CHAPTER 8
Talliah Eryn Castillego POV
I SAW my beautiful reflection in the mirror. I wore a white dress. My soft black wavy hair is freely flowing behind my back. Each side of my hair has a white hairpin. I put some liptint on my lips.
"Queen all things are ready." Jazzy said behind my back.
I finished putting my lipstick on my lips before I faced her. I smiled warmly at her.
"Is my dress okay? Doesn't it look ugly on me?" I asked her anxiously.
Jazzy check me from head to toe. She then lazily looked at me.
"I thought you would wear the violet dress? What change queen?" She asked that made me scoffed.
"I think it's not the right color to wear. I should wear one that will make me look innocent in front of them." I mumbled that made her laugh. I rolled my eyes at her.
"And you think you're innocent? You tainted their son's mind. Then you will say you're innocent?" she said sarcastically to my face.
"Shut up Jaz, it's different now. I'm going to face his parents." I stated.
"Are you really sure? That song I'll sing? Won't I look ridiculous?" I made sure to ask her. The side of Jazzy's lips rose up as she stared at my pale face.
"My queen is so nervous huh. You can do that. You said you will do the cringest things in the world for your baby boy. I know you can do it. I will always be by your side queen. Always supporting your craziness. " she cheered me up.
I walked to the sofa and sat down. I looked at the wall clock and saw that it was 7pm. I would be lying if I will say that I'm not nervous. Heck I'm so nervous as hell! But excited at the same time.
Later at 8pm we will drive to Rainer's house. Jazzy laughed at me when I told her that I will court Rainer. She asked if the rotation of the earth changes. Because why am I courting man.
If I don't do this I won't get him. I should make my baby fall for me. So that he won't think about that Leina. She's getting into my nerves! What so special with that girl?
We already practiced our performance later. Jazzy will be my guitarist and of course I'm the one to sing. At first I had a hard time but eventually I learned. Jazzy is so patient while teaching me how to sing. I'm so grateful that I have her.
She always supported me being a crazy woman in love. She bought the flowers, heart balloons, chocolates and big teddy bear. She said that when boys court a girl, they give gift to the girl. So I told her to buy those things. I will give those stuff to Rainer after I sing.
I just hope that his parents will like me for him. And also I'm so excited to see Caelana. Rainer sister. I really like that kid, she's so innocent and sweet just like her brother. Caelana is a strong kid too. Rainer loves her so much.
"Queen let's go." Jazzy called me. I immediately stood up when I saw that it was 8pm.
I got into the passenger seat of the black sedan while Jazzy got into the driver's seat. She's going to be my driver. I smiled when I saw the things in the back seat. I also saw Jazzy's guitar next to a big teddy bear.
I opened the window beside me and the cold wind immediately touched my skin. The night is so peaceful. I savored the cold air while feeling my heartbeat.
"Jazzy where's my cigarette?" I asked her while my eyes were still closed.
I heard movement and I knew it was Jazzy. She took something from the compartment.
"Here," She handed me one cigarette and a lighter.
I quickly took it and lit it up the cigarette. I put the cigarette between my lips and started blowing smoke.
"You're nervous." Jazzy whispered lowly. It's not a question but a statement.
"Just a bit." I mumbled while blowing out cigarette smoke.
"He's lucky." Jazzy uttered lowly. I know who she is referring to.
A smile drew on my lips "I'm luckier. He gave me a chance to court him and I will not put it into waste." I whispered
"You know that he is my dream since ever since right?" I asked while looking at her.
She immediately nodded her head and bit her lower lip.
