65.The Irresistible

Rishi's PoV

It was already 11.30 when we reached Archana's house. I want to see her. That little innocent girl is now my wife. She is the same now. I knew she liked me back then. I know she loves me now. It's all me who is to open my heart to her. I don’t know if it’s already late. I'm going to do it anyway. I will accept any punishment she is going to give me.

"It’s almost midnight. I don’t think it's wise to knock on the door now." Kishore said.

"I don't care. I need her." I rang the doorbell. Pragan too came along with us to introduce us. We don't wanna freak the people in this house. A man of my dad's age opened the door.

"Who are you? Pragan, what's going on?" he asked, looking at us and Pragan.

"Uncle, please let us in. He is Danya’s husband." Pragan said.

That uncle had a smile on his face looking at me and let us in. I am now afraid. How will I face her?

"Sit down maapillai(SON IN LAW)! Danya is with Achu. Hope they slept." he told looking at me. He is speaking to me in a nice way. Has she not said anything to them? His wife came with water. I felt so guilty that I disturbed their sleep.

"Um... sorry to disturb you all at this hour. But I need to see my wife." I told them.

"Haha. It's ok maapillai, She said you will come before 8am tomorrow. But you came way before her estimated time. We are happy that you love her more than she thinks." Her friend’s mom said.

She knew that I would come in search of her? She expected me to come and take her. She just wanted me to come to her. So, they knew we had a problem. But still they treat me with utmost respect. They address me like family. Danya has very loving people around her.

"Shall I see her now? I want to talk to her." I said with guilt.

"No problem maapillai. Wait let me get Achu out. You can go in to talk to her." Aunty went upstairs.

"Mapillai! Whatever the situation may be, you should not raise your hands on a girl. She is so precious to her family. She stopped me from calling her family. Or else you would be talking to them now. Aakash is very possessive of her. No one has ever raised their voices at her. Think before you do anything. That way you can avoid these misunderstandings!" he told me.

I felt so ashamed of myself. They are just friend's family. They had so much love towards her. But I behaved so low. I just nodded my head to him.

"Oh, it's you who made her mad?" a girl came down the stairs with sleep in her eyes. She must be Achu. She looked at me. I looked back at her puzzled. What has Danya said about me to her?

"You are so lucky to have her. Don’t you dare mess with my friend again." She spoke to me with her index finger raised at me.

"Achu!" Her parents stopped her.

"The first room upstairs. She is awake." Archana told me and turned away.

I ran upstairs. There she is, as sexy as ever in a tank top and little shorts. She stood up looking at me. She is shocked. Her cheek bears my handprint. I just wanna crush my hand. I'm a monster.

I just want to go hug her. But I have no courage. I can’t see her in the eye. I'm afraid for her reaction after all I have done wrong.

"Rishi" I heard her whisper!

D's PoV

When I said his name, he stood still. But still he is looking down. I took a step towards him. He cleared his throat. I found it so cute. I know he is struggling to make conversation with me. He is guilty for his acts and is afraid to face me.

Awwww he looks like a kid caught eating chocolate. I just want to crush him in a hug. But it's so interesting to see him. I just want to know what he is up to. So, I stopped with one step.

He came to me and stood close but still not looking me in the eye. He took my hands in his hands. He knelt down on his knees near my legs and put my hands on his eyes.

I was taken aback by his sudden move. I felt something melting inside me. I knelt down and pulled my hands away when I felt moisture on my hands. He can’t cry! I cannot do this to him. I pulled him in a hug. He hugged me back and rested his head on my shoulders.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry! I'm really sorry. Please forgive me. Don’t hate me. I'm not letting you go. I will do whatever you say. I’m not giving you divorce." he said cupping my face in his palm.

"Whoa! Who told you that I'm going away leaving you? You can’t be happy just like that."

He jerked away and looked me in the eye. He is unsure of what he heard.

"What did you just say?" he asked me.

"I said I Love You!" I smiled at him. We both had tears ready to shed in our eyes. He smiled at me too.

"I love you! I love you so much!" he palmed my face and caressed my cheek which has his fingerprints. He kissed me all over my face with numerous sorry and love you. I felt like I was on cloud nine. It feels like my life's destination has been reached. I want nothing more than this in this world. Hearing him say that to me is just like a dream come true.

"I'm so sorry for this. I really didn’t mean to hurt you! I... I'm stupid!" He traced his imprints on my cheek.

"Hey! Come here." I called him close.

"I actually loved it!" I winked at him. I saw him relax under my touch. He looked at me puzzled.

"You loved what?" he asked with no clue.

"I loved it when you slapped me with anger. It was so sexy!" I told him pulling him towards me with my hands around his neck. Oh, he doesn’t have to feel sorry for that sexy slap.

"Are you for real? You are impossible and irresistible!" He closed in the gap between our lips.

"Aahh!" He moved back when he gripped his hand on my waist. That is when I saw his hand. It was bandaged.

"Hey! What is this? What happened?" I asked him.

"Pch! That's nothing, Are you not angry with me?"

"Who said I'm not angry with you? I'm almost on the verge of killing you. How dare you hit me in front of that bad girl friend of yours? You can do whatever to me when we are alone. Not with the audience. I have a whole list of punishments for you. Your punishment is life-time, Rishi. You cannot just escape with just one. Now shall we get up? My knees Hurt." I told him.

"I'm so sorry baby. This won’t happen again. I promise to treat you the way a queen should be treated. You are the queen of my heart. I'm happy for that life-time punishment!" He lifted me up and put me on the bed.

"I have something for you." He said.

He went out of the room and brought a chocolate bouquet of kit-kat. KIT-KAT!!?!??!?!?!Omg! He knew? NAh-huh! No! No more assumptions.

"um... Why Kit-kat?" I asked him unsure.

"Because my little angel in white Sharara loves kit-kat and she gave me one on her birthday. So, I thought it would be an idle gift for my love." he raised his eyebrows with that same winning smirk.

"Rishi!" I squealed!

"You remembered? Idiot! You troubled me so much. I knew you loved me. But I also knew you didn’ t recognize me. Every time you hurt me, I feel bad that you don’t remember me as much as I do. You just time passed with me in school. Aren't you?" I pouted at him.

"I love you sweetie. I'm madly in love with you. I literally love everything you do. I love everything about you. You have no idea how I feel for you. I love you from the bottom of my heart. I love you to the moon and back. But I have loved you since the day of our wedding. The shocked look on your face when I turned to see you, I have gone flat! I mistook that shock as you didn’t like me. That is why I went away saying no. But when you said yes, I didn’t know what I felt. That was love, baby! It is love at first sight for me. Back then, I admired you! I liked seeing you. I remember every small incident we shared in our school. But I don’t know if it was love. I still remember the first day when you pulled out air from a cycle-tyre, your talent show dance, your annual day dances, Your science exhibition project, your birthday dress, your yellow house, your shy smile, your auto, your all the best to me. Every little thing! Please don’t be mad, but as time moved on, your memories were pushed to the back of my heart! I'm so sorry!" He spoke long, reminiscing every bit from our old days.

I forgot to blink my eyes. I even forgot to breathe. I knew it. I knew he had the same effect I had on him. That vibration in my heart, it's unexplainable. He felt it too. We are made for each other. He sat on the bed and pulled me on his lap. I rested my head on his chest. My home!

He remembers, he remembers everything. He has not forgotten me. He knew me from the very first day of 8th grade. He saw me on the first day. He saw me in the talent show. I'm a practical girl. I know it's kinda impossible to recognize a grown up girl with whom you just shared looks when she was in her adolescence. But he remembers every single thing. Do I want anything else?!
