Seeing this, the Sky-Breaking Monarch's expression changed. A hint of awe surfaced in his eyes. "How's this possible?" he said. "My Black Rapier is a half-step saint level dharma treasure. How DID you catch it with just your fingers?"

Qingfeng Li replied with a nonchalant smile, "Whoever said that you can't catch half-step saint level dharma treasures with your fingers? Isn't that what I'm doing right now?"

A cold gleam flashed across the Sky-Breaking Monarch's eyes. "I don't believe this," he said. "Your fingers are just flesh and blood. How can they be a match for a half-step saint level dharma treasure?"

Activating his vital essence, the Sky-Breaking Monarch emitted a massive wave of power. Twisting the half-step saint Black Rapier, he tried to pull it out of Qingfeng Li's gripping fingers.

However, Qingfeng Li's finger contained a piece of Dragon Bone and a Dragon Scale. These things held immense power and, try as he might, the Sky-Breaking Monarch couldn't draw his rapier back.

"Your Dharma treasure isn't bad," Qingfeng Li said with a smile. "It's powerful. But unfortunately for you, your opponent is me. Now, let me destroy this weapon of yours."

With the Dragon Bone within his right index finger, he exerted pressure upon the half-step saint Black Rapier. With a loud crack, the weapon snapped in half, the pieces falling to the ground. The half-step saint level talisman scriptures etched on its surface had all been crushed to dust by the suppressive power of Qingfeng Li's Dragon Bone.

The Sky-Breaking Monarch's expression changed. He backed away, staring at Qingfeng Li in awe.

"How could your physical strength be so powerful?" The Sky-Breaking Monarch's face was sullen. "It's impossible to break a half-step saint level item with just your fingers. Not unless your finger contains some kind of immortal level power or above."

Credit where credit's due, Sky-Breaking Monarch was highly intelligent. Being one of the Four Monarchs, he was naturally very worldly and knowledgeable.

He had known from the first glance that Qingfeng Li was no simple character. In addition, he HAd clearly identified the immense Godly Beast suppressive force emitted from Qingfeng Li's right index finger. This was a power that shook even him to the core.

He was sure that Qingfeng Li's finger must have contained some Imperial level or above power. Otherwise, with just physical strength, no self-cultivator would have been able to snap his half-step saint level dharma treasure in half like that.

Qingfeng Li smiled. "Correct," he responded. "My right index finger contains a supreme power. But I'm not going to tell you what it is. You can ask the Underworld Monarch yourself when you get to Hell."

Ever since Qingfeng Li had learned two of the Killing God's Laws and some half-step saint level Laws, his power had grown with astonishing speed. Now, he was at the peak of the Ninth level of the monarch realm, just a hair shy of the half-step saint level. All he was missing was a small epiphany.

Now, standing before the Sky-Breaking Monarch, Qingfeng Li did not feel a shred of fear. Quite the contrary. In Qingfeng Li's eyes, the other was only a whetstone with which he could hone his abilities.

In a whirlwind motion, Qingfeng Li's body shot forward, appearing before the Sky-Breaking Monarch in an instant. He activated the power of the Dragon Bone in his right hand once more and struck toward the Sky-Breaking Monarch.

The Sky-Breaking Monarch's expression changed. He sensed a phenomenal power emitting from Qingfeng Li's right index finger. It sent a thrill of fear down his spine.

The Sky-Breaking Monarch took out a long sword, 1.8 meters long and three centimeters wide. Etched on the sword's surface were two patterns, one black and one white, intermingled together. It emitted a terrifying energy.

Seeing this long sword, Mengyao Xu's expression changed. "Big Brother Li, watch out," she cried. "That's the Yin-Yang Saint Sword. It's a powerful weapon that ranks in the top three in all of the Crimson Fire Continent! It's a Saint level weapon!"

Qingfeng Li's face fell. He sensed a frightening power from this Yin-Yang Saint Sword, one that terrified even him.

Qingfeng Li had no doubt that, if his body was cut by this sword, he would be wounded. This was what his instincts told him.

In an abrupt motion, he backed away. Across from him, the Sky-Breaking Monarch's eyes were cold and mocking. Activating his vital essence, he lifted his Yin-Yang Saint Sword and stabbed forward, releasing a massive beam of sword energy.

The sword energy was composed of two colors, black and white. It represented the forces of Yin and Yang. With ravaging force, it tore through Qingfeng Li's clothes, revealing bare skin.

Qingfeng Li felt a sharp pain coming from his skin. Looking down, he found that there was a small cut on his arm, with crimson blood leaking from the wound.

Qingfeng Li's expression changed. "Saint level weapon," he said. "I never thought that your Yin-Yang Saint Sword could be a Saint level weapon."

Across from him, the Sky-Breaking Monarch roared in laughter. "That's right," he said, "I obtained it from a powerful Saint. You are a dead man!"

Qingfeng Li smiled. "Really?" His voice was thick with disdain. "You think that, just because you have a saint level weapon, you can kill me?"

With a tug of his will, Qingfeng Li brought out the Yin-Yang Sky Halberd. Upon its appearance, it tore a hole through the air. Even the Heavens themselves were afraid of the awesome power of the Yin-Yang Sky Halberd.

With the Yin-Yang Sky Halberd in hand, Qingfeng Li shouted across at his opponent, "Sky-Breaking Monarch, use your Saint level weapon! I'd like to see which is stronger, your Yin-Yang Saint Sword or my Yin-Yang Sky Halberd."

In a swift movement, the Sky-Breaking Monarch swung the Yin-Yang Saint Sword in his hand, cleaving the void and releasing a massive beam of sword energy. It came from above, slicing downward toward Qingfeng Li with enough force to cut him in two.

Qingfeng Li stood in place, unmoving, until the Yin-Yang Saint Sword's energy was right before his eyes. Then, he abruptly swung his Yin-Yang Sky Halberd.

Slicing through the void, the Yin-Yang Sky Halberd shot forth with twin beams of black and white light, colliding with the sword energy from the Yin-Yang Saint Sword. There was a massive boom as the entire dimensional barrier shattered. It fell apart, leaving a massive black hole, several thousand feet across.

Within the black hole, one could clearly see countless shards of dimensional debris flying in all directions. Vaguely visible within were One-Horned Demons and other ghostly creatures. The horrifying creatures all gazed out at Qingfeng Li and the Sky-Breaking Monarch, sending a shiver down both of their spines.

In the next moment, the black hole closed and a wave of savage energy flew toward Qingfeng Li and the Sky-Breaking Monarch.

Thump, thump, thump, thump, thump…

Qingfeng Li and Sky-Breaking Monarch were both forced back more than a dozen steps before they were able to catch their balance again.

Although the Yin-Yang Sky Halberd and the Yin-Yang Saint Sword were both Saint level weapons with power, their wielders, Qingfeng Li and the Sky-Breaking Monarch, had yet to become saints themselves. They could not yet command such immense power and so, unable to withstand the massive impact, their bodies were knocked back.

The Sky-Breaking Monarch's face darkened. He felt that the hand holding the Yin-Yang Saint Sword was trembling slightly.

"Saint level weapon," said the Sky-Breaking Monarch, staring at Qingfeng Li in shock. "I've never thought that your Yin-Yang Sky Halberd would be a saint level weapon."
