Acela POV

I wake up in the comfiest bed I've ever laid on in my entire life.

I don't know when I fell asleep in the car but when I opened my eyes I was in a huge bedroom and I was tucked into bed. Looking around I know instantly that we are inside the palace, the rooms are all the same to me, beautiful and everything is definitely worth more than I could ever earn in my lifetime.

I lay there and try not to think about everything that just happened at Ron and Olivia's when I told them about me and Caelan. I was not expecting that kind of reaction out of Mason, it completely shocked me. He reassured me many times that he would try and be nice to Caelan, to get to know him. I did not expect him to speak to me like that.. 'are you stupid!?.. It broke my heart hearing his opinion on my love life, I thought he would be happy for me.

Caelan is my mate and as much as I disliked Caelan for lying to me in the past, I could never hate him. It wasn't just the mate-bond either, I actually like Caelan, he's funny and kind, he makes me laugh and smile, we have fun together and I truly trust him with anything and everything. It's a weird feeling to completely trust someone who you barely know but the things I feel for Caelan are real, even though they are so raw and new, I've never felt his way before.

I just hope Mason comes around and we can get past this, I don't want to lose him. Mason has been my rock for the past 2 years, I'd be heartbroken if he stopped talking to me for following my heart and accepting Caelan as my mate.

A knock at the door makes me sit up and my pulse raise at the suddenness.

The door opens and I see a familiar face. "Hello dear." Elizabeth comes into the room beaming at me as I smile widely at her as I move the blanket away from me and I stand up to greet her. She wraps her arms around me and I hug her back happily.

I haven't seen her in so long, it's nice to see her after all this time, I feel so bad I didn't stay in contact with her too much, our jobs kept us both busy. When I would write to her every few months, it was always lovely to get a card back, telling me about her day and about her life with her husband and how much they miss me.

"Oh my, what a welcome! I'm so happy to see you again hon." Elizabeth says sweetly as we move away from each other.

I laugh softly and nod my head while I look around. This room is freaking huge, I'm scared to touch anything just so I don't accidentally break it. "It's so nice to see you too! I can't believe it's been two years." I say amazed as I study her appearance. She hasn't aged a day, she looks the same as always.

Elizabeth beams. "Well! You have certainly grown more beautiful, Prince Caelan is a very lucky man." She says happily and I stare confused at her.

How did she know? "Um, how did you know.. Uhm about-"

She snorts. "Oh dear, I knew instantly two years ago. I watched the prince grow up, that man is so much like his father." She says shaking her head with a smile.

That reminds me, where is Caelan? And how long was I out for? I hope I didn't drool on anything.. so embarrassing.

Elizabeth goes to the bed and begins to tidy it and I turn and help her make it straight. "Caelan is fetching you some clean clothes, that man is as stubborn as his father, refused to let me do it." She says laughing out and I smile at how right she is. Caelan is stubborn.

We finish the bedding and I turn and look for the bathroom, this place is like an apartment with the many doors inside the bedroom, I'm completely overwhelmed from being inside this room, inside the palace. It's a completely different new world to me, a commoner.

"Um, is it okay if I freshen up?" I ask Elizabeth shyly.

She laughs softly and waves her hand for me to follow her. "Of course dear, take your time. I will see you later for dinner hon." She says as she opens the door to the lavish bathroom and I gaze around mesmerized by how gorgeous and huge this bathroom is.

I nod, still overwhelmed by everything. I look at Elizabeth and hug her. "I'll see you later, tell Ricardo I can't wait to see him too." I say smiling and she giggles and we say our goodbyes for now and I shut the bathroom door and look around.

They have a huge walk-in shower, it's the size of my bedroom. It's actually the size of it exactly, with water holes coming from all corners of the shower, this is actually pretty cool. I've never seen anything so awesome as this. The rest of the bathroom is perfect and everything matches, black marble walls and cream marble flooring, sinks are black and gold with the insignia and house of Black imprinted inside.

I look dreamily at the huge bathtub that looks like a small swimming pool, I will definitely one day use that. I begin to strip out of my clothes and walk into the shower. I look around and try and figure out how to turn this bloody thing on. Almost a second later, water pours out on all areas in lukewarm water, slowly getting warmer and I'm in heaven.

I could stay inside here forever.

I hear the door open and I freeze, I can't see anything due to the amount of steam in the room.

"Hello?" I call out wearily. Just when I was about to walk out and grab a towel, I see Caelan stepping out from the mist, butt naked. He is grinning down at me and I'm trying so hard to not shamefully gawk at how beautiful he looks naked. He is a fine specimen of a man, holy hell.

Did it just get hotter in here?

He pulls me to his chest and my wet body touches his. "I should punish you." He says huskily in my ear as he walks forward, causing me to walk backward until my back hits the wet walls of the shower. I swallow hard at how close we are right now, and naked.

I look up to him, feeling my face grow hot from how sexy he looks with his hair wet. "Punish me for what?" I ask and my stomach does flips when he smirks sexily at me.

He laughs and kisses my mark on my neck. "Showering without me, of course." Oh, of course.. how silly of me.

He pulls back from my neck and moves the wet hair from my face. He looks at me seriously and frowns slightly. "How are you feeling baby?" He asks and I feel my chest tighten.

I try to smile but it still is so raw for me. "I'll be okay, I'm just sad.. how are you feeling?" I ask and he laughs. Did I ask something weird?

"Mate, I'm in the shower with you, nothing can ruin how happy I am." He says and that's when I feel his 'happiness' press against my stomach.

I forgot how huge he was. We only had sex once but I still remember how it felt inside me, I feel it every time I walk. Is that normal? "You drive me crazy Acela." Caelan says against my cheek as he grinds himself against me and I feel like moaning by how wet he is making me in-between my legs..
