Chapter 9

Hunter POV

After the board meeting in my company I didn't want to leave there and since I had nothing else to do, I decided to go to Linnea's work. I know she will be surprised when she sees my face again but I don't care.

When she saw me she didn't seem to have any intention of talking to me but she just continued walking so I quickly chased her and pulled her arm. There was a trace of annoyance on his face.

I told her how many times to get in the car but she was stubborn so I had no other choice so I scared her and she hurried to get in the car.

A smile flashed on my lips before following her. I win again!

It took us about 30 minutes to get home, when I parked the car I saw that she was sound asleep so I didn't wake her up and I just lifted it slowly.

I immediately directed her to my room and when I laid her on the bed I couldn't help but stare at her gentle face. If we were just in a good situation when we crossed paths these things wouldn't happen to us.

But somehow I’m still grateful because if it weren't for her stubbornness we probably wouldn’t have met.

I sighed, I don't know why I'm like this now and because of this woman. My heart cannot be softened so that all the things I’ve worked for will not be ruined.

I got up and got dressed, I feel tired today because of the many transactions, then when I get dressed I quickly lie down next to her.

Linnea POV

When I woke up it’s already afternoon, it seemed I slept longer. I am here again at this man's house. I noticed Hunter sound asleep next to me.

Actually he's really handsome, if he's not a drug lord and doesn't have illegal businesses I can say he's an ideal man.

Eventually my stomach rumbled signaling that I was hungry, so I got up to go down and eat. I am also used to this house because Hunter always drags me here and even his maids, guards and assistants already know me.

When I got down I didn't see even a single maid. I was wondering why so I approached a his men to ask.

"Excuse me," I began and he immediately looked at me.

"Why ma'am Linnea? Do you need anything?" he asked..

"I was just going to ask where the maids are?" I asked.

"They are on a day off Ms. Linnea," he replied and I nodded.

Miraculously, Hunter is also kind somehow, it seems that the maid was right.

I immediately said goodbye to him and went straight to the kitchen and because I knew there was no one who would cook so I just did it.

I opened the refrigerator to see what’s in there that can be cooked and it's good because there are lots of foods inside and most of the ingredients are complete. I took out all the things I was going to use and started cooking.

I decided to cook porridge, menudo and mechado. I also plan to make dessert.

I'm busy cooking while dancing. I'm used to this when I'm cooking so that I can also entertain myself when suddenly someone sneezes behind me so I can let go of the spoon I'm holding.

I heard his weak laugh, the devil was awake!

"You're awake, just wait a little and it'll be cooked. The helpers have a day off so I'll just cook." I said to him,

He nodded and went straight to the refrigerator to get water and drink.

A few more minutes passed and I finished cooking, I immediately arranged them in the dining room and then called him.

He sat down and I put his plate.

"I guess you're kind now? It's good that you've adjusted your behavior when I'm in front of you,” He suddenly said.

I stared at him and didn't answer, I knew I wouldn't win over him no matter what.

I just continued to eat when I noticed him not eating and just staring at me.

"Why are you looking at me? Do I have dirt on my face?" I asked him but I didn't even get an answer.

"If you think I might have poisoned your food you're mistaken. I'm not criminal." I added.

I heard him chuckle, bastard!

I just ignored him and just ate, I also noticed that he started eating.

"After I finish eating I'll take a bath because I still have important things to do but I'll be right back. Don't dare to leave." he said while eating.

I just rolled my eyes. "I don't care if you have an important things to do and excuse me Mr. Silvestre you can’t control me!"

"Really Linnea? Your mouth says differently than your body wants, remember how you scream when I am pleasuring you?" he teased.

"Damn you! Stop it."

"You can't deny Linnea, I know you also like what I'm doing to you. I remember how you begged for more." he added.

Arrrgg! Can he just shut his mouth!

"Can you stop already Hunter, if you have nothing sensible to say then leave in front of me." I said and stood up.

"Don't turn your back on me because I'm still talking to you." he shouted but I ignored him and went straight to the kitchen.
