Pacing around the office with his hand across his back. He was so furious, and ready to attack anyone that provoke him at the moment.

"How dare him do that to me? How dare him" He shouted and throw his phone across the wall making it to crash into pieces.

"Sir, please calm down, and have a seat."mr Felix beseech.

"And how did you expect me to just calm down and fold my arms? Just how? When the foundation of my building is about to crumble to pieces. Everything have done just to have this building has collapse. Have you forgotten that was the reason why I killed Alhaji sufyaan and his wife, and the stupid man I sent to killed the twins came and told me he done the job perfectly. How dare him?

"But sir, you already have him killed too."

"Yes! But I wish I can even slide him into pieces now, from his grave. How dare him make a fool of me?" His voice echoed around the office.

Felix stood up and clap his hand three times and The office door swung open. A detective and two other police men walk into the office swiftly.

Alhaji Bala Ahmed was shock at the sight behold him. Mr Felix stood up and play the record of Alhaji Bala confession in side the office."

"Alhaji Bala Ahmed you're under arrest."A detective said, showing him his ID card.

"How dare you betray me this way? How dare you Felix?" Anger lace over his tone

"You're to remain silent__ for anything you said or do will be use against you in the court of law." A detective say and order the policemen to hand cuff him.

"Alhaji Bala your days are number from now on. Ninety Nine days for the thieve one day for the owner. Detective please take him away, he deserve to pay for all his evil behind that bar." Mr Felix smirk.

One of his gang was behind the door immediately they came out with him. He smile in satisfaction, he walk toward him "Alhaji Bala, the only powerful man with out any remorse. If only you gave me the money I asked of you, my wife could have been save, she could have survive it by now. But your greediness and selfishness make you refused, when you have it at the tips of your finger to give. Well I'm sorry to disappoint you today as your most trusted gang. This is my revenge for letting my wife die in that critical condition because of your selfishness. We shall both crumbled to pieces behind that bar.

"Please take them away," detective announced.

Finally she has made up her mind to meet with him again after she thought a lot about what shafiu as said last week.

She wore a red atampha skirt and blouse dress, something she rarely wore, and drape a matching veil on her shoulder. Taking her bag with phone she dash out of the room and wore one of her flat shoes from the shoe rag.

Since her parent were not at home, she used the opportunity to go out without been question where to. " immediately she open their iron door, she sighted shafiu leaning on his car, his eyes fully on his phone typing away. It make her remember the very first day they met, how he waited for them with Mina exactly that way, how Mina introduced them and how he was flirtatious the very first time, made her to smile at the memory.

"She has finally arrived, let get in" He said and walk to the driver side.

"Sorry for keeping you waiting" She apologized.

"I never complained. You're looking more beautiful in this your attire! Haven't seen you in one before?

"Thank you, yeah I only wore them on Friday mostly and You don't look bad yourself, your wife should be lucky to be seeing you in kaftan everyday." She compliment back.

"Oh I'm really flatter" He said

"Don't be, now get going" she said and put on her seat belt.

Immediately they arrive she lean back on the car seat not ready to even make a move.

"Are you nervous? He asked.

"I'm not sure, I'm just afraid to meet them like that again. I can't afford to bear it this time around." She said.

"Trust me, you won't. Now go, I will wait for you" He said, in a calm voice.

"She sighed, and walk out to the gate and knock.

The gateman open the door and let her in without any question. Immediately she enter inside, she saw sheriff at the car space ready to enter one of his car.

She swiftly walk toward him before he could lock the door. "What are you doing in my house?" He question.

"If you can spare me a minute let talk." She said quietly.

"About what exactly, should I say to a whore like you" He asked, sarcastically.

She swallow a num forming in her throat, shock evident was written all over her face before she asked." Sheriff you called me a whore?" She asked still in shocked.

"Are you still having the gust to asked me further? Did you think I won't know about what you're doing" He asked, through gritted teeth.

"Sheriff who told you all this?" She asked, stopping the tears.

"And who exactly did you think will tell me how you cheated on me. You better get out of my sight now" He retorted.

"How did I cheat on you?" She asked.

He fetch his phone out of his pocket and click on a photo and show it to her face" Are you still going to deny this?" He asked, has he show her a picture she was forcefully kiss.

Deejah was bewildered, her hand was visibly shaking as she hold the phone tightly " ho...how did you get this picture" She stammer, as tears filled her eyes.

"Are you surprise?" He asked again.

"Just answer me please, how did you get this picture" She cried.

"Mina send it to me, and of course you surely know she's your best friend who can't lie on you.

"What" She asked in disbelief.

"Mina? Ho..w did she even get that picture too? She asked.

"You better stop asking me any stupid question and get out of my house now" He said, pointing toward the gate.

"I'm highly disappointed in you sheriff, you disgusted me more than any human being could, did you really not trust me even for a second, did you really think of me like this? You even called me a whore because of this picture without further investigation or asking me?" She wipe her tears.

"That picture you saw, that man you saw, in there was the heartless man that rape me that very day, he was the one that took my dignity away. I was with Mina when he kidnapped me that very day. But still you end up calling me a whore because it was her that told you, you have sex with her for what? For revenge or to hurt me?" She sniff in. "I don't even know why I'm still wasting my time here with you" She said and choose to walk out on him when he quickly draw her back.

