Chapter 4 (POV Febrian)

Vero's question made me almost choke on the bread I was chewing.

"You want to date her?"

"That's ridiculous!! I already have a prettier boyfriend than that bitch."

I laughed out loud at his confession.

"You have a boyfriend? I didn't expect a human as annoying as you to have a lover."

I still didn't expect the heart's intention to make fun of him, but instead he was taken seriously. I heard him let out a heavy breath.

"Why sigh like that? Turning into a sad boy like me." I teased him, who looked into my eyes with a sad look.

"I'm not sure about my feelings and also my love is difficult for everyone to understand. Damn, this hurts so much."

I patted his back lightly just to calm him down even though he was my enemy, but I couldn't bear to see him sad.

"Don't be sad. I'll make you happy overnight."

"What are you going to do to me?"

We looked at each other without realizing he took the bread that was left in small pieces in my hand and ate it.

"Sh*t!! My bread."

"I'll buy a new one later."

"Bastard."

After school, I took him to the bar I had just visited yesterday.

"Why did you invite me here?" He glared at me confused and disgusted at the same time.

"Have fun. Just have a drink and I'll rent one for you."

"I'm not gay!!", he protested.

He made my ears hurt and ignited with emotion, but I could still hold it in. I didn't care what he said.

I saw him drinking a lot of alcohol.

"Drink slowly. If you're drunk, I won't take you home. Please go home alone."

"Noisy!!"

I'm looking for the figure of the bartender who yesterday offered me a one-night stand.

"Has he come yet?" I asked the waiter.

"Haven't you heard that he's seriously ill from sleeping with you?"

Like a lightning strike!!

I feel so guilty right now, making me reach for my glass of alcohol and gulp it down all at once.

"But last night, I was on the lower side. Why is he the one getting sick? It should be me."

Of course, I did not accept the news that was spread, my fragile heart made my tears flow.

"Why are you crying anyway? Isn't he just sick, not dead."

"The problem here is that I don't know his name and I don't know his home address or cell phone number."

"Tsk!! That's the result, because you are too ignorant and selfish to only think about yourself."

I don't know why every sentence from him is true. I can only curse the regret I feel like I want to get angry and rage. I felt Vero tap my shoulder lightly.

"I should be the sad boy, but since I saw you cry like this, I will make you happy tonight. Now, you tell me everything about last night."

I'm still quietly hesitant to tell my enemy who isn't currently looking for a fight with me.
