54. The Insult

D's PoV

I left Karthik's office. My work here is done. I took my phone to call the driver to pick me up. That is when I got a call. Why is he calling now? I picked up his call.

"Hi Dhiwakar. How are you?"

"I'm good, Anya. How are you?"

"Good thank you. So, what’s up?"

"I'm near your office, Anya. Are you done with your work? I can drop you." he said.

"um... I'm waiting for driver uncle to pick me up Dhiwakar. Thank you for asking. I can manage."

"I'm down, Anya. Come down. I will drop you."

"um...okay. I will be down in another 5 minutes." I told him.

Why is he bothering. Pch, I went to his car.

"Hi Dhiwakar."

"Hi Anya. This is my friend, Amar." He introduced me to his friend. He was sitting in the back seat?

"Hi!" I waved at him.

"Nice meeting you, Danya." he said.

"Thank you for dropping me Dhiwakar."I told him.

He opened the front door for me. I got in. He started talking. I'm in no mood to talk or listen. I just smiled at whatever he spoke. When my home came, I turned to him to say thanks.

"Thanks, Dhiwakar." I told him while he hugged me.

He hugged me!? How dare he!?

"Dhiwakar, we are living in Tamil Nadu. Not in America. I don’t like these unwanted touches. Better behave yourself. And I'm not comfortable with you. Please don’t bother me anymore. Thank you for dropping me today. Bye" I told him, disgusted by his behaviour.

I didn’t wait even a second. I went in without turning back. Indecent fellow.

I went straight to our room to refresh. I literally want to wash away his hands on me. Disgusting idiot. I spoke what flashed on my mind. But now I feel a little bad for him. Now-a-days, it’s quite common for people to do friendly hugs. He did it just like that. I'm not used to it. Besides, I should have avoided it and told him a little politely. It now seems to me that I insulted him in front of his friend.

Pch, God, It’s all because of my stupid hubby. It's because of him I was not in a good mood. Hmmm, I did everything to prove Smirthi is guilty. Now it’s up to him to decide. Why do I always think that he will come to me? My husband is very irritating.

Huh! The first one month of the wedding will be the most incredible time for every married couple. But here, he is making it the worst part of my married life. It's already been one and a half months, we are married. But we are still in square one of our relationship.

I should not have stopped him on that day. From then on, he is not even seeing me. He comes home very late and goes very early. How long is he going to play this hide and seek game!?

"Why the hell did he drop you?" I heard him behind me.

"Huh! You scared me. When did you come?" I turned to him.

Rishi just entered our room. I was engulfed in my own thoughts that I didn’t see him. I jumped when I heard him growl. He came near me and towered me with his whole height. I cowered under his gaze. Why is he angry?

"He called me when he was near my office. He offered to drop me home. So, I came with him. What's wrong?" I asked him. I am tired of his baseless accusations and anger.

"He can hug you and you can do the same. Nothing is wrong. Are you really ignorant or acting like one? Can't you identify a man's intention? How dare you let him hug you?"

He held my arms as usual in a tight grip. Nowadays I'm going numb in those areas. I feel no pain now. So, he has been watching it all. He must be behind us.

"I asked you a question. Why do you think I send you a car everyday?"

God why does his yelling turn me on? I clenched my thighs together to stop that tingling feeling between my legs.

"Pch, Rishi, let go of my hand. He just helped me. Why are you making it big? I didn’t let him hug me. He did it anyway. I told him I'm not comfortable doing that. Besides, why do you even question me, Rishi? You went to Chennai with Smirthi for two days. Did I question you on that?" I asked him. If he is angry then I am angry too.

He left my hand. He ran his hand on his hair. Wow how can he be so sexy when he is angry. I really want to straddle him and kiss him senseless. His muscles ripple against his shirt. He turned away.

That is when I did the most unexpected stupid thing. I hugged him from behind. I slipped my hand in his shirt between the buttons. I touched his bare chest. I run my hands on his chest. He clutched my hand and swirled me around. I was now standing in front of him. I cannot ignore the heat and tension in the air between us. He pierced my heart with his eyes. I am not going to stop him this time. I was already wet and ready for him.

Dhiwakar's PoV

She insulted me in front of my friend. I never thought she could talk this harshly to anyone. She is not what she looks like.

"Haha! What is this? You said she is going to get divorced and marry you. But she doesn’t even let you have a friendly hug. And above all, she said she is uncomfortable with you. Are you really going to marry her?"

Amar laughed at me. She can't do this to me. She will pay for what she did. She is not going to get her life with Rishi. I will for sure ruin it. I will do anything and everything to marry her. Her life is going to be hell. I never spoke anything to Amar. I dropped him and called Smirthi. It's time to make their gap even bigger.

"Hello, Smirthi, I will send you a picture now. Get a printout of it and go to Rishi's home. You will know what to do when you see the picture. Make sure everyone is present before showing it to them. You must be very convincing about what you say, because Rajashekar and Ravi won't believe anything you say. You have to make them believe. This is the only chance to make them hate each other. I want her and you want Rishi. Don’t mess up!" I told her.

"Ok Dhiwa, I already made him busy last week. We even went to Chennai together. We made appointments with the doctor for my surgery. My surgery date is fixed for next month on the 23rd. He spent his weekends with me. He is very caring to me. Never once he lost his cool on me. I love him so much, Dhiwa. I need him. Send me the picture. I will do whatever it takes to part them." she said.

"Will send it now. Don’t do prints on paper. Make it a clear photo print. I'm relying on you Smirthi. Beware, Call me once your job is done."

"Sure Dhiwa, Bye."

You made some mistakes in your life Anya Darling. First, you married that sucker when I laid my eyes on you. Second, you started loving him despite knowing he is in love with another girl. Third, you let him touch you but not me. Fourth, you insulted me in front of my friend. You will pay for your every mistake, Dear!

Rishi's PoV

She is going to be the death of me. Her soft hands on me made me hard against my pants instantly. That is her effect on me. That is how much I want her. But nothing is alright between us yet. She is making it hard for me to stay away from her. This shouldn't happen here. I have it planned! I brought her to my front. I palmed her face with both my hands.

"Listen to me, baby! You are making it impossible for me to not touch you. When I progress, you stop me. When I try to move away, you hug me!? I don’t want to make you feel cheap again. Now, if I ever see you with Dhiwakar again, I will not spare you!"

I started softly but ended with a harsh tone to divert myself and avoid that cold shower. I could not stand to see him hug her. I totally want to punch him hard and yell at her for letting him touch her. But I already made a mistake by not trusting her. I don’t wanna hurt her again.

How did she know about my Chennai trip with Smirthi? I just spoke to Karthik about that. She already left when I reached Karthik's office.
