Kiss You Again
Marco sat in his office chair while reading the report file given by Joseph, his confidant. For the last year or so, he had assigned someone to observe and investigate Kimberly's movements while out there.
"Young Miss Sanjaya doesn't live in her house anymore. It's been about two weeks since she moved to the Apartment."
Marco furrowed his brows, but his gaze didn't move from the file in front of him.
"Are you sure she lives there now? I thought you guys would have a harder time keeping an eye on her. As I recall, the apartment really couldn't be entered by just anyone."
Joseph nodded. "But there's something important you should know too, and Miss Kimberly doesn't live there alone."
Marco's gaze shifted. He looked at Joseph's face questioningly.
"What do you mean? Who does she live with?"
"Your fiancee lives with the CEO of AlpaBeta now."
Marco smiled wryly after hearing Joseph's words. "So Kimberly lives under the same roof as Nicholas Alistair?"
Joseph nodded. "Since moving into Nicholas's apartment, we've also had quite a bit of trouble finding information and loopholes to bring Miss Kimberly. She always comes home and goes with him."
Marco looked at Joseph with a disgruntled look. "I paid you a fortune not to hear your moans, Josh!" Marco said, his face looking annoyed now.
Joseph smiled awkwardly, and then the man handed Marco an envelope.
"Our photographer recently captured some of the moments you might want to see."
Marco grabbed the envelope Joseph had given him and took the object inside. His eyes were fixed on each sheet of photos showing Kimberly and Nicholas's activities together.
"Can you explain what this is all about?"
"Those are pictures of Miss Kimberly having dinner with Nicholas' parents who just came from England. The other was when they were having lunch in one of those fancy restaurants."
Marco rubbed his chin lightly. His eyes were still busy exploring every picture in front of him. His mind was wondering what the connection was between Kimberly and Nicholas. Are they just co-workers, or do they have a special relationship? Marco clenched his jaw hard.
"Investigate them further. I don't want to hear complaints that you can't get information because he lives in a hard-to-reach place. I don't want to hear that!"
Joseph nodded in understanding. "If you want, we will bring Kimberly home as soon as possible."
Marco shook his head. "No need, just let her play outside. I'll take her home myself later. You keep an eye on her, report everything completely and in detail. Don't also forget to give me information about Nicholas Alistair."
"OkayOkay, sir, I will report everything quickly," said Joseph.
"Then you may return to work." Marco waved his hand, telling Joseph to get out of his room.

After more than a week's visit to Los Angeles, Cassandra and Robert Alistair are scheduled to return to England tomorrow. Therefore, today he specifically asked Nicholas and Kimberly to attend dinner together before their return.
"So tonight we eat together again?" Kimberly asked as she ushered the files into Nicholas' room.
Nicholas nodded. "Yeah, you get ready. After my work is done, I'll take you to buy a dress and go to the salon."
Kimberly frowned. "Buy a dress? To the salon? For what? Not yesterday. I just dressed normally. It's just an ordinary dinner. God, what's that bother?"
Nicholas looked nonchalantly at Kimberly. "Don't complain too much. Now finish your work. We'll be out in thirty minutes," Nicholas ordered as if he didn't want to be denied.
Kimberly pursed her lips in annoyance at Nicholas' attitude.
"You want a lot!" Kimberly muttered under her breath and then turned around to leave the room. "What did you say, Kimberly?" Nicholas asked when he realized his secretary was swearing at him.
"Forget it! It doesn't matter what I just said."
Then Kimberly came out, ignoring Nicholas, giving her a strange look. As Nicholas said earlier, Kimberly is now in a well-known boutique that doubles as a salon in a shopping centre. He had tried more than ten dresses, but none of them caught Nicholas' attention.
"How many more dresses do I have to try on? I'm so tired, Nick!" Kimberly protested. Her face looked very annoyed.
Nicholas chuckled softly. "I just realized that your face can be this cute when you're upset."
Kimberly chuckled, annoyed at what Nicholas said. "Odd! This time, let me choose the dress I'm going to wear tonight. You can sit and be quiet. Wait for me here."
