Research man

Mr Chukwu was feeling like a liability just sitting around the house doing nothing in particular, he wanted so much to feel useful, he felt like he and his family were a burden to the doctor. Not like the doctor had done anything to make him feel so he was only overwhelmed by his gesture and wanted to repay him.

Mr Chukwu not knowing how to go about it, he told his wife who was also feeling the same way, having her life back was more than enough way to make her feel indebted to the kind doctor and to Goodluck.

"I think we should just ask him to employ us and we will work for free"

She suggested to her husband when she heard what he had to say but her husband didn't think there was space for them to even work.

The entire Estate was filled with workers who do different things, the man was a man of class, he had rules that he was following, he ensure his workers were not over stressed, he was just too much.

Mr Chukwu thought to himself, he didn't have anything to give to him, he was not his class and didn't seem to be lacking in anyway, still they had this strong will to pay him.

Mrs Chukwu was now treated at home, she got bored with staying in the hospital, initially when she had said she wanted to be discharged, the doctor had refused but after checking him and realizing that she was out if danger and she could be treated at home he obliged her and started treating her at home.

The doctor had promised his son to take very good care of his guest so he was trying to do his best but then their approach shocked him that he opened his mouth but couldn't say a word.

"We no longer geel comfortable"

Says Mr Chukwu. Mr Stone was then sure he had really done something different, he was worried, he didn't know how to explain to his son that the guest he was supposed to care for was having problems with his way and they were no longer comfortable. Noticing his confusion Mrs Chukwu decided to chip in.

"You are doing too much for you and we have not been able to do anything for you we feel like liabilities"

"I am a liability"

Mr Chukwu added and that was when Mr Stone understood what he was talking about.

He was happy that it wasn't what he was thinking, he also likes the fact that they wanted to do something for him but he wasn't ready to let them do anything, they were his guest and they should feel comfortable.

He wasn't an outdoor person, he enjoyed researching and reading more, but he wanted to do something differently today, he wanted to spend sometime with the couple, maybe they didn't feel comfortable because he was always not around and he seemed to serious, he wanted to loosen up to see if he could get them to relax, though he had no plan of giving them any manual work to do but he wasn't going to tell Mr Chukwu something like that.

"Well I will think about that, but for today I think we should all go out, my son tells me he has good news and soon he will be coming over here to share it with us all"

They brightened up hearing him say he would think about it, but going out with him seemed more like they just disturbed the research man from researching.