"I'm truly sorry" he sigh defeated. " I'm sorry I was so quick to judge, I never expect her to turn this way and I thought the only way to get back at you is by dating her. I'm sorry!" He exclaim, his eyes full of regret.

"I will never forgive you for this sheriff," She swore.

Tears slip out of his eyes, he wish Mina was just beside him now, he wish he could just killed her at the moment" How dare Mina fool me?" He mutter, fisting his hand into balled ready to punch in anger.

"Khadijah who rape you?" He asked, his vein visibly showing on his neck.

"And how exactly did you want me to know him? She retort back.

Trust me, Am going to investigate fully on it, I will find every fetail and get them punish including there accomplice. Mina most also have something to do with this" He said.

"Mina? I know she has done a lot to me in the past I can never forget but this is just too much, it can't be Mina. She will never hate me this way.

Did you still trust her after everything? He asked.

I do not trust her again but Still I know what she can do, not been an accomplice.

"So where did they posted you to, for your camp? Alhaji hamza asked Yushraf.

"That very far, will you like to be deploy back to kano?" He asked.

"If that what you want no problem, I will book your flight ready by next week, with five million naira inside your account and in case you need anything don't hesitate to call home please.

His phone rang, and was surprised to see an anonymous number when when he fetch it out. After the second ring, Abba asked him to pick it and he did.

"Asalamu-alaykum, I'm I speaking to Yushraf, the son of Alhaji Sufyaan Imam?" The latter asked.

"Walaykum-salam, yes you're speaking to him, any problem?" He asked surprisedly.

"This is your fathers lawyer, Barr. Abdulmalik.

"Barr. Abdulmalik," He called and stood up bewildered. " it been long, I hope everything is fine?" He asked worriedly.

"Yes, but can you come to my office this very minute? There is something very important you know" He said.

"Okay sir, just send me the address, I will be there in a jiffy.

"Please come with your twin sister too" He beseech.

"Sure I will" He said and ended the called.

"I hope everything is fine Yushraf. " Abba asked.

"That what he told me Abba but am worried. He was my fathers lawyer.

"I see, it must be something important, called fareedah this minute and go meet him. And make sure you don't drive yourself there, called Khalid or driver to drive" He warned

Her eyes was glue to TV but her mind was far from the scene, ever since she return back to Canada she will either be seen zoning out or tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Mum" Hafiz called, but no respond.

"Mum" Afzal called again and place his hand on her shoulder.

She flinch before answering." Yes what happen?"

'Mum we have been calling you, but no response. Are you okay?" Noor asked.

"I'm sorry! I was just carried away" She said and wipe away her tears.

"You've been thinking a lot mum and is not good for your health" Afzal the last born said.

"What did you want me to do then? Have not seen my niece and nephew for almost four years now and you still don't want me to think" She asked.

"Mum did you asked uncle jaafar about them?" Hafiz asked.

"Of course I did and he always shut me up, that they said they want to be on their own, and they even block his number. My instinct is just telling me there is something fishy I don't know, I don't believe that to be true and I can't find them. I even travel to kano but still couldn't find them" She said and sniff.

"Don't worry mum, I promise to find them for you insha Allah." Hafiz assure.

"And how did you plan to do that? Hajiya Salamatu asked her first born.

"Don't worry mum, I will book a flight to Nigeria and stay at a friend house in kano while I look for them insha Allah.

"Hafiz, I will follow you please" Noor beseech.

"What with this girl and Nigeria. Come did you have a boyfriend there? Afzal asked.

"Just shut up your mouth. I missed riri a lot, I really want to see her again and Yushraf too.

"I hope you all find them soon. But please don't let your uncle know about it, don't even visits them " she beseech

As soon has they arrive, they were directed to barr. Abdulmalik office were he was patiently waiting for them.

He stood up and welcome them immediately they enter inside his office. "You both welcome please have a seat" He gesture at the two seat opposite him for them.

"Thank you sir," They said and sat down. While Khalid option to give them the privacy and waited for them at the car.

"First and foremost, I most start with apologizing for my negligence. I'm very sorry! I'm sorry for what I put you true. Believe me, after the news of your parent death I came back to Nigeria three month later only to found your house on lock. I kept searching for you both for good three years but there was no any any news. Your fathers business partner came to me for the company document and I refused but after a while I thought about it and asked a private investigator to get me information about you two and he told me you're late three month after your parent.

"What" Reedah asked in disbelief.

"I'm sorry! Please. Here is your fathers document, including the house and every other things." Barr. Abdulmalik said and presented the envelope to them.

"You must be joking right? How will the company, car, house and every other thing return back when it already taken to recover our fathers loan." Yushraf asked.

Every of your question is answered here. Everything was fake, it was a signature of your father, his business partner forged and took loans. He was the same person that make you both suffered, he killed your parent through fatal accident and was aiming at both of you. If not for his secretary Mr Felix that has been watching his every move from the beginning he would have successfully killed you both." Barr. Abdulmalik uttered sadly
