Confusing the enemy

Amanda continues to laugh at them, as their confusion increased.

She knows what she is do ning, she is trying to get them distracted, and that is what she was going to achieve.

"This is unbelievable, so you were really planning on getting rid of me?

Elena asked with shock written all over her face.

Linda didn't know how to defend herself, she just glared at Amanda with so much hate in her eyes, when she recovered she turned to Elena.

"I already told you that I don't want Goodluck, I just want to get even with Amanda, but I know if she is out of the way, Goodluck will choose me".

Elena was so shocked that she pushed her aside, and that was when Linda started calling Dave.

She came back after a while, to confront Linda again, while Amanda seem to be having a swell time watching them fight.

I will definitely get rid of you, and also Amanda, then I will be the hero, that finds her dead body, you won't get to do anything.

"Are you insane, do you even know what you are saying?

You want to get rid of me an Amanda, then act as the hero, and you think Goody is that dumb?

Amanda didn't quite like the fact that Linda called Goodluck fondly, she hates her already, but that was not in anyway, a time to fight or argue, so she just watch.

While trying to get the rope off her hand.

She needed to keep them distracted, if she must escape, but she knows that if she tries to escape, they will both try and fight her, so what she needed to do, is ensure that they keep fighting.

As if arguing was not enough, Elena, showed her hand, and there was this long stick she had with her.

It looked like a baseball bat, but she could clearly see it isn't, though the place was dark.

Linda sees her bring out the stick, but before she could hit her with it, she bent down and she hit the sit where Amanda is being tied to.

"What the hell!

Linda almost yelled, for she could only imagine that the stick got to her, with the force she used in hitting it.

Are you trying to get me killed?

Amanda was definitely loving what was happening.

She didn't need to struggle so much with the rope, for she could already see that, it isn't so hard anymore, and there is a loose ends, she needs a little more time, for it to come out.

"You got that right, I am planning to get you killed, so that, by the time Dave get here, he would be. the criminal".

She moved to hit him again, but this time, Linda was ready.

Amanda was not surprised at how fast Linda defended herself.

She is a street girl, she has spent her life paying her own bills, she should know how to survive in a tunnel.

"I don't want to hurt you, don't make me hurt you".

She warns, but Elena, was feeling used.

It was as though she had been deceived.

Linda held the stick, when she tried to hit her again, and she held it high in the air, they were both holding it, moving from one place to the other, with each struggling to get hold of the stick.

Linda's phone started ringing, the moment she looked back at her phone on the floor, she sees that it is Dave, she was happy, but by the time she looked back at Elena, she had collected the injection in her pocket.

This was the same injection, Linda have been trying to get them to inject Amanda with, and since she was holding on tight to the only weapon she has, she decided to get the injection.

She injected Linda's arm, just to disarm her.

Linda moved back immediately, seeing how she had just hurt herself.

She was planning all through to use the injection on Amanda, now she has used it on herself.

"What have you done?

She cried, as she kept moving back, even Amanda was surprised.

Elena saw that the injection was more active, so she checked to see if there is still any substance In her hand.

There was a very small portion left.

"Nice, I am going to inject you with this, seem this is working well, I am going to get you out of the way with it.

Linda was struggling with her legs, as she fell to the ground.

Her legs were shaking, she let out a tear, with all the strength in her, she called out.

Elena, please help me!

Elena looked like a total different person, she looked back for a minute, and then started laughing.

"Tables do turn you see, now I will get everything.

She turned back to Amanda, but unknown to her, She had freed herself, and she was only waiting for her to come close enough.

"You should be begging, look at her shaking on the floor, that is what you will be doing soon".

"Yes I know, but that won't kill me, why don't you just kill me, because if it is to paralise me, Goodluck will still be with me".

Amanda replies, Elena looked back to see that Linda was still very much alive, but she was just sitting at a place.

She kept staring at her, wondering if she was really just sitting, for she looks half dead to her, she was looking into space, like one who has stroke.

This injection is really something, what is in here?

She asked Linda, who could not answer.

Amanda knew it was her time, for Elena was too distracted, she got up and smacked her so she falls off, and the syringe fell to the other side, she tried going to get it, but Amanda hit her with the stick, she had been planning to use before.

She didn't stop hitting her, she hit her, till she was out, then she stopped, then she grabbed Linda's phone, and staggered out, hoping to reach Goodluck.