"I know queen. I witnessed how you became crazy about him." she stated with a hint of pain in her voice.
"You know I love you right? But only as friends. I can't love you romantically because my heart belongs to someone already." I muttered.
I saw how she bitterly chuckled and tightened her grip on the steering wheel.
"I know queen.I've been moving on for a long time." She smiled at me but it didn't even reach her eyes.
Jazzy liked me before. When I was 23 she confessed her feelings to me. At first I was shocked I thought Jazzy was straight but I've known that she is bisexual. She can romantically like men and women. I thought she was just joking when she confessed to me about her feelings but she's not.
I was sad because I like Jazzy. I like her because she's my only friend but it turns out that she had feelings for me. I told her that I'm already in love with someone else. and that someone is the 18 year old Rainer at that time. I know I've hurt her but that's the truth. I want us to be friends.
I thought she would leave me. I thought I would never have friends. Because I hurt her. But it's not like that. She accepted that I really only consider him a friend. I'm not bisexual too. I'd prefer a man who's five years younger than me. Until Jazzy accepted that thing. She also wants me to be happy. And now our friendship remains strong. She didn't leave my side.
Jazzy stopped the car on the side. I threw away my cigarette. I looked for the spray to spray in my mouth. I nervously looked at myself in the mirror.
"Queen, you're always beautiful. Get out already." Jazzy said while taking her guitar from the backseat.
"I'll get these later after you sing." she's referring to the items she bought earlier. I just nodded and got out of the car.
First I fixed my slightly messed up dress. While looking at Rainer's house. It's the first time I'm nervous like this.
"I called Caelana and she will open the gate for us."
"Lana knows? You conspired with her?" I asked stupidly.
"It's a shame if we suddenly enter their gate. We will be mistaken for thieves."
Jazzy has a point. Not long after, Caelana suddenly came out of their house wearing a jacket. She cutely ran towards the gate with her cute smile. She quickly opened their gate without making any noise. When she opened the gate completely, she suddenly hugged me. Uh. How I miss this cute girl so much.
"Sister Eryn, I miss you." she said tearfully after she broke away from our embrace.
I caressed her cheeks while lovingly looking at her.
"I miss you too brave girl. How are you?" I asked her while smiling.
She smiled at me sweetly "I'm fine sister. Always strong as you said." she said silently
"That's good. By the way where is your Brother?" I asked her softly.
"Uh, Big Brother is washing the dishes. We just finished eating. Then Mom and Dad were in the living room watching TV." She said cheerfully that made me smile.
My baby is hardworking.
"Are you really going to sing for Kuya?" Lana asked excitedly. I smiled and nodded.
"Come on, I'm thrilled." She cutely said that made me laugh.
"Sister, you know that Kuya is inlove with you. The other day I saw him smiling alone while staring at the ceiling of his room." She said then giggled afterwards.
My heart flipped at what she said. Even if I know that Rainer is not in love with me yet. But the thought of him falling in love with me makes my heart beat faster.
"Come on, Sisters, get inside. We shouldn't make any noise."
The three of us entered inside the gate. My heart is drumming inside my chest at every step I take.
When we were in front of the door, Jazzy adjusted the hanging of his guitar on her shoulder. While Lana was outside with the door closed, standing.
"Queen you ready?" Jazzy asked me. I smiled at her and nodded my head.
Jazzy started strumming the guitar. I smiled when I saw Lana smiling widely at us. She mouted 'Go ate' that made my heart swell in so much happiness. my nervousness lessened a bit. I opened my mouth to sing the song for my baby.

