“Why’s that?” Huo Yunshen asked.
Their original plan was to let Jing Xi pretend to be Jing Ruyue.
“I’m trying to fulfill her dream. I bet my dad wants to see mom on stage again,” Jing Xi said. “I will go on in her place only if she’s not feeling well.”
“I see…” Huo Yunshen paused and nodded. “All right, we’ll do that then.”

“I’m a little worried she might not come tomorrow.” Jing Xi expressed her worries while clasping her hands.

Jing Xi lay down on the bed and was followed by Huo Yunshen.
“Shouldn’t we encourage each other before the battle then?”
“What? I thought you said it was time to sleep.”
“Yes, I meant the other sleep.”
“But that’s not what I meant!”

“Of course I do!”
“Me too.”
As the night fell, the couple “slept” through a beautiful night.

A woman was staring at the screen as she was doing her best to hold back her anger.
The screen was showing an advertisement on a beauty product.
A beautiful woman stood at the beach as the wind softly breezed past her.
“Real beauty is that which can withstand time,” a beautiful voice said, coming from the advertisement, “and real love is one that can overcome time.”
Jing Ruyue slowly turned around to face the camera and continued, “And one with love and beauty is the true winner of all.”
The last four words made the woman looking at the screen erupted in anger.
She tore the papers in her hand and threw them into the air.
The woman swore that she would not let Jing Ruyue have a happy ending.
