Bella didn't continue the topic, but she noticed Jing De's expression looked a bit different.
"Dad, you have seldom gone out after you returned. Maybe I can register you and Mom to a group tour…"
Zhixin was a good son and called Jing De Dad warmly; he always bought new clothes and shoes for his dad.
But Bella thought Jing De wasn't as warm to Zhixin as he should be.
"It's not necessary. I don't want to go anywhere."
"Zhixin, your dad is still not used to our current financial state. He doesn't want to spend money… I know you are good to us, but we won't do traveling. I've been thinking of taking you and your sister back to our hometown when your sister gets better."

After she told Qin Chu about Jing De, Qin Chu had looked unsettled. She wondered what secret Jing De was hiding.
Did he take away those missing children?
The more she thought of it, the more difficult it was for her to fall asleep. She got up to get water, but when she picked up the glass from the windowsill, she saw a figure passed downstairs.
Under the moonlight, she made out the person's shape and was sure that he was Jing De.
She thought of taking Zhixin with her, but Zhixin truly believed Jing De was his father and might lose control if he saw something weird.
After some careful thinking, she put on her clothes quietly and followed Jing De.
She even sent a text message to Qin Chu, "President Qin, that guy went out. I'm following him and see what he's up to. If everything goes well, I might find his secret… Not to alert him, we can't call the police yet. I just want you to know my whereabouts."

Qin Chu replied immediately but received no reply for a long while.
He called Bella but no one answered.
He had a bad feeling about it. Immediately, he drove from his company toward Sky Blessing Court…
Bella had muted her cellphone before she went to bed and forgot to turn the ring back on. With the phone in her pocket, she missed Qin Chu's message and phone call.
All her attention was focused on Jing De who was moving forward stealthily ahead of her.
She followed Jing De all the way to a wasteland waiting for development behind the Sky Blessing Court.
Jing De walked fast as if he was in a hurry.
Bella followed him and felt she would discover the truth very soon…
