Caroline started feeling restless all of a sudden. She could sense that something wasn’t right.
“Mamma!!” Artin’s words diverted her attention. “Stories, pleaseeeee.”
“Then you will sleep, right?”
“Yes,” Artin said, nodding his head.

‘She is not my mate.’ Artemis kept telling his mind and stepping behind the fake Caroline. At the same time, she was walking toward him with a smirk on her face. Immediately he stumbled and fell on the couch.
“I had to give you wolfsbane so that Bolt won’t attack me.” Artemis heard a familiar tone, and he sneered, looking at the fake Caroline.
“Isabella Lewis.” He called her name with so much hatred and disgust that even Isabella could feel the bitterness in his tone. Isabella could make others see her as Caroline, but she didn’t know the spell to change her voice. On the top, why did she even need that?
“The one and the only,” Isabella smirked. “You were going to celebrate your second-month anniversary? Hmm!! But tonight, I will wipe all your memories about Caroline and all you will remember about me and only me.”
“You dare!!” Artemis tried to attack, but all of a sudden, his handcuffed, and being a human, he wasn’t able to break it no matter how hard he tried to. He tried to use his legs next, but even they got tied in the next second.
“I like challenges,” Isabella said, showing him another drug. “I stole this from your mother-in-law’s room. She uses it for wild sex with her mate. And I want to experience the same with you.” She added, touching Artemis’s face with her index finger sensually. Artemis turned his face in another direction in anger because her touch was doing the job of acid.
‘Sarah, help me!! Please.’ He mentally cried and cursed why he had an argument with her. Now, he could understand it wasn’t about the trust but… with her magic; she was also connected with him.
“I knew you would not let me touch you in your sense and feel disgusted. That’s why I brought the solution of it.” No matter how hard Artemis tried not to let her inject that drug into his system, he failed miserably. By the time the drug started working, Isabella had started working on erasing his memories. She wasn’t very sure that she would be able to do that because Artemis was marked by a witch, and as much as she knew, no other witch could control anyone’s mate who had already marked a witch as long as the other witch would be stronger than the previous one.
Isabella had been trying to control him for the past five days, but every time, every time her spells didn’t work on Artemis. And just like she thought, Artin was thinking the same. Artin looked at his hand and then Caroline’s hand.
At that time, the little boy couldn’t wish but wished to become as big as other people soon so that he could be Caroline’s Prince charming, not his Papa.