Nicholas complied with Kimberly's request. The man chose to sit on the guest's sofa while playing on his cellphone. After nearly sixty minutes of waiting, Kimberly finally came and went straight to Nicholas.
"How do I look?"
Nicholas lifted his head, staring at the woman who had stood perfectly in front of him. For some time, he couldn't lie to hisself. Kimberly looked so beautiful in her glamorous Halter dress that accentuated the shoulders but still covered the chest. The makeup also fits the contours of her face. She let her brown hair loose, adding to the impression of being so graceful. Kimberly is always beautiful in every appearance.
"I admit you are gorgeous now." Nicholas looked at Kimberly's appearance. He was telling the truth now. Kimberly narrowed her eyes.
"I'm sorry I wasn't tempted by what you said. So that you know, I've always been beautiful. You're the one who's slow to realize it."
Nicholas giggled, amused at Kimberly's words. "You are too confident, Mrs Alistair."
Kimberly gasped at what Nicholas said. Uninvited, a blush suddenly spread across his cheeks. Even his heartbeat was not beating rhythmically.
"What did he say? Did I hear wrong? Mrs Alistair said?"
"Kimmy ..." Nicholas softly whispered, breaking Kimberly's thoughts. "What are you dreaming about?" inquired Nicholas.
Kimberly shook her head vigorously. "Nothing. Let's go now."

Before getting out of the car, Kimberly went back to check and tidy up the makeup she was going to make. Nicholas, who was beside him, could only shake his head at the woman's behaviour beside him. "Are you done?" asked Nicholas to confirm.
Kimberly nodded. "All right. Let's go down."
Then Nicholas went downstairs first then opened the door for Kimberly. He took Kimberly's hand and held her tightly into the restaurant.
"Make this all as natural as possible, Kimmy," whispered Nicholas as they almost reached one of the tables already occupied by the presence of Cassandra and Robert Alistair.
"Hi, Ma-Pa. Sorry if you waited. The road was quite congested earlier." said Nicholas.
Then after that, he and Kimberly sat on the chairs that had been provided. Cassandra smiled.
"No problem, Mama and Papa also just arrived ten minutes ago."
Then they talked to each other at length. From the discussion of the family, business developments and even Kimberly also did not escape the topic of their conversation.
"So Nick, when are you guys getting engaged and married?" Cassandra asked suddenly. Cassandra did not forget the discussion that had been delayed earlier. Nicholas reached for the glass of drink and took a slow sip. When he had enough, he put the glass back on the table. Then with a calm face, he answered his mother's question.
"Ck, what's the rush, Mom? Kimberly and I are still enjoying the peak of our careers," Nicholas said.
This time Robert Alistair stared intently at Nicholas. "How long are you going to make your Papa and Mama wait? You two are serious about this relationship, right?" asked Robert with a look of intimidation in his eyes.
Robert and Cassandra know the story of their child's love journey how Nicholas felt disappointed and hurt because of the wound inscribed by Briana, his former fiancé. He did not want their eldest son to continue to decline. That's why Cassandra always forced Nicholas to get married.
"I promise I will formally propose to Kimberly soon," Nicholas replied reassuringly.
"Earlier in the month, you and Kimberly have to leave for London," Cassandra said.
Nicholas furrowed his brows. "To London? The two of us? What for, Ma?" Nicholas asked, confused.
"You two are getting engaged in London. Mama's going to invite our whole extended family." "But, Ma---"
"No refusal, Nick." Cassandra cut in before Nicholas finished his sentence.
Kimberly looked into Nicholas's face, trying to find an answer to her anxiety. She was trying to win Nicholas' heart. But getting engaged so soon is also not the right choice.
She was afraid that Nicholas' parents would find out they were pretending.
Nicholas, who realized that Kimberly was confused, only gave a signal for the woman to remain calm and act normal. Because of the wrong action, his parents can know all the jackaroo they are playing.
