Linnea POV

I'm just sitting here on my bed, in fact during my time here in this place I feel like I am missing Hunter. Even though we didn't get to know each other very well, he saved me many times and I thank him for that. After all, he's not really bad.

I can’t help but be upset when I think about that thing. I was in such a situation when the door suddenly opened and I saw Aiden so quickly that I wiped the tears from my eyes.

"Why are you crying? Are you in pain? Tell me." he asked in full concern.

I didn't say anything I just kept my head down, I can't tell him thatI miss Hunter, that’s why I'm crying.

"I know you miss Hunter already even if you don’t want to tell me about it. Let's see what Hunter's will choose. If he really loves you he will risk everything." he seriously said.

"Honestly Linnea I like you, at first I just really wanted to use you against Hunter but I can't stop myself from not liking you. I thought during the time we've been together you'll be having feelings for me but I made a mistake. " he added, I do not know what my reaction will be to his confession.

I could even see the tears in his eyes, I never thought an Aiden Knight would cry in front of me.

"Maybe if I met you in a different situation or if I met you earlier you would love me and not him," he added.

"Aiden ..." I called him.

"You don't need to say anything Linnea, it's okay. I know you love him more than me and I accept that." he was holding back on what else I had to say.

I didn’t say anything and I just closed my eyes.

I didn't know that I was hurting him even if I didn’t do anything, I really thought he didn't care about me.

I don’t know if I will believe that he likes or because of his desire.

But what is important to me now is to know what Aiden told Hunter, why he needs to choose?

Hunter POV

"How was it Dane?" I asked my secretary.

"Sir everything you need is here. But are you sure of your decision? Maybe you're just in a hurry."

"I'm sure about it Dane, I have no other desire but Linnea's safety. I need to save her no matter what happens, even if I lose everything or I have nothing left as long as I can get her back." I said seriously.

"Think first Sir, maybe you will change your mind, Linnea is not the only woman in this world you can find another better than her. It’s not that I don’t like her for you but I’m just worried about you decision. All your life you did everything in business to be on top. You don't need to risk everything you have just to save a woman.``

"I don't know Dane, but I know I'm sure of my decision and I will not change my mind. I will give Aiden what he wants in exchange for Linnea. Even me I can't understand why I'm doing this and why I'm going to trade what I've worked so hard for just to a woman, but for how many months I've been with her I know she's important to me and I can't allow anyone to hurt her. I will save her at all costs.” I said..

I understand Dane. I know he is just concerned, ever since I built everything I have now he has been with me. He’s not just a secretary for me, he's one of my family.

"If that's your decision I'll support you, I just hope you don't regret it." he said before leaving in front of me.

When he got out I immediately contacted Aiden, I need to get back Linnea as soon as possible. And one more thing I need to make sure that she’s safe.

I knew Aiden very well and I knew what was on his mind and I had prepared myself as well. If he is smart I am smarter.

Later, he answered my call as well. "Where is Linnea?" I suddenly asked him.

"She's here beside me."

"How is she?" I asked again.

"You don't need to worry, she's in good shape."

"I've already fixed your demands, just make sure you follow what we have talked about." I said seriously.

"Good to hear that, send it to me as soon as possible."

"I won't send it to you. I'd like to give it to you personally at the same time I will get Linnea.” I said.

"You still never change, you're still smart."

"Just bring Linnea back to me cause I'm not kidding you Aiden, I'll give you what you want in exchange for her." I said seriously.

"I can't believe that you will do these things because of a woman. You really love her and you are willing to lose everything just to save her. I will text you the address and be sure to bring with you everything I ask if you want to see Linnea. " he said last before dropping the call.

I just sighed and put the phone on the table, Linnea just had a little patience and I can get you back from Aiden's hand.

I will not allow him to get you back from me even if he dies. I brought you into this situation so I will also save you.

I got up and went out to go to Dane who was talking to the rest of our staff, I needed to be together when I went to Aiden, I knew he was cunning and I couldn't go alone.
