After a while, Artin came with his gift in his hand. “This is for both of you. What do we call it? Umm… yeah! Early Christmas gift.”
Both Caroline and Artemis took a thin-packed gift from his hand. “Thank you, sweetheart!! Thank you, champ!!”
They realized it was some card or some paper inside it. Caroline opened the gift, and Artemis carefully looked inside it, and just like they expected, there was a handmade card inside it. Maybe Artin learned to make it in school.
A big Christmas tree was made on the first page of the card. Caroline smiled, and Artemis pulled his champ near him so that they could see the card together. She opened the card.
“Merry Christmas, Mamma & Papa” It was written on the first page of the card, and a lot of cubicle boxes were made at the bottom of the card, showing it as a gift, while colorful lights were on the top of the card.
“It’s beautiful.” Caroline appreciated and looked at the other side of the card.
A big fat man was in Santa dress, ‘Papa’ was written on his stomach on which Artemis smiled. He used to become Santa for Artin all these years, and he used to believe that it was real Santa until he caught him red-handed last year.
Artin was standing in the middle holding his hand, and then Caroline in the corner, who was also looking like a big fat lady with a big stomach.
“Sweetheart, but I never became Santa for you.” Caroline giggled, pinching his cheek. “Do you think I look like this? Hmm.”
But Artemis had started his mind already. He didn’t say anything immediately and waited for Artin to speak. He wanted to know whatever he was thinking was right. Or Artin made a mistake while drawing.
“No, Mamma. You don’t look like this but… but you will look like this when there will be a baby inside you.” Artin replied and touched Caroline’s flat stomach.
Immediately Caroline stopped smiling. “What… what did you just say?”
“Mamma, Papa!! I want Rose’s size, small brother or sister.” Artin expressed his wish. “I promise to look after her or him like a good big brother, and I won’t hurt him or her if she or he will stay in your arms all of the time to drink your milk or to sleep in your lap.”
“And… in case if I will still feel jealous of him or her, then I will talk about it with both of you. So that you both can find the solution to it.” Artim said everything in one go. He looked at his parents. Both were looking at him like he was an alien. “Say something.”
“I… I don’t know what to say?” Caroline mumbled, still in shock.
“Same here,” Artemis said, resting his chin on Artin’s tiny shoulder. “But, I must say, you have given us the best Christmas gift of our life.”
“I know.” Artin smiled. “Let’s give me a family hug before I go to bed,” he said, and soon Caroline and Artemis hugged him in either side of his hand and leaned to kiss his cheek, but he moved back at the right moment because of which his parents ended up kissing each other.
“Artinnn!!”
“Hehe!!” He giggled when Caroline started, kissing him all over his face and holding him in her arms.

“Alpha…” Erica tried to give apologize again, but it looked like it was of no use.
“Raul, throw her out of the pack if she is facing a hard time walking on his two feet,” Santino ordered.
“Sure, Alpha.”
“Please, Alpha! Please… where will I go? Give me other punishment but not this, please!” Erica begged. “I will do anything. Anything, but please don’t throw me out of the pack.”
“Seeing your fighting skills. I appointed you as a school teacher who could pup basic fighting even in human form, but it looked like you didn’t like it. So, deal with it.”
“Please, Alpha!!”
“I said…”
“If she is insisting so much, then change her punishment.” Santino turned his head and found his second months pregnant mate with a smirk on her face. He understood what she meant by her words.
‘Keep your enemies closer.’
“Okay, then. I found a perfect punishment for you instead of sending you away from the pack.” He said and mind-linked Raul about her new role. He left from there with his mate.
“Why did you come out? You should rest in the room.”
“I’m not sick. So, stop giving me that vibe. I wanted to spend some time with you, you know, like this.” She added, leaning toward his chest. Santino wrapped his arms around her and walked into the field under the moon.
“Everything feels surreal whenever I hold you in my arms.” He mumbled.
“Same here. Though I don’t want to talk about our past but you will tell everything to Artin someday.” She said.
“I know. And I have a feeling that he will hate me for everything that happened in the past. At the same time, I don’t think we both can go along for long.”
“Why?”
“Because we both share the same attitude. When I glared at him, he glared me back.” Santino complained, to which his mate giggled, shaking her head.
“I don’t think he will hate you. Not after learning everything.”

“You got to be kidding me,” Erica screamed when Raul allotted her the new work.
“Trust me, even if you will be the last person on the whole earth to joke with, I won’t.” Raul taunted. “Your new work is the work of the Janitor of the public toilet of the pack house.”
