the most qualified and she is just right for Mr. Cage's taste. That is like killing two birds with one stone."
"Indeed." Nick was satisfied with Kay's answer.
Kay kept silent. He knew when it was time to speak and when he should not.
"Do you think there's anything wrong with what was said in the box the other day?" Nick asked.
"No."
Kay said all the answers he wanted but Nick's heart became duller and duller and he was feeling irritable. The hand on the back of the chair restrained its strength and the protruding veins on the back of his hand betrayed him.
Nick didn't say anything. Then, he turned and left the office.
He drove his Rolls-Royce back to the Winter Villa.
At that time, only Bob and the servant on duty was awake.
Nick got out of the car and went straight to six little children's room.
In such a big bed, the six little ones slept in a random position, each with a cute attitude.
Nick stood on the edge of the bed and looked at them who was sleeping.
The school called during the day to say that the children were trying to sneak out of school and were found several times.
Peter even called the police with Winter Villa's cell phone to blow up the school because they were not allowed to find their mother.
They caused many troubles and the school principal and teachers were busy because of it.
In this attitude, they were definitely like Veronica who was always unwilling to stay well and would always insist on messing with him.
Nick stayed in the room for a while then he turned and went out.
Instead of going back to his room, he went to the wine cellar.
The servant wanted to go in and assist him.
"Get out!" Nick's voice was cold and harsh.
The servants went out but they were all waiting outside the door.
Nick stood at the table with a bottle of valuable wine and poured it into an empty glass.
The amber liquid sloshed and tossed, he could not calm himself.
He sat down on the sofa and poured a glass of wine into his mouth and burning his throat. He was feeling bitter and irritable!
The cup in his hand fell out with a loud sound. It was so broken that he could hardly find the dregs!
The servants and bodyguards outside dared not to go in without orders, they were very frightened! Early in the morning, the door of the wine cellar was pushed open and a few small heads looked inside.
After he sat on the sofa all night, Nick who was holding his forehead in one hand and was closing his eyes didn't know whether he was asleep or not and he slightly raised his eyebrows when he heard the noise.
"Daddy!" The six little ones pushed open the door and came in.
"Don't come in!" Nick opened his black eyes. He was up all night.
He was drunk and he did not want them to see him. He was so frightened when he saw the six little ones was in the doorway with a look of grievance and horror.
Nick got up and walked towards them.
There were broken pieces of glass scattered all over the floor.
"Have you had breakfast?" Nick asked.
Peter just stood and he looked up at the sky.
Cathy asked, "Daddy, did you rest here?"
"Daddy doesn't like to rest anymore!" Julie said.
"I don't like it either!" Peter said.
"Daddy."
