Chapter 32
Without realizing it, lunchtime had arrived. When I was about to take Shelly to lunch, my eyes accidentally caught the figures of three women, who are now standing in front of my department room, as if looking for someone. As soon as they saw me, they walked quickly to my table.
"You were the one with Dominik, weren't you?" asked Natasha, one of those who protested in the lobby this morning about Dominik's decision, who took my hand, staring at me intently.
"What are you going to do Leah? If you dare to hurt Leah, I am sure you will regret it for the rest of your life!" threatened Shelly, who quickly got up from her chair and pointed her pen at Natasha.
All of my colleagues immediately came to my desk while giving Natasha and the two people behind me a threatening look. Meanwhile, the woman named Natasha was not at all affected by the gazes of my colleagues, who threatened the three of them to go away from me.
"Never mind, Shelly. It is okay. I can take care of this." I said, lowering Shelly's hand, which was still pointing the pen at Natasha.
"Is that okay to let you take care of those alone? What if they will do something bad to you, Leah?" asked Patricia, who was glaring at them. I shook my head, asking her not to worry about me.
Then I turned my gaze to Natasha and nodded my head. "Natasha. I want to come with you, but on one condition."
Natasha, who was staring at Shelly, now turned her gaze to me with her hands on her hips. "Depends on your offer."
I took a deep breath before I started to open my mouth. "I just wanted to talk to you one-on-one. No minions behind you." I said, pointing at the two people behind him.
She turned around behind her, looked at the two people who were still standing behind her like a minion, then looked back at me.
"I will not comply with your request." she replied with a mocking expression that somehow seemed odd to me. She immediately pulled me away from her with the help of her two minions. As all my colleagues prepared to restrain me from going with them, I raised my right hand, asking them to let me go with them.
"It is okay. I will be back later." I said before they dragged my hand away from my desk.
I just let their hands continue to drag me until I arrived in front of our currently empty office warehouse. Natasha then took the key to the storeroom, which she put in her coat pocket and opened the cellar door.
"Come in!" she ordered, then signaled the two women holding my hand to push me inside.
The three of them followed me inside and locked the barn door. My eyes looked busy observing the office warehouse around me at this time. This office warehouse belonging to the company I work for has absolutely no one in it, other than the four of us, who were currently in the warehouse with clear purposes that have nothing to do with the company. Around me, there are several shelves with stacks of documents neatly lined up. There was no dust on the pile of documents, indicating that every day someone came to clean the dust in this room so as not to damage the documents stored in it. Apart from the lighting, in this warehouse, there were no windows at all, which can at least reduce the gloomy feeling that was starting to come over me.
"Unfortunately there are no windows. Only walls." I said, approaching the wall behind me and gently stroking it.
"That is enough of your nonsense!" scolded Natasha, who seemed impatient with me. He immediately pushed me until my body hit the wall. I felt my back starting to ache while directing my gaze towards the person who pushed me earlier.
"You must be deliberately teasing Dominik to make him turn to you right? Come on, admit it!" she cried, tugging at my collar roughly. I immediately brushed off her hand and smoothed out my wrinkled shirt.
I clicked my tongue while staring intently at Natasha who immediately backed away as soon as she saw my gaze earlier. "I spent all the morning just ironing my clothes, and now it is a mess thanks to you. Apologize to me now."
"How dare you brush off Natasha's hand!" snapped one of the girls behind Natasha, whose name tag was Olivia, as she prepared to throw her slap at me.
Quickly, I held her hand that was ready to slap me earlier with a sly smile. "Don't expect you to slap me so easily, Olivia."
She looked annoyed and tried to take my hand off her, which of course, I did not let go of that easily. Before her left hand was ready to slap me, I immediately threw my slap on her cheek until she fell to the floor.
"You!" she yelled, rising from the floor where she had fallen, holding her cheeks which were red from the slap.
"Why? Do you want to cry? It is okay. No one saw but the four of us." I replied, glaring at her.
"You are totally outrageous!"
Olivia immediately got up and prepared to slap me again. I immediately dodged her slap by walking slightly to my left, causing her to lose her balance, and her body hit the wall with a loud sound.
"Ow!" I cried while covering my mouth. "It must really hurt, huh? Such a loud sound."
She fell to the floor sobbing because of her own actions. I lowered my hand that I used to cover my mouth and rolled my eyes with a bored face.
"It was your own mistake to fall for yourself like that. It hurts, doesn't it?"
"Shut up!" she barked, still sobbing. Another woman who had come with us immediately came to Olivia, who was still crying, and tried to calm her down. Then his gaze turned to me with an annoyed expression.
"How dare you do that to Olivia! I will not forgive you!"
I shrugged my shoulders. "Whatever. It is not my fault she fell like that."
My gaze then turned to Natasha. Her face looks angry to see what happened earlier as she clenched her fists. I let her continue to stare at me while waiting for what she would do earlier. Without hesitation, she immediately ran towards me and pushed me against the wall. I winced in pain as my back hit the wall again. Her hands prevented me from running away from her.
"Don't you dare to run away from me, Leah!"
"Rest assured. It is not like I am not going anywhere." I replied, putting on a calm face as if what she was doing earlier did not bother me at all.
She raised an eyebrow. "Huh? What do you mean?"
I pointed to her coat pocket, where she kept the key to the warehouse where we were at the moment. "You still have the key with you. How can I escape?"
She turned his gaze to where I was going, then turned her gaze back to me. "You are right."
"That is why, I can not likely run away from you. But instead..."
I did not continue what I was saying and grabbed both of her hands, pushing them around until we both turned around. Now it was my turn to stand in front of her with my hands locked so she could not move freely. Her expression looked annoyed at what I was doing, but I did not see her trying to get my hands off her at all.
"Why? Since you seem to like talking in this pose, I try to do as you like me to do with you. I am a really nice person, aren't I?"
"Who is a madman who wants to talk in a position like this?" she protested, trying to get her hands off me.
"It is you." I answered briefly, making Natasha even more annoyed with my answer earlier. "It is not comfortable talking in a position like this, is it?"
"Of course it is not comfortable to talk in such a position. But I don't want to be the one being cornered like I am now. I should be the one cornering you, not you."
"Oh, really? But there is also the benefit of me reversing our current position." I said with a smile on my face.
"What do you mean?"
I ignored her question and moved closer to my face until I was a few centimeters away from her neck. "I can approach you safely like this. If you want, I can make you feel things you have never felt before."
"Keep your face off of me, Leah. You bitch!"
I brought my face to his ear and whispered in the lowest possible voice. "Who are you calling a bitch? Could it be that you are actually a bitch, not me?"
