"What is very possible, brother-in-law?" Zhixin looked at Qin Chu hopefully.
"It's very possible that… she'll become vegetative."
Hearing Qin Chu's words, Zhixin and Yang Meirong wept in grief.
"Uncle Jing… You look thoughtful," Qin Chu stared at Jing De and asked.
"I'm worried about Bella… I hope she'll be okay." Panicked, Jing De tried to explain.

Qin Chu sneered and followed a young nurse to change out of the scrubs.
As he walked out of the sterilization room, he called Gao Ran and told him what had happened briefly.
"The bastard is so sly that he can fake a surveillance record?"
"It's not faked. Some high-level hacker erased all his images in the clips, so we can't find any proof that he attacked Bella."
"What shall we do now? We can't let them get away with it."
Knowing Jing De was probably the murderer who killed those children, Gao Ran hated his guts.
"Of course not. If the law can't do anything to him, then I'll take the matter into my own hands."
"Chu, are you going to…?"
Hearing Qin Chu's tone, Gao Ran's heart sank.
"It's fine. Let me handle it. Maybe I can find out the whereabouts of those innocent children… I'll keep you updated."
Before Gao Ran could reply, Qin Chu hung up.
Gao Ran was alarmed.
"Chu, don't act rashly… We can come up with a plan…"

Even though Qin Chu had the text message from Bella, it couldn't be used as evidence against Jing De.
If Jing De insisted that he hadn't seen Bella that night and with Yang Meirong's alibi for him, the police wouldn't be able to do anything to him.
But Bella was lying in the ICU right now…

Seeing Qin Chu come out, Zhixin hurried over to him.
"Don't cry. I believe Bella will wake up."
"Okay. When she wakes up, we'll know who attacked her. I'll beat that bastard into a meat pie." Zhixin clenched his fists.

In the ICU of the First Hospital, a young nurse checked the data on the machines monitoring Bella's condition. Not finding anything out of ordinary, she left the room.
A person wrapped in black clothes sneaked into the room with a stolen ICU key card in his hand.
Then, he walked slowly toward Bella's bed.
If he cut off the oxygen tube, Bella would never wake up again.
With shaky fingers, he reached out to pull off the oxygen tube…
Suddenly, he felt numbness in his back and then passed out.
