Chapter 2010 - Finding the Burial Chamber

Led by the baleful spirit, Qingfeng Li and Linglong Xue continued forward. After a short while, they arrived at the site of a burial chamber.

The burial chamber was located inside a massive cave. The interior was several hundred square meters in area. Around the entrance, masses of white bones were piled up all around. The bones had all been turned to bone dust. However, one could still tell by their shape that these had been bones of giants.

Deep within the burial chamber, there was a casket. Like the one outside, this casket was also made from saint level materials.

Qingfeng Li and Linglong Xue had only been able to get here successfully thanks to the baleful spirit leading the way. If it had only been the two of them, they would never have been able to find this place.

Beside him, Linglong Xue's expression also changed. "Then what do we do?" she said. "If we don't decrypt the saint's array, we'll never be able to enter the cave."

Qingfeng Li smiled. "Don't worry, I've got a solution."

Dark Night Emperor knew that, in the Ancient Ages, the Yin-Yang Saint had been the ruler of his own domain. His fame and influence had been on par with that of Dark Night Emperor himself.

However, the Yin-Yang Saint had later crossed a powerful Immortal and had been hunted down and slain. If it hadn't been for that, it wouldn't have been so easy to kill the Yin-Yang Saint.

Twin beams of black light shot from Dark Night Emperor's eyes, lighting up heaven and earth. They shot into the cave before them and, after a short while, had located the defensive array's points of weakness.

"At the third point, sixth point, ninth point, and twelfth point…" Dark Night Emperor recounted the locations of the weak spots in array inside the burial chamber to Qingfeng Li.

Qingfeng Li smiled and thanked him. Then, he walked forward, activating the Dragon Blood within him. With waves of the dragon's cry, his Dragon Blood roiled within him. Then, it flowed into his index finger, forming the Dragon Bone, then the Dragon Scale.

Qingfeng Li knew that, in order to deactivate this saint level array, he must use the power of the Dragon Bone. With his own fist techniques and attacks along, he would not be able to break through.

Qingfeng Li's right forefinger jabbed forward, emitting a beam of white light. Traveling at extreme speeds, the light shot onto the defensive energy veil.

With a "Whoosh!" Qingfeng Li had pierced a large hole upon the third point of coalescence of the array. Immediately after, he also broke through the sixth point, ninth point, and twelfth point in sequence.

In just a short while, the powerful saint level defensive array was riddled with holes. It looked as though it was about to fall apart, like a partially burnt rag.

Finally, Qingfeng Li reached out with his index finger and, with a stirring motion, the saint level defensive array fell apart with a loud crack. The countless pieces scattered and disappeared.

A massive cave was revealed. Seeing this, Qingfeng Li and Linglong Xue exchanged a glance. They both saw joy in the other's eyes.

They knew that this cave must be where the Yin-Yang Saint meditated. Aside from his bones, it must also contain his legacy.

Together, Qingfeng Li and Linglong Xue walked into the cave. Inside, the cave exuded a kind of Yin-Yang energy, half black and half white. The two types of light were able to tear open even the dimensional barrier.

At the same time, he activated his Mortal Purgatory Body, which emitted a black light of its own. The gold and black lights, interweaving with one another, held the Yin-Yang light at bay.

Not willing to be bested, Linglong Xue also channeled her mysterious technique. This technique was taught to her by the Blood Sea Monarch and it formed a blood-red light over the surface of her body. Like a roiling sea of blood that threatened to submerge the entire world, it collided with the Yin-Yang light. The two were evenly matched.

Qingfeng Li gave Linglong Xue a strange glance. He hadn't expected the other's technique to be so powerful.

While Qingfeng Li and Linglong Xue walked further into the cave, a black devilish figure flashed across the entrance of the cave. It was Huozhu Chi, under the control of the Great Devil.

Huozhu Chi glared into the cave, excitement flashing in his eyes.

"Who would have thought that, following Qingfeng Li, I would find the burial place of the Yin-Yang Saint." He bellowed laughter. "The damned Yin-Yang Saint, a hundred thousand years ago you killed me and suppressed my soul down at the bottom of the cliff. Did you guess that I would lie in wait for a hundred thousand years before coming back to life? Today, not only will I obtain your legacy, I will also devour Qingfeng Li and Linglong Xue!"

Huozhu Chi's burning gaze shone with crimson bloodlust. Devilish energy rolled off him in waves as tadpole-shaped runes flowed from the devil markings. The whole sight was terrifying.

He took a step into the cave, trailing behind Qingfeng Li and Linglong Xue.
