Finally, desperate to help her friend, Han Yueyao blurted out the words.
"No." Su Yu refused without hesitation.
"Damn… You refused me just like this…?"

"Stop sucking up."

Seeing she wasn't joking, Su Yu crooked his finger at her.
Han Yueyao entered the room and saw Nie Lingxuan, who was dressed in a princess dress which had a black top and a white skirt with cake-like layers. She looked like a stunningly beautiful big star.
"Hello, my idol…" Han Yueyao greeted Nie Lingxuan warmly.
Nie Lingxuan returned the greeting with a smile.
"President Su, you're busy. I'll talk to you later…" Nie Lingxuan stood up.
"Okay. I'll read the proposal and give you a reply later."
"Okay. Thank you, President Su."
Standing up gracefully, Nie Lingxuan picked up her Chanel handbag, smiled at Han Yueyao, and left the office.
"Tell me why you need a loan?"
After Nie Lingxuan was gone, Su Yu relaxed, knowing he could talk freely with Han Yueyao without fearing that she'd get angry.
"Um… The food in the cafeteria is not as good as before…" Han Yueyao tried to find an excuse.
"Tell the truth." Su Yu glanced at her and knew she was bullshitting.
"One friend needs surgery. I don't have enough money."
"Where's your money?"
"I sent some to my parents and used the rest to pay the medical fees for my friend." Han Yueyao lowered her head. She tried to relax but still felt awkward. After all, she was asking for a loan from the guy she loved.
"Go on…" Su Yu glanced at the data on his laptop as he listened.
"Then… I went to ask for a loan from the financial department. I didn't want to bother you. But they didn't agree to loan me the money, saying they need your permission."
"You asked for a loan from the financial department? You are getting better and better…"
"I don't have a choice. My friend is dying…"
"Which friend? I thought you didn't have friends in the city."

"It's someone you don't know. Just tell me if you'd give me the loan or not."

"How much do you need?"
"100,000 is enough." Hand Yueyao gestured with her fingers.
"Shame on you. You're so popular with millions of fans on Weibo; you can earn more than 100,000 with one commercial. You even went to the financial department for a loan. Do you look like an idol?"
"I'm not an idol. I won my fans with my acting skills…" Han Yueyao stuck out her tongue at him.
"President Su, please call the financial department. I only need 100,000." She urged him.
"I don't want to shame myself… I'd rather give you a loan from my own pocket."
Su Yu wrote a check immediately.
"Here."
"Thank you, President Su."
Han Yueyao found he looked dashing as he wrote the check.
Taking the check from him, she froze when she saw the figure on it. "It's… too much. I don't need so much…"
