When she went missing - I
116. When she went missing - Trigger Warning - Implied Rape
🖤🖤🖤 West 🖤🖤🖤
Everything is dark and blurry…
Pungent smell of blood and urine is all over the place. I can hear someone sobbing. I blink repeatedly, trying to focus. Dread sets in my heart when I realize it’s Riley.
How? What happened?
I know it’s her.
I am trying to think and turn my head to look for her. I heard her scream.
Fuck they got hold of her…
My head is throbbing as I conclude the obvious. I can feel my t-shirt soaked with blood.
Was I hit that hard?
I try to make out my surroundings. We are in a dark basement, and I am laying on the floor. Not tied.
Not yet, at least.
“Riley…” I call her out in a weak voice.
She doesn’t answer.
Will she ever forgive me for this? When I finally spot her in darkness, my heart clenches and I find it hard to breathe. She is shrank in a corner with her knees pressed to her half naked body. Her face is buried in her arms.
I try to get up, but my body doesn’t cooperate. My vision blurs again with tears of helplessness. I remove my t-shirt with extreme effort and throw it at her.
“I will figure something out,”I tell her in a hoarse voice.
She picks the t-shirt with shivering hands and wears it.
“Are you okay?” That’s a stupid question…
“Did they?” This isn’t the right time to ask this.
She still doesn’t answer.
I wish I could get up and just hug her for once.
“They will sell me off… ” she says finally.
“It won’t happen. I wouldn’t let it happen,” I promise as I fade into darkness again.
….
Cold splash of water on my whole body jolts me back into consciousness. It’s very late at night.
“Judgment time! Get up!” A man says.
I move my limbs. Finally, my body is coordinating. I look around and cannot see Riley around anymore.
“Where is she?” I ask, dread setting in my heart again.
“You don’t get to ask questions… Quite a nerve. You have to mess with Boris,” He hisses at me.
Boris…
I had refused to work for him. I was fucking polite and nice about it. He had asked to meet again anyway. The fucker said I had a choice.
Is he the one trying to trap me?
It doesn’t make any sense. It’s absurd and childish to blame a stupid theft of a package on me.
“She has nothing to do with all this… Where is she?”
“Don’t worry.. she hasn’t been touched…” He adds after a pause, “Yet.”
I swallow thickly as he says, “Boris will decide what’s fair punishment for you.”
“It’s a fucking trap.” I say.
I am not sure If I can prove it. But I have to do something.
He takes me out through a labyrinth of passages towards a heavily guarded room. There are a few guards and Caleb. I want to snap his neck.
Boris isn’t here… but his son is…
Maxim. He is a few years older than me.
My blood boils as I see Riley limp in his arms. She seems drugged.
“She is my girlfriend… Keep your hands off,” I warn him. He grins and ignores me, which is not surprising. I am beaten and bruised waiting for an impending judgment. I don’t exactly have much of a choice.
I have met Maxim twice and knew soon enough that it’s better to keep my distance from him. He is like a rabid dog who can bite anyone for no reason.
Unpredictable as fuck.
I cannot show weakness in front of him.
With Riley on the line, I have to be damn careful.
“Oh, I know… that’s why I havn’t fucked her yet…” He says while stroking her thighs.
“Although Caleb insisted you guys broke up…” He adds with a nasty smile.
I am glad she is barely conscious. All this shit will traumatize her.
“Where is Boris?” I ask.
Maxim doesn’t hold any power.
He scowls at me and says, “I think I should break you before he questions you.”
“Don’t you think you should surprise him by questioning me first?” I try to lure him.
I see a flicker of annoyance on his face and he slips his hand higher to grope her breast.
“Nice assets she has,” He says.
I bite my cheek to stop myself from reacting and say lightly, “I thought you weren’t into used toys…”
He laughs, “Well, that’s right.”
He sets Riley on the sofa. She stirs and blinks at me. Her expression is dazed.
Did she hear me?
His expression changes and he says, “Although I do have something in mind that could be quite entertaining and set you in place. I feel you don’t respect me enough, West.” His voice tightens as he accuses me.
I want to scoff at him. Respect isn’t something you demand.
“Dad doesn’t like this kind of stuff, which is a disappointment,” he adds. “This is why it must be over before he comes back…”
It is ironic.
He wants to get noticed by Boris, but still does things behind his back.
Scared, like a little child.
Although I don’t want to know what Maxim is plotting that even his father will disapprove of.
“Caleb is trying to set me up.. I can prove it.” I come to straight to the point, in hopes of avoiding his sick entertainment session.
“Shut the fuck up.. He didn’t ask you anything,” Caleb spats, throwing a punch in my gut. I block and throw a right hook into his jaw. He stumbles and it doesn’t take me much of an effort to pull him into a chokehold.
His men try to pull me away from him, but I am determined to break his neck right now.
“Oh for fuck's sake!” Maxim pulls a gun and draws at Riley’s head.