"But how can Nicholas and Kimberly go to London, Ma. Who will lead the company in my absence?"
Cassandra shrugged her shoulders. "Don't worry, and Mama will call Jacob to ask if you and Kimberly can take a few days off to get engaged."
"Mom, but it's too soon." Nicholas protested.
"Choose a fiancé or get married right away?" replied Cassandra.
Meanwhile, Robert Alistair just smiled at his wife's overbearing attitude. Nicholas couldn't even move anymore to refute. Nicholas took a deep breath.
"Okay, I give up. It's up to Mama what you want. To be sure, Kimberly and I can only take three days off. Nothing more."
"Deal!" said Cassandra.
Kimberly and Nicholas could only sit limply, watching Cassandra, who was determined to unite them. Nicholas had regretted going to dinner this time. He thought, Mom and Dad just wanted to invite dinner as a sign of saying goodbye before returning to their home country. But in fact, this dinner was nothing more than a trap for him.
Now look, he can't move. I don't know what else he should do to thwart Cassandra's plans to hold an engagement party earlier this month.
Back to the apartment, Kimberly and Nicholas were busy with their thoughts. No words came out of their mouths until they finally arrived at their destination.
"Kimmy ...."
Kimberly averted her eyes. "Hmmm."
"Do you still want to help me?" Nicholas asked hesitantly before they got out of the car. Kimberly took a deep breath. He's just as frustrated now.
"What can I do? There's no other choice, right?"
Nicholas smiled at Kimberly's answer. Whereas before, he had hesitated, afraid that Kimberly would refuse to help him like before. Where else would he look for a suitable woman to work if that were to happen?
Nicholas looked back at Kimberly's face. Pay close attention without blinking. At the same time, the woman who is being watched looks uncomfortable due to her actions.
"What are you doing, Nick?"
Nicholas raised an eyebrow. "Watching your face. Now that I think about it, it turns out that you are indeed beautiful."
Kimberly snorted after hearing Nicholas' confession. "You say as if I was just an ugly duckling all this time. If I'm not beautiful, how could many men in the office make me their idol."
Nicholas chuckled at Kimberly's words. "Okay, I admit it now. You are beautiful. No wonder Edward is always trying to seduce you. But don't expect him to come near you. I will never let him. Especially if you become my fiancé."
Kimberly gasped again at what Nicholas said. Unknowingly, his gaze was enjoying the beauty of the brown net of the man in front of him. He thought he was drunk. Kimberly made him blush with words that he was not used to saying before. Kimberly immediately tried to normalize the look on her face, which she believed had turned red with embarrassment.
"Even I seem to be fascinated by the blush on your face." continued Nicholas.
Kimberly chuckled. "How do you know I'm blushing? It's not like the lights in this car aren't on, so it's impossible to tell what colour is being printed on my face."
Nicholas brought his face closer, making Kimberly a little embarrassed. Even his breath was warm against his face. "Who said I didn't see it?" said Nicholas while raising one eyebrow. "You're exaggerating, Nick. You're ----"
Not to mention Kimberly finished her sentence suddenly, Nicholas shut her lips. He was biting and sipping gently. Keep teasing until Kimberly unknowingly also replied to it. Enjoy every sensation that is caused. Nicholas and Kimberly were lost in the game for a long time.
Finally, Nicholas slowly released their lips. Kissing Kimberly's lips, Biting deeply. In fact, he seemed to really enjoy the kiss. Trying to catch their breath that was catching up between them. "Never mind the colour of your face. I can see the location of your lips." Nicholas whispered, making Kimberly blush again.
"Y-you are!" Kimberly stammered. Then she pulled her face away and got out of the car, embarrassed. "Kimberly, where are you going?" shrieked Nicholas afterwards.
"You embarrass me, Nick!" Kimberly replied without looking back. He continued his steps to enter the apartment unit. Temporary Nicolas couldn't help but laugh. His hand didn't stop rubbing his lips. "Your lips are sweet, Kimmy," mumbled Nicholas, and then he laughed at himself again.
