Chapter 83
“Later, sweetheart! I promise to finish my work by midnight, and then I will be all yours.” Artemis said, on which Caroline glared at him and left from there in anger. Bolt whimpered in seeing her leaving like this. Caroline entered the room and checked on Bobby before sleeping beside him. At first, she had thought to place him in the corner, and she would be sleeping in the middle, but now, she shifted Bobby in the middle and angrily slept in the corner.

Caroline felt someone touching her; in a matter of a second, she opened her eyes and found Artemis near her.
“Y….” Before she couldn’t have said anything, he slammed his lips against her and picked her in his arms, taking her toward the washroom without breaking the kiss after placing her pillow at the side of the bed. “Why are you here?” Caroline asked the moment they broke the kiss. “Go and enjoy your time with your laptop.” She complained.
Artemis had placed her on the washbin countertop and locked the door behind them. That was when Caroline started complaining. He turned to her and reached near her. He then pulled her close to him, holding her by the waist. He guided her legs apart as he settled in between.
“You really want me to go near my laptop.” He asked.
“I swear to break into pieces then.” caroline hissed in anger. Artemis chuckled, reaching down beneath her top. “Hon, Shaba caught Santinon’s scent from Bobby’s body. Is.. Is it possible that he can be Santino’s biological’s son?” Carline finally asked, which had been disturbing her for a long. At first, she was attracted to him because of his Grey eyes, which reminded him so much of Artemis. And when she used her power to talk with Shaba about Bobby taking to home, she felt connected to Bobby, and he had a scent that… that was 30-40% familiar with Santino’s scent.
“Even Bolt felt connected to him. If you won’t be that busy, can you do a DNA test with my and Bobby's hair? Whether we’re really blood-related or not, we can figure that out through the report.” Artemis suggested. Caroline nodded her head, thinking that Bobby would get a chance to stay with his real father if their thoughts would come to be true, but at the same time, Artemis was wondering what if, for Santino, Bobby would be nothing but just a mistake?
Because he had never heard about Santino in a serious relationship with anyone.
“By the way, aren’t you going to do anything?” Caroline asked, on which Artemis smirked and resumed undressing his food that he was going to eat.

The next morning Artemis was the first to wake up early in the morning because of the smell of pee. He woke up and looked around and found the little culprit sleeping beside him. He lifted Caroline’s t-shirt that Bobby was wearing and found him in a diaper.
‘Our mate is well trained.’ Bolt said, getting impressed.
‘I agree. I didn’t know a pup around two could have the habit of bedwetting.’ Artemis talked him back and then covered him with the sheet to sleep again.

“Good Morning, Dad.” Colton greeted her dad.
“Morning, Colton.” Brandon said before adding, “I saw the proposal of this company last night. It’s good but.. I don’t understand why you want to invest in this chain of hotels. There are a lot of hotels in the hospitality industries which are earning a good amount of profit out there.”
“I know, dad. But neither of them is the franchise of Uncle Oliver’s restaurant, and I have found that Uncle each and every restaurant in the country will be shifted to the first few floors of this group of hotels in that city. You can’t see the profit at this moment, but in the future, I can see our money growing.”
“Also, I was thinking if we will buy some shares of these hotels, then I can have some advantage in staying across the world without any issues,” Colton added another advantage as well.
“Okay! If you have decided something, then I won’t interfere much. Just a reminder, the amount of money you’re investing is a good amount, so don’t forget to meet this Artemis guy and know him personally because it is important to know the person in whom we are investing.”
“Don’t worry about that., dad.”
“Okay then, I don’t think this topic needs my attention much. Just tell me, how is my princess? And when you both are returning?”
“Soon, dad. Soon.” Colton muttered. “She is enjoying her life to the fullest here.”
“Glad to know that. Because after what that boy did to my princess, I thought she would be mourning. But… I’m glad she has found her happiness in exploring new things.”
“Dad…. umm!! What have you thought about Sarah’s marriage?”
“Excuse me?” Immediately his tone of Brandon changed, and Colton quickly wanted to disconnect the call hearing his tone. “Why will I think of her marriage? She is not my burden.”
“Nothing. Just asking. I just came across your and mom’s marriage picture, and then I realized that mom was just twenty-one at the time of marriage, and Sarah… Sarah is already twenty-five.”
“COLTON ETHAN HAYSBERT, why are you behind my daughter? When Caro was twenty-three, she had a boyfriend, an idiot boyfriend. So, next time you want to talk about Caro’s marriage, get a GIRLFRIEND first.” Saying this, Brandon disconnected the call.
“Phewww… that was close,” Colton muttered. “Me and Girlfriend? No way!! It’s final then; only mom can talk about Sarah’s marriage with Dad.”