"Who is singing outside dear? Why is the voice so beautiful?" I heard a female voice shouting from their house. I think that's his mom.
"I don't know. Let's see." The male voice said. Probably his father. My heart began to tremble again when I heard them heading to the door.

I continued to sing while feeling my heart beat fast. The door slowly opened and the image of a beautiful woman and a handsome man appeared. Rainer is right, his parents are beautiful that's why he's so handsome and beautiful too.
The woman's eyes widened while her mouth started to form an 'O' while looking at me. The man in her side is smiling at me. I smiled at them while continuing to sing.
The woman shouted Rainer's name. Rainer suddenly came out of their house and immediately met my eyes. I waved my hand cutely at him while his mouth agaped while looking at me. He was so stunned seeing me singing.
Nothing else is more important

Rainer blushed when I winked at him. He looked so shy while looking at his parents then to me. He didn't even expect I would do this kind of stunt. Well baby boy. I will do everything for you.

I sing while looking deeply at his brown orbs. Since I was twenty three I've always prayed to God to fasten the time for us to happen. I've always prayed to be with the man I love.

The song fits perfectly for what I'm feeling towards him. The song ended beautifully. I blinked when Rainer's Mom suddenly clapped.
"My dear, her voice is so beautiful. She's also beautiful too." His Mom smiled at me while her eyes twinkle. I breathed a sigh of relief because they liked my song.
My eyes move to Rainer who is currently looking deeply at me. I smiled sweetly at him. I thought he wouldn't smile back. But I was stunned when he smiled back.
"Sister Eryn, your voice is so beautiful. Brother was so amaze." Caelana shouted loudly. Rainer quickly covered his sister's mouth. Their parents looked at them while laughing.
I slowly approached them.
"Good evening Tita, Tito." I respectfully said while bowing infront of Rainer's parents. His Mom and Dad smiled at me.
"Good evening. You are beautiful and your voice is so beautiful too. Are you my son's girlfriend?" his Mom asked excitedly.
I was ashamed to smile at her. I remembered the night I kidnapped their son. His mom called. She's so worried about her son. I'm the one who answered the phone and I told her that I'm his son's girlfriend. I lied that time.
"Uhm I'm courting him." I softly answered that made her eyes widen.
"You're courting my son?" She asked bewildered. I nodded my head shyly.
She looked at Rainer with wide eyes.
"Is it true son?" His Mom asked in disbelief.
Rainer shyly caressed his nape while nodding his head. I heard his mom gasped. I also heard his Dad's soft laugh.
"My son is really handsome." He Dad proudly said while patting his son's shoulder.
"Dad stop it," Rainer said shyly to his Father who was just laughing at him.
Their family is so cute. I wanted to be part of it.
"Hija what is your name." His father asked.
"My name is Talliah Eryn Castillego." I answered that made his eyes widen.
"Castillego? The Castillego Empire? You are their sole heir?" His father asked shock. I nodded while smiling.
I talked to them. His parents have so many questions about me that I willingly answered. They're so fun to talk to. They let me court their son. They said that their son's lover was a very weird woman, but they didn't say anything and just let us be.
While his parents and I were talking. Rainer was just on my side listening to me while staring deeply at me. Every time our eyes meet my heart always beats faster.
Until I said goodbye to them to go home because it was already late night. I followed Rainer's parents through my gaze as they entered their room. Lana had been already sleeping because she was not allowed to stay up late.
"Let me take you outside." I lifted my eyes only to see the man I love looking at me.
I slowly stood up from my seat and hugged him tightly.
"I miss you." I asked him while pouting my lips. He flicked my forehead and laughed softly.
"You miss me every day." He chuckled huskily that made me smile. Yeah right I always missed him!
"I have something to give you. Let's go to the car." I intertwined our hands while walking towards my car. I wonder why Jazzy didn't give the things earlier after I sang. So I'll just give it to him now.
I opened the backseat and saw Jazzy sleeping in the driver's seat. That's why. Jazzy seems so tired. I heard Rainer gasped from my side after he saw Jazzy's image.
"She's the girl in the parking lot that I helped before I passed out." He said lowly which made me laugh.
"Yeah, that's her." I said while giving him a bunch of flowers. He looked at it in surprise.
"That's for you and all these."
I gave him the chocolates, heart balloons and the big teddy bear. His jaw dropped seeing the cute teddy bear.
"You can hug that teddy when you sleep. As if that's me." I said and giggled.
"I've already named it. Her name is Railiah. It's so cute right? I combined our names together. Rainer and Talliah. Inshort Railiah." I explained smiling from ear to ear.
He looked at me then laughed so hard.
"Why are you laughing?" My forehead creased while looking at him.
"Nothing. I didn't know that you could be this cute." He uttered while smiling.
My heart immediately flipped while seeing his smile.
"Let's date tomorrow. I won't accept no for an answer." I muttered seriously.
He grinned while looking at me. He then pinched my cheeks which made me blush.
"Okay Mommy." he teased that made my jaw drop while my eyes widened. Did he just call me Mommy?
"What? Please repeat?" I asked while stuttering.
"Nothing." He said with a laugh
"Go home. Wake up your kidnapper friend." He said with a laugh as he pushed me towards the passenger seat.
I glared at him when he pushed me again.
"Where's my kiss?" I said angrily that made him laughed even more.
He leaned forward towards me then kissed my right cheek. I immediately blushed.
"That's enough, please get inside now. Thank you for these.” He gave me the most jaw dropping smile that made my knees weak!
"You deserve it baby." I sexily uttered that made him blush.
"Take care of our daughter!" I laughed as I entered inside the car.
Rainer nodded and smiled sweetly at me before entering their house. My heart beats faster as I watch the man I love enter their house until he disappears from my sight.
The car engine started. I turned to the driver's seat and saw Jazzy smiling at me.
"You seem so very happy my queen." She stated while driving. I smiled at what she said.
"It felt so surreal Jazzy. My heart is so happy. Thank you for helping me." I said sincerely to her.
'Cause really without the help of her Rainer's and I will not happen. She really helped me a lot.
"No need to thank me queen. We both know that you helped me much more." She said lowly.
I looked out the window and looked at the passing trees. I smiled when I remembered what happened this night. Now, I've finally met his parents. I'm slowly taking a step into his life. Until now I can't still not believe that we happened. The man I've dreamed of is slowly accepting me. He slowly let me inside his life. And I can't wait to be part of it forever.
