The temperature of the lava was way too high, frying right through Qingfeng Li's skin and leaving him in pain and agony.

He felt like a crab being slow-cooked to death; soon, he thought, he'll be ready to serve.

Qingfeng Li's arms and legs were scorched red, and he smelled like cooked meat from the lava.

Thank god Qingfeng practiced the Mortal Purgatory Body, a body-cultivation technique that allowed the self-cultivators' body to eventually become immortal, making it as tough as metal. Otherwise, he would have died a long time ago from the 8000-degrees lava.

Other self-cultivators would have melted into ash immediately after falling into this river.

Thinking fast, Qingfeng Li realized that although his entire body was in pain from the lava, once he began channeling the Mortal Purgatory Body technique, a mystical energy emerged from his body as if it were absorbing some of the temperature from the Magma River.

"Holy shit, I thought fish were only supposed to exist in water, not lava. I guess I can always learn something new," Qingfeng Li said aloud to himself.

The Fire Dragon's spirit suddenly voiced loudly in Qingfeng Li's head, "Hurry, run, these magma fish not only drink lava, they also eat people and self-cultivators."

Qingfeng Li cursed upon hearing the Fire Dragon's words, "Seriously? I can't believe they would be so shameless as to eat people. Why not just chug down some lava and call it a day?"

It was no surprise that these fish wanted to gobble Qingfeng Li right up.

The leader of the school of fish was 2 meters long, taller than most people.

Exuding flames, it looked at Qingfeng Li with greed and murderous intent in its eyes.

"There's a delicious human there, let's go eat it!" the leader shouted.

The magma spirit fish had cultivated for centuries and were considered spiritual demons, so they could speak the language of humans.

Thousands of magma spirit fish headed towards Qingfeng Li, each one spitting out flames, so they could burn him up.

Startled, Qingfeng Li immediately began swimming the other way. The flames hit his body and broke open his skin, causing him to scream miserably and uncontrollably as blood flowed out.

"Damn you creatures, you can spit out fire? Really scared the shit of out me." Qingfeng Li turned around and cursed at the fish.

Then, he began swimming away frantically, as he saw that the fish were not just spitting flames at him, but also shooting lava out of their mouths.

Angry, Qingfeng Li couldn't believe his luck that he would come across these fish after barely surviving the Magma Dragon.

Qingfeng Li was a fast swimmer, yet no matter how fast he swam, the magma spirit fish were faster. These fish had lived in the magma all their lives and were familiar with everything in and around it. Some of the faster fish had already swam up to Qingfeng Li.

"If you want to die, I'll help you." Qingfeng Li said to the dozens of fish that swam up to him.

In a heartbeat, he took out the Fire Emperor Sword from his interspatial ring and maneuvered his right wrist at the magma spirit fish beside him.

A sharp streak of fire shot out from Qingfeng Li's long sword, exuding dangerous energy. Creating a path within the river, the sword attacked the dozens of fish around him, slicing them all in half.

"You dispicable human, how dare you kill my people? I'm going to feast on you when I catch you." the leader of the school yelled in anger after witnessing what Qingfeng Li just did.

"You mutant fish, shame on you for not drinking water and drinking lava instead." Qingfeng Li turned around and shot back at the leader. Then, he continued swimming forward, while the magma spirit fish continued to chase after him.

All of a sudden, Qingfeng Li's eye froze at the sight of a beautiful woman down below the Magma Lake.

Washing herself at the bottom of the lake, she was incredibly beautiful and sexy, like a rose in bloom. Her skin was as white as snow flowers, and her hair was as red as fiery flames.

Her body was curved perfectly at the right areas, and she was exuding energy as hot as the sun.

As she was bathing herself she realized that a man was headed her way. With a frown on her face, her eyes turned red with fury.

There were various areas inside the Magma Lake, with extremely powerful ferocious monsters occupying each region.

Qingfeng Li was now in the middle region, occupied by this beautiful red-haired woman.
