The invites

"But I thought you hate her so much, why do you still want her to come? Josh changed his look already, he didn't like the way things were going.

The girl hurt his friend, and even left, she should not come to make him feel worse.

Even Dave couldn't really answer that question, he didn't know why he wanted her at the wedding, he probably wanted to see how she was doing, or maybe he wanted to spite her again, but hating her was something he wasn't sure of, he doesn't hate her, he doesn't think he could ever hate her.

"I don't think I hate her, maybe I am just angry with her, but the feeling is definitely not hate"

He thought for a while remembering all the happy moments they shared together and he wished fate didn't turn against them.

"I think I just want to know how she is fairing, you know I still kinda feel guilty for allowing her go like that, she needed support.

"I also don't think she was telling lies when she said she doesn't know how she became pregnant" Josh added

Dave was shocked, he had thought about it severally, but still couldn't come up with a better explanation, he was really willing to get his friend's opinion and to know what he had discovered.

"I think she was drugged and raped"

This was everyone's assumption, Dave wanted something more concrete, he wanted something more valid.

"That was what I thought too, I thought Goodluck raped her, but she swore with her life that he could never do that"

" I am working on something and when I am through with my investigations I should have a better answer.

Josh didn't want to push it any further though he had his suspicions.

"I wish I can find answers for her before I tie the knot tomorrow"

"If there is anything I know about the truth, is that it will always come out" Josh encouraged.

Dave nodded in agreement, but that was really not all he wanted at that time.

He looked out the window and cursed his fate, he was really unlucky in this life, he must have offended someone so great that it was difficult to forgive him, first it was hard to get her, and when he did get her, she was taken away from him by a mysterious person who planted a fruit in her.

Just as they were chatting Sonia came in with the menu to show to her brother, she was so happy that she would meet her family all in one place, she didn't like the fact that her siblings were all far away from each other.

The menu list was exactly as Dave had wanted it, he longed for the night in order to embrace the next day, yet he wished the night would never end, this was the second knot he was made to tie, the first he wanted so much to tie it, while the second he was forced into it.

"Thank you Sonia, this is perfect"

Sonia paused a little as she stared at her brother, she knew he wasn't happy and he was doing this because he almost didn't have a choice, after all he was going to be a father again, she knew this was Tracy's dream, she had also helped her a great deal to achieve her dream, but she wasn't happy seeing her brother so distant, she wished she could turn the hands of time, that night she would never have drugged her.

"You don't look so excited, is something the matter?

Sonia pretended not to know what bothers her brother, because she was also grieving with guilt.

"Do you think I did the right thing asking Amanda to go?

This was the first time he was asking about her since she moved out, Sonia had been her closest after all, and it would only be appropriate for her not to be happy about what was about to happen.

"You did nothing wrong brother, Amanda was never really inlove with you, she had always wanted to be with someone else, so I think you did her a huge favour letting her go"

Dave wasn't convinced, but he just had to accept it before he left the both of them there staring at him.

Amanda told Goodluck about the invite she had received, and how she would really love to attend the wedding, at first he didn't want her to go anywhere near that family, but how else was he going to get into the house without a help of someone who had lived there for years.

"I think you should go"

Amanda wasn't expecting that, she had thought that it was going to be a long fight and argument.

"You do?

She asked looking really surprised, but seeing his face she was sure there was more, he had another plan.

"I have to perfect and put finishing touches to the investigation, your brother also needs someone to get into the house and mount something for us, we need to hear their conversations, because from all our sources, you were raped and it could have only happened at your house because around the time you got pregnant, Dave was out of town and you only visited me which is why everyone suspects me, but that house you shared with Dave had other suspects in it whom we want to investigate through listening to their home and phone conversation"

"Do you have any suspects?

"Yes, Tracy, Sonia and your mother inlaw Mrs Brown is our major suspect"

"You may have to remove some names"

"Why should we remove any name?

"Well, my mother inlaw haven't visited us since like forever and I don't think she is that bad, she may not like me, but she cannot do that to me, she really has no motive"

" I won't be too sure if I were you, she never liked you, she accepted you by force, she must have been scheming and planning on how to get rid of you"

Amanda had to give up, she really didn't want to argue with him, she wasn't actually sure of whom to trust, when ever Goodluck takes up a case to solve, everybody is a suspect.

"So what do you want me to do?

"Nothing serious, I want you to attend the wedding, I won't come with you, but I will be with you, you just need to get into the house, I want to bug the rooms,I will give you everything you need and I will tell you what to do, that way I can be here and listen to every conversation in the rooms"

"I think that would be too much, it is invading of privacy, I don't think it's fair"

This is the only way left, if you don't want to do it, then I will have to get in myself"

Amanda was surprised, how in hell was he going to get into the house without anyone noticing, she didn't want to think about it or make him risk his life and reputation for her, so she decided to do it.

The next day was the wedding, Amanda got ready and tried to look her best with the Elizabeth Aiden British gown she was wearing, Goodluck had ensure she wore the best of everything, she still couldn't understand why Dave had sent her a special invite, but she felt he might want to rob it in again and she was prepared to get it, she was no longer afraid, she was happy with Goodluck and she was content with what ever she was getting, she smiled at him as her thought was brought back, he was dressing her up for the wedding, she was just acting as if she was a baby.

"Now you are going to make all heads turn, you look so beautiful"

He said as he ushered her into the vehicle, he explained what she needed to do, the device was prepared , she just needed to get in the home.

Plant it in each bedroom, then he would be able to listen to their deepest secret, he wished he could take another way out, but this seem to be the only way he knows.

As they got to the wedding venue, people were everywhere, Cameras everywhere, she was late, Goodluck opened the door of the other side of the car for her and she stepped out with her elegance.

With her growing Tommy, a lot has changed about her, but she still remained beautiful, with those curves of hers who can resist her? Goodluck thought as he watch people stare at her in admiration.

She stepped in and all eyes on her, her inlaws looking angrily at her, but she was not surprised, when she looked towards the alter, she saw her ex husband and his friend Josh looking daper in their suit, Josh exchanged glances with her, and before she looked away, he smiled at her, she wondered what changed from the last time they had met.
