61. The Flash Back

Kishore's PoV

The girl came by the door and started shouting at Rishi. I don't know what else this idiot has done. Looks like they know each other before. He stands like a statue.

"Excuse me, madam. Please calm down. There’s been some misunderstandings. Now Danya is at Archana's home. If you know her, please tell us her address." I asked her.

She looked at me like an alien.

"Have you not heard a word I said? This man brought his wife along with another girl to my shop. But he behaved as if he didn't know her. The other girl behaved like he was her husband and this man never objected. What else would he not do to her in their home? If she decided to go away, then I think it's for her own good. Why should I tell you about her whereabouts?" she spoke to me fiercely.

Looks like he really messed up. I nudge his shoulders to bring him to earth. That is when someone knocked on the door again. A handsome man came in.

"Anna, Danya is lost! He made her run-away. We have to go to the police station." that girl spoke to him.

Ooohhhh! Her brother.

"Pavi wait, What's happening? Hello sir, I'm Pragan. What happened to Danya? Where is she?" He introduced himself to us.

"Hello Mr. Pragan. Please Ms.Pavithra. I know I made some mistakes. I'm in love with my wife. I need to see her. Please help me!" Rishi spoke after a long gap.

I was taken aback! Never in my life have I ever seen him please someone. I totally understand how much he loves her.

"Pavi, If you know where she is, tell him."

"Anna, he is not the good guy."

"Pch! Pavi, Don’t you want your friend to be happy? She loves him too much. I saw her last week. She was the one that helped me escape the fight. She spoke to me about her love to divert me. She also recommended me for a job at Firm Fort constructions. It's common for a couple to have misunderstandings. He is now ready to solve them. Tell him what you know!" Pragan said.

She huffed and looked at Rishi with fury in her eyes.

"Archana is our neighbor. Third house from Danya’s grandpa's house. We are going home now. You guys can come with us. But remember, if she is not there, I'm sure, going to the police." She spoke with a warning.

Without wasting a second, we barged out of my clinic and ran to his car. They had a two wheeler. Rishi asked them to go as he knew Danya’s grandparents’ place.

Rishi's PoV

I'm now driving to Archana's home.

I can't explain what Am I feeling now. I'm now ready to even fall at her feet to compromise her. I'm now ready to place my heart at her feet. I have done immense damage to her. I hurt her so much. Though I love her, I didn’t put my trust in her first.

When I put my trust in her, I again hurt her without knowing the complete scene. Her eyes! I need to see her. I'm now ready to give her anything to make her accept my apology, except for divorce. I'm not letting her go. She belongs to me. Only me!

Flash Back

Scene 1

I reluctantly got ready for my new school. This new place is nice. But it's so hot here. Coimbatore's climate is the best. Everyone at my class now will be junior to me. I can't even make friends here. Lucky that Kishore is with me.

We got on my bike and went to school. When I was about to go out of the cycle stand, I saw a girl taking out air from a cycle sneakily. She stood up and corrected her dress and went out of there like nothing had happened.

I smiled to myself looking at her. It gave me a happy start for the day. I don’t know why, but her mischievous eyes and the winning smirk were so adorable, and it stuck in my Heart.

Scene 2

After school, I waited at the cycle stand, sitting on my bike to see her. But she never came. Everyone left. When I was about to go out of the school gates, I saw her standing under a tree and crying.

She wiped away her tears with the back of her hands and was looking at the gate. She was adorable. She was all red on her cheeks and nose because of all the crying. No one was there except for me and Kishore.

Our school campus had a teacher training institute too. When I tried to approach her to help, the teacher training students came out. One lady caught her crying and asked her something. They spoke for a while and she took her inside school again. I waited for her to go. After 20 mins, a car came by and she ran to him. Looks like her dad. She hugged him and cried. Poor girl. I went home after her car left.

I loved the child in her. She must have missed her pick-up to home. She must be in 7th or 8th grade. But she doesn’t know to go home alone? I found it so cute and pure!

Scene 3

I had the habit of looking at her during mornings and evenings. Some days I won’t see her in the morning. But I never missed her in the evening. She comes and goes in an autorickshaw.

One day, I sent Kishore to her to ask for her name. Since we are big boys, we actually didn’t have any fear of teachers.

But when he asked her, her name, she was totally terrified. She told her name and ran away. She was so innocent and naive that she said her name to a stranger. But I love that innocence in her!

After a week, there was a circular to our class. It said, there is a talent show at noon and whoever likes to display their talents can register their names. It also said, newcomers are most welcome.

I'm 2 years older than everyone here. I really don’t wanna give my name. But we all went to the school assembly hall to see the talent show.There were many participants. It was boring. They called up a name, but the girl didn’t come on stage. She was too shy. The fine arts teacher called someone, and that was my girl. Wow, She is close to the dance teacher? She must be good at something. I waited for what to come.She ran to the back of the stage and came out in a jiffy with a change of clothes. She is now in a colorful salwar, I guess. This song started playing and she danced so gracefully. I totally loved it. That song had a dialog in between.

"What's the charge?

He stole my heart! He stole my little heart, your honor!

Is it?

Yes, you honor!

She pointed her index finger at the crowd when it said, 'He stole my heart!'. Her finger pointed at me, and her eyes looked at me. I felt something happening inside. It was so enjoyable. She was the best dancer I have ever seen.

I don’t know why, I got angry when the crowd shouted 'once more' for her performance.

Scene 4

Our days passed by, me looking at her and she was not aware of it. Sports day came. She was in the yellow house and I'm in the red house. I heard that usually one of these two houses will take the over-all trophy. I'm good at sports.

I won in javelin throw, running and long jump. I felt so stupid in participating with people lesser in age. But I did it anyway because she was peeking in the crowd. I wanted to be noticed by her.

But whenever I won, she had a sad face. So, I decided to let it go in the high jump. But when I fell down, she gasped out loud. When I looked her in the eye, she looked at me too. She had wide eyes and a scary face. She looked at my knees and made sure I was ok. Her concern for me made my heart warm. Her friends took her.

With my points, our house came up on the scoreboard. She sure is not happy about it. But I got noticed by many girls!
