"Seriously... I told them to lay low recently..."

"At a time like this, they're still making trouble for me!"

Kuruno sat in a soft leather chair, a cigar in his hand, facing the window, overlooking his territory.

"I'm very sorry, Colonel Kuruno!" A navy soldier stood at attention in front of the desk, saluting. "We are investigating those who are spreading rumors everywhere."

An unusual sound was made as the bullet whizzed past Kuruno's ear.

Kuruno reached out and gently brushed his cheek. The blood on his finger was particularly glaring.
