Chapter 57
“I’m so, so, so, sorry!!” Artemis apologized, picking his mate in his arms. “I told you that we would go out, but Mr. Weasley took a lot of my time,” he explained, kissing her cheek.
“It’s okay,” Caroline said with a smile before continuing. “I enjoyed Charlotte’s company, and she even prepared one of her recipes which I ate two plates.”
“Wow!! That’s great. I hope Lucy has learned the recipe that already so that you won’t fast throughout the day.” Artemis commented and made her lay down on the bed carefully. And soon hovered over her.
“So, what is the reason behind this good mood? Did Mr. Weasley get impressed with your ideas and presentation?” Caroline asked, caressing her mate’s cheek lovingly.
“Yes, and It happened all because of you,” Artemis commented, making Caroline freeze.
“Because of me?” She shook her head. “No. I didn’t do anything. It was your hard work. I didn’t do anything because of which you got the deal.” She started, explaining so that Artemis wouldn’t think that whatever had happened was because of her. She… she just asked her Unce to give him a chance despite his bad and pissed mood. If the meeting continued for an hour and a little more, then it was not because of her. Neither her uncle was generous and an idiot who would invest in him and the company just because Artemis was her mate.
“Yes, you did everything,” Artemis said in a serious tone, and he didn’t miss the change in color of his mate. He was joking but observing her face, and it looked like she really did something. But what? Did she possess them? He didn’t feel like they were, not after his test of Oliver. “You kept motivating me, and you’re my lucky charms, so whatever happened is because of you,” he added with a grin.
“God!! Artemis!! You scared me.” Caroline muttered, smacking his chest lightly. “I thought… I thought you really thought that I played dirty to get you this deal.”
“Naah! Thanks to Moon Goddess, my thoughts about you can never stoop that low.” Artemis said, kissing Caroline’s nose. “By the way, I’m hungry.”
“Don’t worry, and dinner is ready. I will ask Lucy to serve the dinner. Since I just have food I….”
“I want to eat the food lying beneath me,” Artemis said, cutting her in between. “I want to eat my dessert to celebrate my little happiness.”
Caroline blushed hearing him, and she liked the idea of being eaten by him. She shyly bit her lips before speaking, “You always look for an opportunity to eat me, don’t you? Earlier, you used to say that you wanted to eat your dessert because you were stressed.”
“Well, it’s my not fault that my dessert is so tasty.” He answered before slamming his lips against her, immediately relishing in a fervent kiss. He had kept in my mind that he couldn’t go down there, so he wanted to get most of it from her top.
At the same time, he could see and sense that Caroline was getting comfortable with his physical advance.
‘I don’t think that she will take a month more to say YES to us for having all of her.’ Bolt said positively.
‘I just hope she will confess her love for us as well.’ Artemis added.
Enjoying the moment, Caroline’s hand ran into his shirt, which hugged him tightly. She started unbuttoning it to touch his skin, to feel his skin.
Artemis smiled between the skin and let her do her work without interrupting her.
After making out a couple of times, Artemis finally left the bed to take care of his boner. Even Caroline left the room and walked into the kitchen. Everyone had left for their home except Lucy.
“Feeling good?” She asked to which Caroline nodded.
“You too can leave for home, Lucy. I will serve food to him.”
“But you’re in pain and….”
“I can handle it. Not a big deal.”
“Okay”

A few moments later, Artemis came out of the room searching for Caroline and found her on the dining table.
“Come, I will serve you the meal.”
“Why are you not in bed?”
“Why do you think I’m sick?” Caroline asked, frowning. “I’m all right, Artemis. Thank you for your love and support, but at least don’t treat me like I’m sick.” She muttered.
“I wonder how you will treat me when I am pregnant? Will you lock me in a room or tie me with the bed?” She added, widening Artemis’s eyes. And the moment Caroline realized what she just did, her face turned a shade darker.
“You do know that you can’t get pregnant without….”
“Shut up! And sit on your place.” Caroline quickly said, changing the topic. Artemis laughed but didn’t tease her more on that topic. She sat beside Artemis while he was having dinner.
“Mr. Weasley was asking if we could join them on lunch the day after tomorrow to celebrate after signing the deal. Hopefully, all the papers will be completed by the end of the day tomorrow. I told him that I would let him know after talking with you about it.”
“You can confirm the lunch plan. I don’t have any plan.” Caroline replied and recalled the message of his Uncle Oli that she had received while he left the office premises after ending his conversation with Artemis.
[Uncle Oli: I need to hear everything from beginning till now from your mouth. So, meet me in my hotel room tomorrow before lunch because after that I will be busy with your mate, discussing the detail of the contract and other plans.]
