Chapter 30
Hunter POV
Aiden and I just finished a deal with a client. Dane is in another country to arrange our other business so Aiden is with me first. Fortunately, it was easy to talk to that old man so he signed the contract immediately.
We went to a coffee shop of my former employee. He resigned two years ago because he got married and set up a business.
We looked for a vacant seat and sat there. Later, Grace approached us. "What's your order Sir Hunter?" She asked me, she was the wife of my former employee.
"Two salted caramel and two slices of blueberry." I answered her.
Then said goodbye to prepare for our order.
"What are you thinking? Is there a problem?" Aiden grabbed my attention.
"Nothing much, I'm just thinking of something." I answered.
"What's that? Need help?"
"It's just I don't know what I will do. I want to marry Linnea." I said.
He laughed so I glared at him. "In short, you want to propose to her? I don't know that billionaire Hunter Silvestre is struggling and doesn't know what to do with Linnea Georgia Villareal."
"I'm serious Aiden." I said.
"I'm also serious, we know that Linnea loves you so it's unlikely that she'll reject you unless she doesn't want you anymore."
"Stop talking about that and don’t assume that she loves you more than she loves me." I said and the fool laughed.
"You have to show to her that your intention is real and you really love her." voice of the person who is behind us. When I looked at it I saw my former employee Dale.
"Dale!" I exclaimed, he is the owner of this coffee shop.
"Yow Hunter, oh Aiden is that you?"
"Who else could be Dale? I'm the only handsome one here." Aiden boasted.
"I heard you are talking about the wedding, who is getting married?" Dale asked.
Aiden pointed at me. "Oh oh Hunter and who's the unlucky girl?" Dale teased me.
"It's Linnea." I answered.
His eyes widened. "You mean Linnea Georgia Villareal? Your famous news caster?" he asked and I nodded.
"Finally there's a woman who has made you feel love and it’s good to know that you will build your own family now. You know it feels like heaven when you have a wife and kids already.” He said.
"We've been together for a long time, he lives at my place." I said.
He and Aiden laugh. These two are crazy as hell!
"So when's the wedding?" Dale asked again.
"That's exactly what he's having trouble with, he doesn't know how to propose to Linnea." Aiden said who was still laughing.
"My wife was pregnant before we got married. I waited almost a year for us to get married because she didn't want to walk to the altar with a big belly." Dale's promise.
"Exactly! I don't want her to get pregnant before I ask her for a marriage, I don't want her to think that I only marry her because we're going to have a baby. That woman thinks differently." I complained.
"Hey guys, this is your order. I'm sorry it took so long." Dale's wife's groin.
"Hon? Why did you bring the order?" he asked the wife.
"Well. I’m the one who got their order. That's why." Grace replied.
Dale didn't stay there long and said goodbye because they were going somewhere.
"Hmm, I have a better plan Hunter." Aiden exclaimed in the middle of our meal.
"What is it?" I ask him.
He immediately told me the plan he had in mind so I agreed. I just hope it will be successful and Linnea will say yes because if not I’m gonna kill Aiden.
Linnea POV
I was in the garden of the house and waiting for the two to arrive because until now they have not been there, I have called them several times but no one answered even one of them. Sometimes it's really annoying for those two since they got along, they often beat me up.
Later, Nay Belen came to me in a hurry with a telephone. "Linnea, someone called and was looking for you." she said to me, since Aiden lived here, Nay Belen has also been here.
When she informed her about the call I immediately went outside the house.
"Hello."
"Hello. Is this Ms. Linnea?" the woman in the other line.
"Yes, who is this?" I answered.
"This is a ****** hospital, please come here now because Mr. Silvestre had an accident and his condition is serious."
"What? How? What happened?" I asked incredulously.
"Just go ma'am. Thank you." and she dropped the call.
So many emotions I’m feeling when I hear the news: fear, nervousness and many more. So I quickly went to the room and took my bag, I called the driver to accompany me.
Nay Belen even asked me what happened and where I was going, she seemed to notice my haste and change in my appearance but I did not answer her yet because of too much haste.
All I can think of now is what happened and what the nurse said that Hunter’s condition was serious. I know he and Aiden were together because they met a client but how come that he had an accident now.
I quickly got in the car and the driver drove away. " Please hurry up." I said.
He nodded. "Just calm down ma'am. We can't hurry and we might have an accident."
Linnea just leaned back in her chair while waiting for them to arrive at the hospital where Hunter was.
