He tells her, and then left.

Goodluck went down to find two police men outside his house.

"Come inside please".

They walked in, and sat down.

He crossed his legs, while attending to them.

"Mr Goodluck Stone, we are sorry to disturb, but we just found a dead body by the island and a wounded girl, we have reasons to believe that they have connections with you.

One of them works for you, while the other used to be your girlfriend, we are not insinuating anything, we just want to ask you".

Goodluck took it from there.

"They both tried to kill my fiancee, and that is where they found themselves.

I reported to the police, but they couldn't help me find where they were hiding my wife to be, so I searched for her myself.

When I found her, she too was half dead, while one was already dead, and the other wounded.

I left them on purpose, so that the police will find them".

Goodluck told them the truth.

"Do you have evidence of this?

One of them asked him and he nodded as to say yes.

"Officer, tell me the sort of evidence you need, when I told you, I had already reported to the police, if you are unaware, check reports, please leave my house".

Goodluck was already getting angry, and the police, obviously Didn't want him to be angry.

"We are sorry sir, we will leave immediately".

One of them apologized, while the other bowed his head apologetically.

Goodluck stopped them.

"If you want to find the person that sent them to kill my fiancee, go to this address, he was locked up there".

He gave them the address of how to get to where he is hiding Dave.

He also tried to kill his own mother.

The guy is crazy, he should be behind bars, and I hope that this time, the police actually do their job, because if not, I will do it myself, I mean I will kill him".

Goodluck spoke and walked away, before they could digest what he said.

Maxwell could see just how well money can work in the life of people.

The only thing that works in the world is Money and status.

He watch Goodluck go back, but he also stopped after the first stair.

He turned back to find Maxwell looking at him with his mouth agape.

"Where is Joy?

He asked him, he shook his head, as if coming out of a trance.

"She went to her parents, she should be back tomorrow".

I am with Amanda, she is fine, so mum should not bother coming to check on her".

Max could not believe that Goodluck was indirectly telling him that he should not come to their room, because he wants to get down with his sister.

He had to reply to him, so he walked with the same confidence he had seen Goodluck walk with.

"Are you indirectly telling me you want to get laid?

Goodluck was not expecting hm to be that raw.

"Since you made it sound like that, then you should know.

"We are not fucking or anything I just need to have a serious talk with her".

Maxwell smiles, while shaking his head.

His friend has really changed, he was being too blunt, he could not tell if he likes it or not, but he is just happy they were getting along.

He thought of Joy.

He had told her that he needed to see those she grew up with, and Joy had gone to them.

He doesn't want to take any chance, he wants to marry her as soon as possible, though he hasn't told her yet, he just told her he wanted to know all that concerns her.

He called her on the phone, and they started talking.

"I am missing you".

He started.

Joy smiles, for she would have thought that he would first ask how he is.

"I am fine and you?

Maxwell smiles for he knows that she is just reminding him that he should ask how she is first.

"You know I miss you, just stop acting all serious and tell me you miss me too".

She started laughing, while Maxwell smiled too.

"I will be back tomorrow, so you can calm down and wait for me.

By the way, how is Amanda, she must be wondering why she hasn't seen me yet".

"Well she just woke up today, but that is not why I called, I am really missing you, can you show me what you are wearing?

Joy could not believe that he would try to act in such a manner with her, but she sure likes the way he was acting.
