"Who's there?" Olombus looked up, staring directly at the source of the voice.
But as he made out the approaching figure, the smile on his face abruptly froze, a flicker of fear flashing in his eyes.
It wasn't until the person was right in front of him that he realized he was already breaking out in a cold sweat.
What terrified him even more was that even with the person standing right there, his Observation Haki hadn't detected their presence.
Olombus shouted loudly, "Friend, more friends mean more paths. How about we get acquainted? I have some influence in the latter half of the Grand Line."
Olombus patted his chest, guaranteeing, "Once I finish this job, I'll definitely have a drink with you! You're a friend I'm making!"
He made a choice that other pirates would consider shameful, his tone laced with pleading and flattery, trying to talk his way out of the situation.
