The Story of Gyzell

Gyzell’s POV

My body is scarred, filled with bruises that no one can see. I can only feel it—the pain, his betrayal, the smell of breath due to alcohol, and my naked body.

Though my bruises aren’t black and blue, the remnants, the pain, of it still lingers in my petite body.

I didn’t realize that I was drunk, that I was already feasted by a man. That I have unknowingly given him consent.

I didn’t say I’m mad at Kevin. I wasn’t just prepared for someone whom I trust so much to take advantage of an intoxicated woman like me.

He was in tears in front of me. I don’t know why he was crying as he put my clothes on my body first, before grabbing his, with tears still in his face.

Kevin was handsome. He looks like a playboy but he acts like a gentleman. I’m afraid to say he’s kind but I’ve got to say it: Kevin’s kind. Especially when he slid my underwear with his own hands; he was the one who put on the clothes that I was supposed to be doing by my own hands.

He looks as if he’s guilty. His hands are shaking, like it seems to be going along with my body’s quivering. I am supposed to be having the start of my red days this day. But with Kevin’s interference… I doubt that I can still have my menstruation next month.

“I’m sorry…” He said as he buttoned the last of his polo shirt’s buttons. “I’m sorry…” he reiterated, which made me more confused.

“For what?”  I asked.

“For this.” He waved a hand on the entire room, then to my shaking body. “And to you.”

I laughed. I’ve never seen a man apologize for drilling a woman.

“You don’t have to be,” I replied. “I said yes, remember?”

His eyes shone with sadness and pity that I cannot fathom the level of highness of it. It was utter sadness, as if he was the one who'd been taken advantage of.

I have never seen such a peculiar and bizarre man like Kevin Wolff. His face is like the ones that give a woman a notion to always stay away from his sight, but he’s a total cinnamon roll at the same time. Stern but fluffy, as they say.

“I…” He shook his head and put his other hand on his forehead. “I got to go.”

“You go.” I lifted a chin to the red door. “I’ll take my time here.” I hugged my legs as the cool temperature of the room made me more quivering.

“I-uh…I already paid for your drinks and this room. You can also order food. I already told the staff here to charge whatever you order under my name.”

Then the door slammed shut.

I sighed. He makes me wonder if it was a sweet kind of sex or for the sake that his dick can enter a pussy. Or maybe both…

I grabbed a can of soda from the little fridge situated beside the dresser. I almost didn’t notice the piece of white paper tacked with a pineapple decorative magnet in the fridge’s door.

“Darwin asked me to film us…” I was confused what he meant when I read the words, then that thought suddenly came up to me that he was referring to our bodies’ convergence last night. Well maybe not last night, a couple of hours earlier. It’s two in the morning when I looked at the digital clock atop the wooden bedside table.

“He said that it’s his form of revenge for Lushan interfering with his and Minerva’s relationship, as well as a lesson to teach you and a message to tell you that you have to stay away from him from now on or he will be the one to do something worse to you. I’m truly sorry.”

Yep, Kevin is indeed the kind of man that I would gladly take his family name.

“Gyzell Wolff. Not that bad though…” I flipped the paper. Hoping for some postscript. There is indeed one. “I did not film us…for I know the memory of the night that we first both held each other’s body nakedly is more than any video in this world. I shall cherish it.”

I finished my can of soda just before I decided to dial her to end our agreement.

I’m tired of being a pet, a puppet. It’s time for me to write my own story, to be the own director of my day-to-day life.

“Hi Jocelyn! I’m done with all of your bullshits now. I’m quitting and forgetting everything we’ve discussed. I’ve found myself one hell of a rich boyfriend. Goodbye!”

My only problem as of now is how am I going to convince Kevin to tell Jocelyn that he is my boyfriend. It’s a white lie. And I guess it’s not that bad at all if he agrees.

But a part of my heart also tells me that why fake it all when we can be together. I mean having a bae like Kevin is like having a boyfriend and a bestfriend at the same time.

He truly is magnificent. He’s truly heavenly made: his body, his gorgeous ass, his big wide cock—all of him. As if someone from above showered me and threw this man in front of my feet.

And from that moment, I knew then…everyone has their own decision if they want to change their fate or not.

Darwin’s POV

“Are you sure about that?”

My brows are still hoisted, still cannot believe. Though I already sense the lie in Gyzell’s eyes once she kissed me in front of Minerva and Lushan, I just can’t believe that she confessed with her own tongue and lips that she is not pregnant—that what she claims is only a part of plan to separate me and Minerva.

I guess the real evil witch is Jocelyn after all.

“Yes, Darwin. I believe that’s what she said while I’m doing her, while I-uh….while I am—”

“While you’re inside her?” Kevin’s cheeks stained. Heavens, he’s a kind of man who has a hard time admitting that he did it with a drunken woman—with a drunk Gyzell.

“You do not need to be guilty. You said it yourself that she’d given you permission—”

“While she’s drunk!” His voice became louder. Kevin’s baby blue eyes narrowed at the sight of me as if I’m the one to blame. Well, I am indeed the one to blame. But I didn’t ‘force him’ to. He just casually went up to her after muttering that command as if he’d gladly do it anyway—with or without my ‘command’.

“Look Darwin…” Why does he sound like he’s a broken-hearted man? “I only did that to her out of my respect to you—as a bestfriend and as my Chief Executive Officer.”

“And?” I assume that this man here beside me, that I’ve known for too long as a friend and business partner, actually treats women in the way how much of a goddess they were, not how much of an asset a woman is. This man indeed taught me a lesson.

“I shall not do it again,” he added.

“Shall not?” I raised my glass of chardonnay away from my lips. “What makes you think there will be next time?”

“There isn’t?” He seems more surprised than angry, more curious.

“No.” Placing my wine glass atop the table, I looked Kevin straight in the eye. “That was a lie. It’s my way of pushing you to her since I know that you fancy her.”

“Fancy her?” Kevin laughed, like how a seven-year-old boy denies he has a crush on his fellow schoolmate. “I loved her, Darwin. I. Loved. Her.”

I brush a daisy on his nose, derived from the flower vase in the center of the table. “Yep, bro! You loved her. And think of me, as well as thank me, as I’ve been the cupid that shot an arrow to your heart to make a move on her.”

“Nah, Dennis. You’ve more like shot an arrow to my dick.” We both burst into a giggle. Our laughter made the other people look at us, here in the first-class bar of a five-star hotel known to many as The Wine House.

“How does she feel?”

“Oh…” He popped a nacho in his sweet little mouth. “I could write it in a novella about the night between me and Gyzell.”

“Tell me then…” I insist.
